The name of the company is called JC Power Systems Incorporated

Co-Par / JC Power Systems Inc is an anti-union company and in order for
Co-par to not follow Union rules he has had his Son Jason setup JC Power
Systems Incorporated and employees from Co-Par Electric Ltd work for
JC Power Systems and encourages the employees not to report this to
the union that they are working for a non-union company.

When people go to work for JC Power Systems they take a drastic pay
cut vs what is made working for Co-par Electric Ltd.

There are a majority of the people that are union members who works for Co-par
at some time that are now working for JC PowerSystems Inc.
which violation Union rules when they don't tell the Union that they are
working non-union.

JC Power System also attempts to hire on more apprentices and use them as
cheap labour and use them as Journeymen and pay them very low pay and have
them use their own personal vehicle as a work truck.

You won't get paid no $18 an hour either from what I have heard you will get
paid about $17 an hour from this company with no KM or any kind of travel time
or any other kind of reimbursement for using your own vehicle. And you are expected
to go outside of Edmonton as well using your own vehicle.

Over all it isn't even worth working for this company you will just end up getting
screwed in the end with your pay as well and your hours. You will not get 40 hours
a week and he will give you some work but won't give you full hours.

Jason Cook is a smooth talker but don't believe what he says or what he puts
on job listings like the ones above.

Also JC Power Systems as of the end of April does not have any kind of
medical benifits plan. Thier saftey isn't that good either they will
leave you alone one site yourself even if you are a 1st year or 2nd year
apprentice. Health and Saftey is a big concern when you work for
JC Power Systems.

Even though this is against the rules and a 1st and 2nd year apprentice
should be supervised at all times they will leave them alone
on site. If you say anything about it you will find that you will be
threatened to be fired.

This company will also attempt to pass off used parts as new and use
them on various projects. JC Power will take parts out of other locations
and reuse them. Don't trust this company they are crooked as hell!

The quality of the work done by this company is horrible they are over
all a very bad company! Don't use them for any kind of work or work for
them!

Cause you heard some rumors or you know someone who believes they were not treated fairly by this company. Does not give you the right to slander this company. You want to talk about broken rules, how about this slandering a company or a person without just cause, You can be taken to court and sue over this.

Cause you hate non union company's doesnt mean they are evil, Personalty I dis like union company's I think you guys are all brain wash with your brotherhood crap. In non union your pay what your worth, so if you can't do an out standing job and keep up pace you shouldnt be pay top dollar. I dont know about you, but When I was a kid I got gold stars sticker for doing a great job.
In the union you can screw up on your work, of course your going to get yell at & made fun of but you still get an gold star for effort.

Sounds like the original poster had a disagreement with the company and is acting like a spoiled two year old.
I had dealings with this company and they were professional, on time and met the cost.
This guy is definitely just slandering someone here because he can get away with it. I wouldn't listen to him.
