My wife and I had tried several times to sell our last two rent houses. We had listed them with other *** Agents in the past. After several months on the market we could not even get a good offer. Both houses were listed for below market value. We had seen HomeLights ads on the television and decided to give them a try. We were directed to *** in ***, . We could not have been more pleased. Within days after listing the properties we had multiple offers. In a few weeks we closed on both houses at far more than we had listed them for with the other company's. I would highly recommend HomeLight to others.

I was so glad I picked HomeLight introducing me selling agents. They gave me 4 agents, all are very professional, very knowledgeable. After interviewing , it was very hard for me to pick one, but finally I picked agent ***. Shes all great but the most important is you can trust her, she was always in my side, gave me very good advice.During the process, HomeLight kept emailing me : do I need anything else? Do the agent fit my need? HomeLight was with me all the steps of the way.I highly recommend HomeLight to my family, friends and every one planing to sell the home.Thank you very much HomeLight.
Received an unsolicited text from this company and have no idea where the got my number. They claim they received an online request from a different state where I am absolutely not looking for a home. They approached it as "is this a better time to connect." This is not a reputable company if they behave like this.

Be wary. The moment you input your information you will be bombarded with endless calls from multiple realtors in your area "that just want to talk". I don't believe it is properly advertised that HomeLight will be giving your phone number and email to multiple businesses. I did not know that that was what I was consenting to when I clicked submit. Even worse, there isn't a way to unsubscribe once you do so. Because they gave my number to different businesses, I now have to reach out to many different people to get them to stop calling me. Even HomeLight emails, they didn't have an easy way to unsubscribe, and it took an email directly to them saying I needed to be taken off. It feels spam-like and predatory.
They are totally unreliable never responded to any of our emails they reached out twice asking for info to purchase of house and than never made a official offer or even responded I wouldnt feel comfortable doing business with a company and dont even respond to simple stuff the same *** has reached out twice wasting my time wanted to know details about my house and when I tell him if the offer is good we will sell he just stops responding very unprofessional dont waste your time just use your trusted realtor much easier
This company does very poorly when it comes to decreasing the stress and anxiety of purchasing a new construction home. They keep changing the date to start. Construction, without explaining why. The customer service representative can NEVER be reached no matter the of day you are trying to reach her.. they have changed the starting estimation month to begin construction three months in a row! They get your money and then you only hear from them to inform you construction WILL NOT be starting again!
Began receiving calls from this company on a Sunday morning. I question the ethics of any company that would solicit business on a Sunday. I have to say thank you for forcing me to activate my call screening and blocking your number. You will not disturb me and my family on a Sunday again.

We decided to put our home up for sale in January and contacted Homelight via the website. We received an immediate response from ***. *** came to our home the following week. He thoroughly explained the whole process. He was very professional, knew the market and we agreed on a price. That set everything in motion. Once photos were taken our house went on the market and we had an offer in 12 days. As we continued through the closing process *** was a great asset. He helped us every step of the way with all his recommendations. There were no surprises because *** kept us up to date on everything. I highly recommend Homelight and *** if you want to sell your home. It was a real pleasure working with him.
I filled my name in on their website to look for a realtor. 3 names popped up and I wasn't really interested in any of the realtors they provided me - I also didn't have much detail on them other than how many houses they sold. I didn't think much of it so I just closed the tab. The next morning, I was in a presentation, and in a span of 10 mins I got 5 different numbers calling and texting me. I called them to ask them to take my list off their site because I couldn't do it online. The rep basically told me that I had unrealistic expectations and that it's what I signed up for. I kept saying "look, I'm not mad, I get it, but can you please let them know - no thank you" then he proceeded to "educate" me some more about how wrong I was and what their product is... the entire time I was like "I get it, all I want you to do is take me off your list and never contact me again". Just super rude customer service. PS - every time I tried to say anything the rep just spoke over me.
Our nonprofit was contacted by the Sponsorship Coordinator for Homelight in July . They wanted to sponsor one of our events for $250. We agreed, gave them their sponsorship benefits during the event, and emailed them an invoice on August 4 with a due date of August 31. On September 20, I reached out by email because we had still not received payment. I was informed that they would check on it and then heard nothing until I reached out again on October 13. On October 20, I contacted Homelight generic support as I could not get a response. I was then emailed on October 27 and told the check was apparently mailed to the wrong address and returned to Homelight. They then told me they would reissue the check to the correct address. We never received another check, and I emailed them again on November 20 and December 13 with no response. We are a small nonprofit, and the amount of time I have had to put into not only providing sponsorship benefits back in August but also following up on receiving payment has been an utter waste of resources. It was incredibly discouraging to have this happen and extremely unprofessional on Homelight's part. They will never again be allowed to partner with us, and we would encourage anyone being contacted regarding sponsorship to consider our experience.

