I received an Email from Digital Caucus saying that a domain name that I was intrested in was for sale at a certain price. I paid with my credit card thru paypal and recieved a receipt for my purchase. A couple of days later I recieved a refund from paypal and then I recieved another Email from a company called ITDOMAINNAMES saying the domain name is now for sale at 3 times the price I paid for it. I'm not sure what's going on but something seems crooked.

they sell domains that are somewhat desirable but they don't usually already own them. you can go to any registrar such as qsdnet.com and pick them up for $10. I have done just that with two great domain names that they spammed me to buy for $69.95 - they did not even own them. I just went to qsdnet.com and got them for $10 bucks.

Just had the same thing as mentioned in this thread. This time called a company/service called "Dot Com Upgrades" but I couldn't find any trace of their existence on the internet. When I clicked through to PayPal it listed the company name as "Digital Caucus" which brought me here.

Picked up my domain from Name Cheap for less than $10.

Thanks Brian!
