I contracted QF to install a solar battery after getting my first true-up after installing over 70 solar panels. The contract was signed on 6-12-23 for a solar battery to be installed to offset some of my true-up issues. The company finally got around to installing the battery in April 2024. Apparently, the initial consultant on the project did not realize that the battery could not be placed where we wanted it, and a trench had to be dug to install the battery closer to the electrical panels. Another $8k!
Then after they installed it, there was some problem with the connectivity process and a part had to be ordered. The part has been sitting in my garage now for two weeks, and calls and texts to the company are unanswered.
So now, in addition to not having the battery hooked up to save on my electricity bill, I have a $500 a month payment for the solar battery.
Not only does Quality First have zero credibility with me, but the Enphase manufacturer, seems to have little customer service as well, saying that it will take them at least six weeks to get someone out here and it will cost me another $750.
Ridiculous...
Claimed loss: $1000 in payments made on a non functioning system$1000 in PGE electricity used as a result of not having the battery functioning
Desired outcome: Get this thing running
