Does anyone know what recourse I have with Safeway? I ordered groceries for delivery 2 days ago. When my order was delivered 90% of my order was missing because apparently they forgot a couple bags at their American Canyon Store according to the store manager there. I was told they would deliver the rest of my order between 8 am and 12 pm and nobody showed up. I called and spoke to the manger of the store around 1:30 pm and he told me he was leaving at 6 pm and it will be delivered shortly. 4:30 rolled around I decided to call the American Canyon store and a woman answered the phone and she said the order was in route and should be at my home any moment. 7:30 pm rolled around nothing. I called customer support at corporate and asked for a refund. I was told a refund was processed. Instead of a refund they charged my card for more money. Today I received a call from the American Canyon Store again and they said they were processing a refund which i don't believe they will. Am I just out the money? Is there any consumer protection agency that protects us from companies like Safeway if they don't deliver and keep your money? Any advice is appreciated!
Desired outcome: I want y money back for the items not delivered.