Finding our house was certainly attributable to the efforts of *** and his team. The first home we tried to buy was found by coincidence, but we didnt have a realtor. I made an inquiry through homelight.com and immediately got a call from ***. *** was responsive, flexible, knowledgeable and friendly. He also put our interests above his own. When we wanted to look at houses 50 miles away, he involved another realtor from his team to help us keep our schedule instead of making work around his schedule. *** and *** were very attentive and helpful throughout the entire process of buying a home. They also had business associates who helped us through some challenges to get good financing. Homelights selection process for realtors was perfect for our needs. We recommend them to everyone who needs a realtor.

The sale of my property using Homelight was so smooth and effortless on my part that I could hardly believe it. Homelight suggested the right agent to do the job. I felt my property was in an area that would take a long time to sell. Once the agent checked out the property she told me that I had to be ready to move "because this property would go quickly." I figured it was just a sales pitch and it would take at least a year. She also told me that I has underestimated the value of the property and raised the asking price by 20K. Thinking we would have lots of time we traveled to *** to so some work on the home we purchased. Two weeks later we got a call that we had a full price offer and they wanted to close in 5 weeks. This company like most mortgage companies is very predatory
This company like most mortgage companies is very predatory. They like to lead you on about the cost of point buying. They locked me in at a *** interest but if I want to buy down points I have to buy the points starting at ***. They actually tried to make it sound like they were doing me a favor. Don't expect to get a full list of documentation required for your loan up front either. It took us 3 weeks to finally get them all the paperwork because after submitting the paperwork the day they asked for it on their portal, it took them a full week to get back to us and ask us for 13 more items after the initial *** documents. Then another week later they asked for another 6 items. This company is a joke and does not know what they are doing. They like to gas light customers in to thinking that Homelight is doing you a favor. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

This company has the worst customer service set up I have EVER worked with. I have been trying for over THREE MONTHS to get the correct agent profile to reflect for our real estate team and you literally cannot reach a human being by phone when you click ANY option. Everything refers you to an email that is run by people who have NO idea how to manage their own systems. As of today an outdated profile is STILL showing up through our Yelp page and shows the incorrect brokerage and essentially all outdated information. Even when we got a person to "understand" what we needed to happen they still "fixed" it by removing the profile completely for a week then connecting back to the old one AGAIN. I would HIGHLY suggest you do NOT pay to advertise with them or use them in general for any services because if a problem comes up you will likely not be able to deal with a person who can actually help.

False advertising that they connect you with investors who buy houses for cash and no hassle of showings etc. Clicked on the find the value of your home and then sell your home for cash/get an offer. Never clicked on get an agent. No contact about offers from "investors" on my home just bombarded by non stop calls for local agents who they passed the lead to that I was looking for an agent. Truly deceptive advertising and very frustrating that my phone is ringing of the hook from all types of agents. They don't do anything but pass along referral leads to all kinds of agents who drive you crazy in hopes that you choose one and they can then get their "referral" fee of 25% if you work with an agent they gave your information to. No clear consent given anywhere to pass out all my information. Stay away from these people and find a realtor on your own and know that they don't connect you with any real investors who buy houses.

We knew our photos online were not showing the true picture of our home, so we wanted to find a realtor who had the experience to do the quality of photos we needed. Seeing a commercial on tv for HomeLight, I went online and requested help and had a phone call in less than 5 minutes! It was not high pressure in any way, but very professional. In the next hour, I had calls from 5 different realtors. We chose the first 3 to meet with, so in a week we had our best in the business and highly experienced realtor. Our timing was difficult, through the holidays, but in January, business picked up and we had 7 showings a week and an offer we were able to close on in 5 weeks. We believe because we prayed for God's guidance and believed He had provided your service to help us find the best realtor, God was able to bless us in this way for a great need we had. There is no reason that an agent cannot have another agent list their property. This is done all of the time. The Homelight operator (who refused to give his name) said that there are "legal issues." When I asked him what they are, he said that he was sorry Homelight is not for us, and hung up.My number is *** which should enable you to find the operator's name.We are interested in listing the property with an outstanding local agent - something Homelight offers to real estate sellers, like us.The web site does not function properly, and when we called, the operator was full of nonsense and completely unprofessional.We also find it unethical that in reading the ComplaintsBoard.com reviews, your company offers gift cards for favorable reviews - misleading prospective clients like us to think that your service is better than it is.Sincerely

Homelite is an excellent service that I used to sell three different homes. Our family was going through a tough time and therefore we needed real estate professionals that really knew what they were doing to be able to navigate the complex situations. Homelite makes its agent recommendations based on sales ***. At the end of the day I truly believe the numbers are the best resource for any individual looking to sell their home, many people out there especially sales professionals talk a good game but only few produce results. Homelite put you in touch with those professional agents that produce results. Furthermore, my brother was having a tough time selling a unsellable condo. He was on agent number three based on recommendations he was getting from friends and family. Nobody could actually give him the results that he was looking for which was a sale. I shared with my brother my experience with Homelite, and frankly just said It couldnt get any worse. He decided to give Homelite a chance, Homelite found him an agent that ultimately sold that unit in just a couple of months. This day and age it is extremely difficult to pick the right real estate agent, personally Im *** driven and Homelite with me and my extended family has helped to locate agents that have sold a total of 4 homes.
