It's just sad that there are so many "out there" that just want to take advantage of ignorant, uneducated people. On the other hand, if you are going to be stupid and not check things out before you give someone your hard earned money, maybe that is the price you must pay for the lesson you were taught. I could not sleep at night if I did that to someone, but I sure would make a LOT of money! Reading all the scams and complaints here has been a real eye opener. I had no idea how rampant this is.

Total now is over 1, 000.00, but they will settle for 390.00! What? I have no such loan not repaid. I wanted to contact this j.d.marketing co. And this is one of the sites I found. Scams, scams, and more scams!

They illegally used my personal information to take out a payday loan under their company. I have never done business with them.

12.10.15 I was contacted by an Amy at National Recovery Association, a collection agency stating that I had received $450.00 from this J D Marketing online and I proceeded to tell them it was not me. They are telling me I am going to go to court and I am in arbitration. I told her I was not paying one dime until I was given all of the paperwork regarding this supposed money. Then she gives me a bank account number where the money was deposited that I have never heard of in my entire life! They are all a bunch of scammers. I am going to the police dept. to file a report and let's see what happens.

today 12/22/15 my brother got a call by a collection agency looking for me, i don't know how they got his cell number, then within 10 mins my son also got a call from the same agency looking for me, i called the number that they gave my brother for me to contact them, they had my cell number and my social security number, and told me i owed money to JD Marketing back in October 2010, and even read my old bank account to me, they stated that JD Marketing tried to take funds from my account, but there were no funds available, they threatened me with court and jail, and that they have sent me numerous letters and emails which i have never received. i am so confused.

Today is December 29 2015, My name is Marie. I received a few calls this month about a collection. I have gotten two voice mails about collecting the amount owed and have been warned that contact was made to do so. Since I could not be reached that other contacts would be called to inquire about my whereabouts. Also, it was stated that I would be served at my address to appear in court, so I copied the number down and called to see what was going on. I admit that my credit is not the best but I kinda have an idea of who i actually borrowed money from. When I started asking questions like when was the account made and who was it paid to the representative starting saying well if you want to go to court it would roughly cost you on the upside of 3k. I was like nope don't want to go to court can't afford it, then I told him if it is my debt I will pay it but can;t start until the end of January 2016. He informed me that he couldn't guarantee my case would hold that long, if I could make a good faith payment it would look as if I was trying to resolve the issue. I am not able to do that as my income will not permit it. So he was like I will call you back next week, but before he got off the phone I asked if I could ask a few questions. First one being where did the account originate he was like since the J D Marketing company covers a lot of different agencies he could not pinpoint how or where I applied for the help, he went on to ask me if I have ever applied for a payday account on the internet and I was like yeah but always was rejected. then he stated the last four of the account number and even a local bank but like I told him that could not have been because I have not had a bank account since 2008. Then I asked him could I get the info on the account and he told me that I would get it once I have paid the 710 dollars that I owed, there was another RED FLAG. So we hung up and in less than 15 minutes a lady called me from the same company and told me that no arrangement could be made that far out and I need to make a good faith payment of 50 dollars. I told her maam I have one dollar to my name she talking about calling me tomorrow and seeing did I have the money. I stated I won't have it then, she asked me if i could call someone to ask for help .Nope no help, then I asked why I haven't gotten a letter or anything from then about this collection. She jump aggressive so I got aggressive back and told her being aggressive will not work with me and it is not helping her I will pay the debt if it is mine but I don't have any information on it. The good part is the guy I talked to first told me to look up J D Marketing and I was reading reviews while on the phone with the lady. So I owe you and you can't provide me with the information I need to see what is going on. then you talking about garnishing my check I will get fired and you show won't get nothing.

I received a call from a lady by the name of Kathy with Legal Risk Management claiming I had a pay day from JD Marketing and the amount owed by 1, 400 but they would settle for 400. If I was unable to make the 400 payment they will go ahead a move forward and start the legal process for attempting to commit fraud. I have never done business with this so called JD Marketing they don't even show up on my credit score. In reading the post several of you have written sounds all like a scam.

I just received a call in reference to a supposed payday advance from J.D. Marketing. I was told if I didn't pay, I'd be served with a notice sue. I have never, ever heard of this company, nor have I ever borrowed a payday advance.
B tried to over talk me, gave me 2 different names, and kept hanging up on me. They better hope our paths don't cross.

