Bought 1 box of each cake mix in years past 1 box always did a 2 layer 9" round. Today neither box would come close. Filled one just below half and only had enough batter for 5 reg cupcakes. Had to make rest from scratch, 1.69 a box almost doubled since I bought them a couple of years ago and can't even get a 2 layer cake. What happened to the mix? Why advertise it doing 2 layers when it does not?
Desired outcome: Lable box that you will need 2 box's to get a 2 layer cake unless you don't mind your cakes being the same height as pancakes.
