Slumberland Motel Sanford FL review: Filthy room, brown smudges next to bed, leaking toilet, bedbugs, wanted cash at checkin + credit card, cx'd friends reservation. Flop house.

Slumberland Motel Sanford, Florida Dirty filthy dirty room, buck shot dings inside door, brown smudges next to headboard, leaking toilet around base, bugs in the room especially bathroom, they wanted payment in cash at check in and when I didn't have that much cash, they took $100.00 and put the balance on my credit card. They phoned and asked my travel companion for payment ahead of time and when she refused, they cancelled friends reservation. Flop house. Door has cheap lock and feels unsafe. You advertise that the hotel is pet friendly. There is a sign at check in "NO PETS". Shame on you and shame on them. Then near that sign is another that states "DOG ON PREMISES".
