For the past 3 months, I have continued to my 2018 Honda Accord to Honda of Aiken for various problems. This past March, problems with the motor escalated, and I took to the establishment in Aiken to be fixed. It has been a month and now I have just received a call from the Honda of Aiken Mechanic, which they cannot fix my engine because it is not their responsibility nor covered under any warranty. The mechanic quoted a price of a new motor from Honda would be $8700.00. They allowed me to use a rental until my car is fixed. Now they are stating that I am no longer allowed to use the rented vehicle and I now owed them approximately $600.00 for the usage of two weeks. I have been bringing my car for various problems to Honda and nothing seems to be resolved. Apparently, when the turbo was installed which was said that I needed, no one took the time to diagnose my vehicle to see if there were any more problems soon to escalate.
I do believe that I have been very fair in trusting Honda of Aiken with the well-being of my vehicle. For I have always believed Honda was fair and trustworthy when it came to purchasing their vehicles and having a good mechanic department in caring for your car. I only had my car for a period of 3 years and have not completed my payments. The car is of no value plus I am still making payments which are costly and will be even more costly if a new motor is installed at my expense. Plus, I am being charged for using a rental from Honda.
