Ordered a book through barnes and noble, they marked it as shipped and 3 weeks after they tell me they never shipped it AFTER I asked about the status of the order. I could have probably gone for months waiting for the book without knowing they never shipped had I not send an email to them.

I ordered a book from them through Alibris and still have not received it. Alibris was nice enough to refund my shipping. I ordered the book on July4 and it shipped on the 5th it is now the 18th and still have not received the book.

Completely contrary experience. Two fairly-expensive photography books arrived in about ten days, well ahead of schedule and beautifully packaged. Two emails immediately answered. I nearly didn't order from them because of poor reviews but personally would not hesitate to do so in the future. No problems. None, and I should mention, the prices on these books easily the best on the intenet. At least that was my experience and I was wary.

BUYER BEWARE! I’ve purchased several books from seller, ALL received in a LESSER condition than listed. Damages couldn’t have occurred during shipping. For example, one book was listed as NEW; when received, the jacket had paper glued to it and pages of the book were glued to the back board, not in the binding. Another book had the back board snapped in half but stuffed inside a new book jacket. The seller was terribly unresponsive and evasive. It took numerous emails to get a partial refund. I had to fight for a full refund; they never reimbursed me for my return costs.

Listen to the others, this company is a fraud! I ordered a textbook from them off of abebooks and haven't received it five weeks later. Customer service is evasive and blames their "private shipping services" for the issue. I don't believe the book has even been shipped, it's likely sitting in a warehouse somewhere.

It's now the end of March and still... Nothing! Customer service finally spoke with me towards the end of February and said they sent another copy. The second copy has also not arrived.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM.

I ordered a book on 25th November it is now 10th January2023. The book has not been received by the courier company e post, nor the second they tell me at Abe books they have sent. Customer services are rubbish I have asked for a refund and have been totally ignored. Phoned customer services in Canada guess what you get an answer phone message telling you to email. My emails are ignored.

DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGE POLE

I have the same experience, I returned the books due to late delivery, I am not sure if i will get the refund after seeing your comment.

I ordered a book on a 15th-century artist and instead received a book on art in the 1930s. I requested a refund and returned the book as per ABE’s instructions. Now Greatbookprices claims they have not received the book and will not issue a refund. The week before I ordered another book from them and after a long delay (and my angry emails), was told they did not have the book. Two copies from greatbookprices are still advertised on ABE’s website. Was this retaliation for my justified anger at their incompetence?
