They refuse to replace the leaking geyser, which is still under guarantee, until I pay a callout fee, because I called them out when hot water leaked out my ceiling. They knew about the leaking geyser and only set a date 2 weeks later to replace it. This whole thing has been dragging out for over 2 months - in fact the solar geyser has never worked properly since installation. The panels were also leaking! I have paid who knows how much in electricity bills which I should have been saving because of the faulty system and now they refuse to fix it until I pay them even more!
Took the company to install 1 x 300 Litre solar geyser 4 months after numerous calls. On their last visit they damaged the awning were they accessed the roof. Damage amounts to R3200-00. Now they want me to proof they are responsible. They were the only people on the roof. I need help to sort this and to prevent other people for getting into the same situation.
I think best thing to do is rather just repair it yourself as u know these days companies even people don't want to be responsible but next time you make any improvements to your property rather pay the balance after u have done your final inspection as you know how your place is structured.let this be lesson not to pay cash before the job is done
