Hi I actually started a complaint and received an email to fill in more information so I did below and when I hit send I received an email back that the case was closed because they detected foul language. There was no foul language. I would much rather a phone call from either the owner of the store or the regional manager like I was told I would receive. I called three times and was told someone would contact me within 5-7 business days and three times I called and it is not jan 25 and no one has called. The way Tim Hortons treats their teenage staff is disgusting. On top of how my daughter was spoken to over text messages form her manager, she was not paid for time she worked. She was not paid from 4 pm on her first shift when the manager was taking her around and had her fill in forms. My daughter signed in one shift at 3:58 then proceeded to walk to the back to put her phone away and the manager yelled at her saying once you clock in you remain on the floor. My daughter tried to explain that she was just putting her phone away as she on the phone with her mother. The manager clocked her out and then she had to re clock in and was docked 15 minutes. Also my daughter had a 3-11 [censored] one Saturday and they asked her to stay to clean and the supervisor on duty that day said she had to sign out at 12 as they couldn't sign out past midnight. However kept her there working until 12:30 am.
To not have anyone who is in upper management contact me regarding all these issues is very bad service. You wonder why kids don't want to work in these places. My daughter does not want to apply anywhere now for fear she is not good enough. The management staff you hire should be well versed in hoe to deal with teenagers. Should explain everything to these kids when hired. including how to change shifts or cover them if needed off. I don't think it is appropriate that you give a schedule to these kids of just say Sunday 6 am to 2 pm then three days later say i'm changing it to 2 pm to 10 pm and either come in or don't. if these kids have made plans around their schedules then management needs to realize this and be respectful of these kids. They are just kids and just starting out. Management should be there to teach them the ropes of working. My daughter was never told her work ethic was bad. In fact she was training another girl on her first shift as my daughter worked at another tim hortons and left there because the manager there stopped giving her shifts because she asked for a day off.
I really advise you to look at your management staff and make sure they are treating these kids with respect. They may stay longer if they are.
I am aware that my original complaint went to the manager of the store. the problem is she is the one I am complaining about so what good is that? she also showed a child that works there the complaint and that child told my daughter. What kind of manager does that?

Desired outcome: i would prefer the owner call as its his/her store and he/she should be aware of the management people he/she is hiring to deal with these kids.
