I bought health insurance in May 2020 after I lost my job (and benefits) due to Covid. I paid my bill every month and then got injured in November. With a torn rotator cuff, I needed surgery, and all the doctor visits, surgeries and physical therapy was "pre-approved" by the health insurance company. They go by several names:
Multiplan
My Benefits Keeper
International Business Admistrators
Stand Life and Casualty
National Congress of Employers
Whatever the name is, they are very hard to contact, and I almost feel like they are a fake company. I have $30, 000 of medical bills, all of which were denied based on a fictitious claim of "Previous Existing Condition". What is happening here is a crime and needs to be investigated. I looked at the online reviews and I am not the only person getting scammed.
Desired outcome: I want the insurance company to pay the medical bills for which they have insured me for.
