First Progress Card Firs Progress Master Card

I have deposited $1,500 to get a secure card. I am told that the $1,500 was a SECURITY DEPOSIT and will not be credited to my account. I have made payments on my card of an additional $,1500. I am told that it will take 10 business days to credit my account after the money is received. So, I have $1,500 security deposit and an additional payment of $1,500 which will also not be credited for 10 days. IS THIS A SCAM? Why would you keep $1,500 as a security deposit and still not give me immediate credit for my payment for 10 days? I am also told that it will take 10 weeks for me to get my money back if I close my account now. THIS IS BEYOND A SCAM.

Desired outcome: I would like to give my entire deposit credited to my account or I want my account closed and my entire balance refunded IMMEDIATELY.

Anyone thinking of doing business with First Progress should look at the complaints here and with the Better Business Bureau. I opened the First Progress secured credit card account with a deposit of $500 to help to rebuild my credit. I tried to do a cash withdrawal in May 2023 that was denied and flagged as fraudulent. Afterwards, I paid the pending...

I had an account with first profess card. I contacted them in May 2023 twice and told them I wanted to close my account. I wanted to use my security deposit towards some of the balance and I would pay off the rest. They told me it would take 2 weeks to process. June 30th 2023 it was still not close and no record of request. I Spoke with account supervisor...

First Progress Card Credit card

I have been paying my bill every month by bill pay through my bank and it is guaranteed to be delivered before the due date every month. Almost every month they claim that it arrives just after the due date, usually the day after so they can charge me a late fee every dang month. My bank has it delivered by the 8th when it's due on the 10th. The 10th they charge me a late payment fee and on the 11th they post my check. This has happened numerous times, in fact, almost every month. When I check my bank, it shows that it was sent like it should be every month. First Progress is taking advantage.

Desired outcome: I want all of my late payment fees back.

It feels like they're just stealing my money. I closed down my account and was supposed to get a return check, but it's been 8 months and I received nothing. I've probably been on phone 15 times with them I even faxed them all my information, talked to the manager, etc. Nothing no check. This company is horrible and ripped me off.
