Advertised price was $4.40 per gallon x 100. The correct total charge for delivery = $440.
Apparently the driver must have went over the 100 gallons without setting the 100 gallon limit.
Country Fuel charged the ministry $5.05 per gallon not the advertised $4.40. The charged amount was $65 over the advertised price.
There also became another UNAUTHORIZED FRAUDULENT CHARGE because Country Fuel obviously wrote the credit card numbers down and without notifying the ministry charged another $63.13.
The 2 charges put our accounts in the red with negative balances costing us another $160 unnecessarily.
THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED. This cost ministry about $130 extra from Country Fuels and $160 in overage charges from the card company. Total crippling expenses to the essential struggling ministry was $290 we should not have paid.
Country Fuel should be liable and pay us the $290 they caused the ministry to spend that the ministry does not have. This financially crippled the ministry that we have not overcome to date; Christmas Meal program had no funds to happen.
The heating oil remains untouched to this day in the same place the driver delivered. Refund all our money and collect the heating oil.
The bad taste for country fuel is spreading because country fuel does not have the ethics to have called or returned money to the ministry, accepted our calls to them, multiple messages left. No calls were returned.
Buyers beware the lower price will cost you the most. Please spread the word. Steer clear of trouble.
