I would like help in recovering the money that I sent for a used battery (30KW Nissan Leaf). In March 2023, I wired a total of $24,600 for a 2019 Nissan Leaf and a battery to ITC Cars Japan and when the container arrived in Barbados, there was no battery. Since then the manager Peter Brain wants me to order another vehicle through his company so that he can deduct the $2600 for the battery. I do not want to do any more business with ITC cars because they are not genuine. My broker showed me that ITC cars would have known that a battery was never shipped because they signed off on all of the commodities in that 40ft Container which did not include a battery. This is over a year and they continue to ignore my request to return my money for the battery.
Claimed loss: $2600.00
Desired outcome: I would like ITC Cars to return my $2600 for the 30 kwh battery

You've definitely put up a good fight here—could've been worse if you hadn't caught them on their paperwork. Sounds like ITC Indus Trading Japan is trying to dodge accountability, but you've clearly got them cornered. Hopefully, they realize you're not backing down and finally return what’s owed. It’s impressive how you’ve managed to stay on top of this for so long.
