LifeOut.com review: Decent site

I have been a member of this site for more than 12 years. I have met some nice people on the site. I don't use social media sites for dating, but I have made some long distance "friends"on it I have not logged on for close to a week, and after doing so today, I was face with a page about the site deeming me close to or in the state of Texas and how harmful these types of sites have been found. I am nowhere near the state of Texas and have my location on. The only way I can access my account, and info is to scan my id for a uk based company. I get that they are trying to keep minors from being exposed to adult oriented sites, but with data leaks happening so often, the last thing I am going to do is hand over my personal information, passport or state id to a company in the UK that I have never heard of.
