I received an automated phone call from Kadence International asking to participate in a survey and I would get 2 free tickets for a cruise to the Bahamas all inclusive. They asked 10 questions pertaining to health, then hold for a live representative. He got on the line asked me to confirm my name and zip code then placed me on hold and told me he would back in a moment, but it has never happened.
We noticed your post regarding a automated call you received from a company claiming to be Kadence International. This call was not made by Kadence International. We are a market research company and never use automated calling.
We are concerned that this is a scam of some sort and would like to warn others about this. Do you have any other details - above what you posted - that you can share?
Thanks for any help,

I also had received a call from a representative stating that if I answered a survey that if I qualified would receive a free two or three night hotel stay at one of three or four popular vacation destinations two of them that I remember being Orlando Walt Disney World and Daytona Beach. I answered the survey then was asked my age mailing address, how many people I would be taking, also if I owned a credit card. I qualified according to her to get this free trip but then was told I had to pay almost $100 hotel reservation fee that was refundable upon arrival at the hotel and had to pay it with my credit card. This set off alarms as I was told it was free to begin with and it's just very odd for someone in the first place to tell you you have won a expensive vacation and it's free but then or told you have to pay a reservation fee to actually get the free vacation stay. I am a victim of the Experian data breach and my identity was actually stolen through them and have seen way too many of these types of scams since that happened Last year. I've constantly had my phone hacked since November going through 6 phones and phone numbers and SIM cards which didn't prevent the next occurrence from happening most occurrences happened within 5 to 10 minutes after leaving the cell phone provider after getting everything changed even the phone. I believe this is possibly a way to access my bank account since I didn't provide my credit card information. So I am asking if this check came from your company and does the signature in blue ink seem familiar and actually be someone from your company. Also would like to know why I would receive $20 and not even be told what it's for and the check picture was actually the only thing in the envelope. If this happened to come from your company, why would I be receiving $20 for free when I didn't do nothing to deserve or earn it and didn't even follow through with the hotel reservation fee but was hung up on when I said I couldn't afford it at the time which was true but even if I could have I wouldn't have gave my credit card info to someone saying I won a free trip and then saying I had to pay right then for something to get it. I didn't want to give my credit card information up. This was said to be a available to I believe like 20 people but I had a voicemail from a week earlier stating I had received a free vacation stay just like this one that only a very few amount of people would receive? All these factors says scam all over it! The check looks legit with this companys name, address, and signature in ink I assume is supposed to be the companies accountant. Take a look at the picture and tell me if you recognize this check being it's got a security hologram and signature wrote me from y'all's company but by all the factors of what occurred on the phone and then me receiving a check seems to be some sort of scam? Your thoughts would be appreciated! What does thank you 2080 on the memo line mean?
