August, 2022, I took my 2002 PT Cruiser in for repairs. My car was overheating. I had already had a radiator replaced earlier in the year. I was told the fan had gone bad and needed to be replaced. I purchased the part myself, so all I had to pay was the labor to install it. A few days later, the same thing happened and I had to take my car to a dealership to replace the fan. When CarX did the repair, the mechanic failed to put the wiring back in place. The connector/wiring melted and shorted out my new fan. Had to do a full replacement at the dealership. The total cost to replace the damaged fan and wiring was $1382.32.
I requested a refund from CarX for the labor costs I incurred. I was asking that the $555.33 labor cost be refunded based on the guarantee written on the paperwork envelope. I have contacted CarX multiple times. I have emailed the corporation about the problem. I cannot get any satisfactory answer. Since CarX keeps failing to address this issue, I think they should be responsible for the labor cost and the additional cost incurred to repair the problem.
Desired outcome: I would like to get my labor costs and my additional repair costs refunded to me. Andrea Mitchell, 170 Willow Ridge, Altoona, Iowa 50009, [protected]@msn.com
