To whom it may concern,
I am FRUSTRATED AND DISAPPOINTED with the service.
On 10th or 11th April 2023, I receive a call from Perodua's Motor Confidence workshop requesting me to send in my new Ativa as they have to replace a part BODY TRANSMISSION due I reported a jerking during car acceleration on my last car service. I sent my car Ativa in to their service center Motor Confidence in PJ on the 13th or 14th April to replace a waranteed part and UNTIL TODAY 6th May it has yet to get it replaced.
I was told to bring in my car because they had earlier found that the BODY TRANSMISSION was having the problem that causes the car to jerk. Fine. So I brought it to the service center and hopefully that it will be replaced within a day or 2. Then I called up on 19th or 20th April and found out that there was nothing done to the replacement as they had to WAIT for the chief technician to come in. OK. But there was no news for the week on the updates.
Then, since monday was a holiday, I called on the evening of tuesday and was told that the technician had gone on leave because of raya week and will come over on the following week to repair. So I guess I had no choice. Again on the following monday again was holiday, I then called on wednesday 3rd may, thinking that the chief technician would have come on tuesday to repair but was told that they found out now that it was not the body transmission problem, but it's the gearbox as the car cannot move forward but can reverse.
So I asked what is going to happen? The staff told me that they had to order the parts again. What! Today is saturday 6th may and no parts have been sent to this center! How long does it take for the parts to be sent to this center? 5 full days and nothing was done! So I want to ask what is perodua doing about this situation? 1 month without a car! Why can't your staff explain or even called me to update me on this situation? What is the good of customer service when they don't even called or update customers? There's the FRUSTATION and Tension and more FRUSTRATION and DISAPPOINTMENT building up in me and family... WHO IS going to pay for these stresses?
Desired outcome: I want an explanation from the management as to why NOBODY took the initiative to replace the parts in the shortest time? and a compensation on the loss of usage
