I initially signed up for Record Gone subjected to a sequence of inquiries in the course of the questionnaire and survey process, aimed at ascertaining the viability of effectuating the sealing of my record. I paid upfront and today I received an email stating this, "I am reaching out to you today in order to inform you that upon completion of case research and eligibility verification for your case, it has been determined that there will need to have been a 3-year waiting period after the completion of your sentence in order for your case to be considered eligible by the courts requirements/standards. Your case was closed on 07/31/2023, and therefore, will not be eligible until 07/31/2026. I apologize for any inconvenience this matter may cause for you.
The billing department has completed the review on your account, and the balance has been written off accordingly. There is no refund amount due.
Please let us know if you have any questions, and we will be happy to assist you. Thank you.
Desired outcome: The desired outcome is to receive a comprehensive response that addresses the concerns raised and provides a refund of the $200 paid if the matter remains unresolved.
