REGARDLESS OF WHAT SKYETEC CLAIMS THEY DO NOT COMPLY TO ANY ESTABLISHED STANDARD IN THE RESTORATION INDUSTRY INCLUDING IICRC OR ANY ESTABLISHED PRICING STRUCTURE. THEIR MOTIVE IS SOLELY TO LIE CONCERNING STANDARDS IN ORDER TO DEFRAUD HOMEOWNERS LIKE MYSELF!
I can understand that insurances companies like Allstate would get in bed with a company like Skyetec so the can justify their lies but It is amazing that the state of Florida would particapate with a company in this manor.
SkyeTec is a consulting company that works with the insurance company. SkyeTec do not partake in fraud or any other illegal acts. They follow all standard guideline that should be followed. Anyone stating that there are fraud must have had a bad experience with their insurance company and blaming it on SkyeTec. We are consultants that provide a service to the insurance company and we provide a report on our finding, the insurance inturn will do what they need to do based on your their policies of that homeowners policy. SkyeTec has nothing to do with what the insurance company does next with the homeowner.
SKYETEC SUCKS!
I work for a restoration company that Skyetec has review a few files for. Generally, they always estimate for less equipment and dry time regardless of materials and situation. I have fought the battle with the insurance company comparing our documentation to what Skyetech claims as an "analysis" of our file and theirs does not hold up. Their only purpose is to supply insurance companies with a reason to cut bills down and save them money. I have never had one reviewed, nor have I met a contractor that has had theirs reviewed, that Skyetec didn't do this. Fortunately for our company, we are IICRC certified and do our projects by the book with LOTS of documentation, so Skyetec's reviews never hold water. Most contractors don't fight back against the insurance company on this, we do. Skyetec claims above not to be involved with what the insurance company does, but people aren't stupid. It's their job to save the insurance company money or they wouldn't continue to use them. Hello!