I have been getting calls with these same issues for years. I did borrow money online in 2008 and allowed them to auto withdrawal the money owed from my Wells Fargo Bank account. The advance was repaid in 2009 and I thought that was over and done with until 2013. I started getting calls about not repaying an advance from 2008 for $450. Well right off the bat I knew that was a lie because I managed a Pay Day advance company here in Nebraska and I know it is illegal for someone to obtain a pay day advance in that amount of money. The limit in Nebraska is $425 with a pay back of $500. Like most of the comments I have read, they sound convincing when they are threatening to send you to court. When I got the initial call it did scare me and had me thinking, "Damn, I thought I paid that". So, like a fool, I paid the man $350 to end the calls and what happen next floored me. A week later I started getting the same phone calls but from a different company and the calls have continued until present day. Over the last 3 days I have been getting calls telling me I had $450 deposited into a US Bank account and the payback was now at over $600 but they would settle and I will get a paid in full letter once paid. I stated to EVERY rep who called me just send me to court then and every conversation I have with them is recorded on my cell phone (great app in the Google Play store) so just send me to court. Here is the jist of it, DO NOT PAY THEM ANYTHING! These people calling you are either knowingly or unknowingly helping scammers scare you and steal your money. Do your research first, find out what is the legal limit if any in your state for pay day advance, record the conversations with these people, and be prepared to go to court if needed. But, here I am 8 years later and still haven't went to court yet so it's a judgement, call I guess.

Today I got a call from a Core Recovery Services, telling me they had FIVE allegations against me, one of them being JD Marketing., from back in August of 2008. I did have a payday loan I took out once and paid back. I started asking them questions about their location, where I could find their information on the web, etc. I got some BS about they are not a fancy high rolling company just an arbitration firm. I called BS. Like someone else on here, I paid back a debt I settle on a payday loan that I thought I had paid back. I got my PIF two weeks ago and here it is I am being told I have five accounts I owe on. Its funny, because if I had this on my credit repot I would never have been afforded $50, 000 in credit limit which I have on several Credit cards.

JD Marketing is a SCAM. There is no such company as JD Marketing since 2012 (according to the Better Business Bureau). Core Recovery Systems is also a SCAM. They make very official sounding phone calls using stolen information. They can be intimidating over the phone, and are extremely unprofessional. They have been preying on my wife for over a year now, using spoofed phone numbers to call her. They have also tried calling me. She recently received an email from them (at her/my request) that absolutely confirmed my suspicions. The address for Core Recovery is in an office park in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. There is no such company located there. The referring email came from a clerk.com email address. Clerk.com is a scam website whose registered address is in Bedminster NJ. EVERYTHING ABOUT THESE CALLS IS PHONY AND PREDATORY. Block their phone numbers and DO NOT BE INTIMIDATED BY THEM.

I have been getting phone calls from these people since 2012. I took out a payday loan in 2009, for $150. Paid in full in 2 weeks. They took it from my account. I have gotten calls from a ron pierce @ [protected] recently, mike jones a few years back. They called my job and told the general manager that they were on the way to arrest me for fraud unless i called them and speak with them. So i did. I said "ya'll have been calling me for 5 years and you are already paid" they proceeded talk and i hung up. What blew my mind is that, i got an official call from a phone number that was the courthouse (561 area code) just south of me. The person left a message that simply said, "we have a case file against you for case # 2016-****, please call ron pierce @ [protected]. I sat back and said, why in the hell would the clerk of courts contact me and not leave a name of the person calling but on behalf of? I thought that was pretty ironic. I go to check my credit score like i do every week, this crap is on my credit. I am pissed. I have sent proof of payment from old bank statements. To make matters worst, mr. Pierce said i took out several payday loans. My credit was shot then, so i know that was impossible hence me only being able to get $150. This is too real and i am on it like white on rice. They will not swindle me.

According to the BBB JD Marketing no longer exists. I checked my credit a yesterday and found that I had a "Derogatory Remark" on my report, placed there by a Midwest Recovery Systems to collect on a $990.00 debt from... JD Marketing! The phone calls are endless and they have sometimes left a message that they had a case pending and were going to act on it. The deal is I have not had any cash loan in over 20 years and in 2016 I did not borrow any $990 (Odd amount, no?) from JD Marketing. All of this is some kind of scam and it appears that variations of Midwest Recovery crop up all over. All of the incoming calls are spoofed caller ID and the message gives an (I think) 888 whatever number to call. I don't bother and do not answer calls from any number that has the same area code as my phone. I picked up the phone roughly 17 years ago in MI and I live in CA. I began filing complaints today, and I'm fairly certain I will prevail. This is all just so much BS and now I see that choosing to not communicate with the collector is the best option. I mean, seriously, if I never heard of them and have never borrowed cash how can this be legit? I'm sick of this nonsense.

I got the same call at my job. I never took out this $620.00 loan they are talking about and I asked to see the original paperwork and they are telling me that they don't have that. So am I just supposed to send you money without any verification? I am not sure if they are trying to scam me or not but I do not want this to affect my credit in any way.
