Atlanta Network Technolgies review: Their hiring practices 1

This place is a nightmare, full of lying deceitful people. Run from this company. I worked for them briefly, less than two weeks. When they hired me I didn't receive any paperwork, no job description, no information on salary and benefits, NOTHING. They did not even tell me what my title was. When I asked for this they said they are trying me out in different places to see where I work best... This obviously raised red flags for me but I proceeded with the employment anyway because they promised me a large salary. On my 8th day at work, after sending 500 emails a day (no, I am not exaggerating), and with no guidance of what they wanted from me or where I was headed in the company, what expectations they had of me, the owners pulled me into their office and said that I had to step it up, that I was not learning as well as I should based on their secret monitoring system that monitors all of my activity (which they created). Of course I was blown away because, one I am not an idiot, I have a college degree and I am intelligent enough to do the work they asked of me. Two, nobody had mentioned anything about what they expected of me and I had been working hard the entire time, doing exactly what was told to me. The best part: they told me they wanted to pay me as an entry level employee until I proved myself. That meant they were cutting my salary by almost $10,000... after less than two weeks. I was expected to know everything in that time apparently, even though nobody told me what my position was or gave me any paperwork on what to do, no notes on the procedures, absolutely nothing. I truly believe this is how they get intelligent, but meek, people to work for them... they pretend to pay them a certain amount then pull the rug out from under them and do not follow through on their promises. Then they expect them to stick around and take their abuse while getting good workers but not paying them as promised. I said "no thank you" and resigned. In addition to the bad hiring practices, they have a terrible company. Their customer service is horrendous. They don't reply to half the customers, and when they do they lie. If you don't receive a package and you ask about it they will send you a reply stating that they are tracing it, but they never do. They do nothing, in fact. They use fake names when talking to customers, so you never know who you really dealt with. Also, they are under investigation by the Attorney General of NJ, and the BBB. Their products are crap, they send the wrong things out constantly and if you try to RMA it, they will hand you every excuse in the book so they don't have to take it back. They really are not good people to do business with. Stay away from them.
