I went on their website looking for online prices for a hotel where we normally stay when we travel. The price at bookonline.com came up as $125.72, and we know that there are always taxes and fees added to the cost. Bookingonline.com also tells you that there will be a charge of 25% if you cancel your reservation. I had no intention of canceling the room, until I found out what they were really charging us.
Who knew that you would be charged 25% for the cancelation of this room that now has a cost of $207.50.
Yes, I'm an adult, but I really feel that they should all be made to show taxes and fees up front. They know what the taxes and fees are before we do. My reservation # was H5772681.
Lesson learned, if they aren't showing you those figures up front, they really have something to hide. Also, now days, call the hotel directly and you might make out better.
Desired outcome: I would like to receive a refund of the cancelation fees or be charged a cancellation fee based on the initial cost of the room ($126.72). My reservation # was H5772681. Thank you
