I called Everest Cash advance to schedule a payment with a credit card. The customer service rep was hard to understand and took awhile to finally get my name correct and credit card number. I finally got the credit card confirmed and rep said payment was taken. My next payday I noticed that my checking account had been charged the full payment. I called back Everest cash advance and asked why my checking account was charged and not my credit card. The rep told me that my credit card was declined so they just charged my banking account. My banking account did not have the money to cover the charge hence why I used a credit card. I bounced checks and I had not money for several days until I could clear with my bank. My bank said it would take over 2 weeks to file and complete a dispute. There was nothing they could do in time to cancel payment. Everest Cash advance then told me to take out another loan to cover their mistake. I said verbal I agree only if you don’t charge me finance fee. I told Karen in customer service that I agree and two write into notes 3 times. I asked her to confirm and she said yes and before I knew it I was transferred to a rep to set up new loan. I said I was not sure if Karen wrote into notes about not paying finance fee. I asked her to transfer me back to Karen to confirm I would take out loan and payback within 24 -48 hours of receiving the loan to cover Everest mistake. She said she did and transferred me back.
Once I received the 2nd loan and my account was cleared I called back several times to make my payment. They said Karen was not here and would call me back. Never heard back.
Called again and said need to talk with supervisor and to give me name and good number to reach. Never heard back. Called again and asked to speak with Karen a day later. Same thing to busy and gave number to call back. Never heard from her so I called the next day and finally got Karen.

Karen said she never said that they would not charge finance fee. I told her I was sure they recorded conversations and this was not the case. I then found out Karen was not a supervisor. When I ran into this problem I request a supervisor and she lied and said she was a supervisor. So I requested to speak with Supervisor and EDWARD S answered. I asked if he was a supervisor as I was mislead last time. He was very short and rude. Went through the whole line of this is a business built on making money and we would never agree to not charging finance fee. I said it this was my fault I would pay since it was not I would not pay you finance fee if it was 50 cents. It’s the whole integrity of the business.

In the beginning they agreed to pay overdraft and NSF fee. I sent them my bank statement 2 x never heard from them . They said they called and left message but never heard one word from them. They said oh we did receive your statement but they would not accept it because it did not show my name or my bank statement. I said Karen and you said you never received my bank statement and now you are saying you did but it was not correct. EDWARD S said yes we told you this I said no you just did after you said I did not send it. So now I have resend a bank statement that has my name on it and account number to a company I don’t even trust to hold my bank account. The proof is in the pudding regarding their mistake.
1. They did not charge me NSF once my bank refused payment
2. They agreed to credit my banks NSF fee.

I took out a small loan and was given a due date on when my payment will be due. I was told if I was to pay it off early that the fees for the loan would be less than what was quoted to me...I tried to contact this company by phone to make my payment early and the phone rings then tells you to select an option for the purpose of your call...at this point, I was put on hold and the automated system assured me that my call was important and that my call will be answered in the order it was received...after being on hold for 5 minutes it tells you to leave a message (which I did). NO ONE as of yet has called me back to resolve my issue (14 days later). I've tried several times on different days and still nothing...I then tried to pay using the website and it gives me an error message when I choose the return customer and customer service option. I googled this company and came across this complaint page and have immediately changed my account info...if they want their money back, they'll have to contact me directly and at that time will receive a Money Order...I will no longer use this company and they may have ruined the chances of me using any other service such as this one...BUYERS BEWARE!

I took out a small loan and was told to pay 60.00 interest towards loan so I told the loan rep to take the full amount out on the specified date. The date came and they took 60.00 only so I called to see why did they do that and they indicated you still owe 260.00 and I only borrowed 200.00. I explained that the rep explained only 60.00 extra would be taken out as the interest the foreign speaking man stated that was a finders fee. I said what are you talking about and he said every two weeks you will be deducted 60.00 I stated no you will not you will take 200.00 now and I will never deal with you all ever again. He stated ok well we will take 230.00 out tomorrow I stated do that so I will be done with you guys and never will I deal with you again. This organization are liars and they steal so please do not ever deal with them they are a foreign country who is stealing from us. FRAUD ALERT!

I was given a coupon for $60.00. I talked with a guy that could barely speak English but I could understand him. We went over everything that I would not be charged until September 20th but I was charged $75.00 on September 13th. When I called to complain another Indian guy (no I am not racist) stated there was never a phone call and lied about what I agreed to. Really! How did I agree to something if there was never a phone call. EVERYTHING WAS A BIG LIE! THEY ARE FRAUDULENT! I have gone to the BBB and will go even further. I am just getting the word out to warn people you are in big trouble if you deal with them. You cannot believe their advertisements, their Customer Service is a joke! Please avoid this company at all costs!

I just applied (literally) for a advance loan with this company. I reviewed the loan agreement and then called. I was greeted by a representative and I started asking questions...such as why does it say that 575 will be due on my next payday? What is the point of a loan if your expected to pay it back the next week? He said no only 75 comes out of your account and then 150 every other week after that. Then they start charging you 75 when you hit the 5th week and none of that money goes toward the loan until the 5th week. I got approved for 500 with a 75 finance charge. BEWARE! ITS A TRAP! See its like this...I pay 75 week 1, 150 week 2, 150 week 3, 150 week 4 and then there is a balance of 50 week 5. So its not paid up and they charge me an additional 75 every payday so I am always behind and cant pay it off unless I pay early. So in essence I am paying triple or more for a 500 loan...no thank you! I told the man no way and thanked him for his time. Nothing worse than people who thrive off of other peoples misfortunes...I am just thankful that I asked questions first and read the agreement...READ READ READ before you sign!

YOU NEED TO DEMAND A REFUND! I WROTE LETTERS TO EVEREST CASH ADVANCE & WAS VERY BLUNT & TO THE POINT! THEY ARE AN ILLEGAL LENDING COMPANY DO NOT PAY THEM A DIME! OVER THE PRINCIPLE AMOUNT! AND THEY ACTUALLY REFUNDED ME MY MONEY! CAUSE I THREATENED TO TAKE THEM TO COURT & SHUT THEM DOWN!
