Ordered clearance lights and turn signals for my Peterbilt 6/28/24, clearance lights showed up 3 weeks later with some of them already opened in the shipping box (no packing whatsoever) Contacted them and I get a run around, they'll check with factory, did I check and see if they work. Turn signals have not arrived 7/23/24, I asked to cancel remainder of order and get a refund return label and they told me order couldn't be canceled!
Recommendation: Find another company!
bumper for cascadia
i ordered a bumper for my 2015 freightliner cascadia. total cost including shipping was $654.00 i was happy with this on the ticket it states the bumper charge and the shipping charge. total with both is $654.00. i ordered on November 13 2023. bumper was sun to be here friday, then it was supposed to be here yesterday. i called last night as it wasn’t delivered.
i looked at my bank statement yesterday and Vehicle Saftey Pulled an unauthorized charge for $449.71. i contacted them and they tried to charge the $449.00 for extra shipping. the shipping was clearly marked on my invoice and it was paid. I then was supposed to receive the bumper today.
i called the delivery company and told them about the extra charge. the delivery company said that they do not charge an extra $449.00. so i told them not to deliver and i contacted Vehicle saftey supply i demanded all of my money back
I would not ever recommend this company as they try to scam you they put one shipping price on the order when you initially order and then they bill you are not over price shipping price on top of that. They lost my business and I would recommend you think twice before purchasing from them.
Unauthorized charges!
I didn't have to wait for my package, but to my surprise, my card was charged an "additonal shipping fee". I agreed to pay approx 14$ shipping charge and then they charged my credit card an unauthorized additional 19$ for a tiny padded envelope weighing less than 2 ounces (.1 POINT ONE pounds). And their customer service SUCKS, rude and unhelpful. So BUYER BEWARE, get your item ANYwhere but here! Tell everyone you know they are frauds and not to order from them or you will be overcharged and treated like crap about it. You will never feel they care about you nor will you receive any customer service.
I filed a complaint with the BBB and I am going to contst the charge with my bank and I'm going to share this horrible experience with all rate/review sites possible.
When I worked in customer service, EVERY customer was worth a LOT more than 19 bucks!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Every review here is true. Today is three weeks since I placed the order, and the third time I called and was told they just shipped. Tracking has been showing "pre-shipment" for two weeks. I can tolerate business related issues, but not complete dishonesty and lies.

Ordered lights for the rear tail lights on my work truck, they sent me an invoice. I have not heard another word from these people about tracking numbers or anything else! Sent them an email saying hey I need tracking numbers, especially since you didn't include the space number for my house, so who knows where the packages are even going to end up! This company is absolute garbage, failing to do any follow-up, not answering emails, and it seems they might just be scamming people because I'm about to report them for fraudulent business practices. I'm so tired of these worthless companies that conduct poor business and still expect to be respected in the business world. Either get professional or shut down!

He gets back on the line and says they won't be in for 6 weeks. The dude's a crook. Want to wait weeks and weeks to get your stuff, with no idea when you will actually receive it? This is the company for you! By the way, if you want to bypass the hassle of being ignored via phone and email, call him at his personal business line.

I just wanted to add a positive review for vehicle safety supply. I ordered some mirrors on the 28th of Feb. They didn't ship in the 3-4 days. I contacted them by email. They promptly responded that it would ship the week of 3/15. 3/16 they still had not shipped. I contacted the sales department. Spoke to Daniel. He promptly refunded my purchase. I called after a week and they said it was back ordered and would take two weeks to get in. after three weeks I canceled my order but they made it very difficult. They pretended I didn't cancel it and tried to ship it anyway. The crazy thing is they didn't even have the order. They printed a shipping label but never sent anything. Luckily I was able to cancel through my credit card. these are some shady characters and I would definitely not trust them or purchase from them.

Would a legitimate business would sit on a canceled order for 11 days to refund a purchase for $27.59? No email confirmation of order cancellation, No email for phone call to customer service to verify refund, No email in regards to several requests made through *** requesting my Refund. I had to call the bank and make a claim just to get this Vendor to give my money back. I intended on making other purchases, but not after this fiasco. Beware of this vendor.

Like other reviewers, I would select 0 stars if I could. Placed order mid May, 3 items indicated in stock one with a 5-7 day delay. I was okay with that. Heard nothing till early June when I received email indicating order shipped. Received one week later (problem with carrier), one item was not in package. No explanation given on packing list. Called phone number, to check on order instruction was given to inquire via email. Choosing the other option upon calling again, I was told by person to submit email inquiry. I then sent inquiry from my phone and got a prompt reply indicating the remaining item would ship end of June. Imagine my surprise when I received an email mid June indicating the other item shipped. Unlike the first shipment this one arrived when indicated. In conclusion, would I order from this supplier again? NO.

Actually, if there were 0 stars to give, that's what I'd do. WARNING - do not order from this company. Each and every interaction, from the purchase, to receiving the wrong product, to trying to get information regarding sending product back, broken promises to call us back, broken promises to email us...was exhausting. Each phone call consisted of speaking with Rude Daniel, and once in awhile, he would lie, and say "he's not in", when I know full well I was speaking with him. He always sounded exasperated that we were trying to get our refund. Finally, a few weeks ago, we sent the product back via certified mail, which they have received via ***. Still no refund. Had to call our credit card company and file a dispute. Not sure how a business that has Rude Dishonest Daniel running the show could possibly be in business for 13 some years. Wish I would've read the reviews and saved myself a big headache.

Order placed with VSS on 1/. Items were listed as "in stock". Contacted seller 2 weeks later on 2/. Seller did get back with me with voicemail saying I would be getting tracking info that same week. It is now 2 weeks later again, 2/*** and still no tracking. Emailed seller. Did not respond. I opened dispute with PayPal on 2//20 asking for refund. Then the items were shipped on 2//20 and received on 3/*/2020. Problem now is only a portion of the order was shipped. I am still missing a portion of my order

Mid june after emailing these people nack and fortth cancelling order for a semi truck that i had to send on road . I ask for a return label 2 times. And a refund to my chase card. $302.80. They sent label i sent lights back ive receipt of shipment nack to Vehicle Safety Supply. They said theyd refund me once lights returned. We have written these people approx 35 emails demamding our moneg be refunded amd now i call cannot get noone on phone or hung up on and email respknse stopped july 6th i last them and no response. I just want my money back they received their lights back unopened in same box they arrived in.

On 12//20 I received an email from them indicating that the product I ordered has been discontinued through the manufacturer and that they will go ahead and cancel the order and refund my order. On 1/*/21 I sent an email to them indicating that I still have not seen the refund credited to my credit card used to make the order and that they were already paid through. John A from the company replied on 1/6 and stated that they cancelled the order on 1/*/21 and that it takes 2-3 days for the refund to go through. Today is 1//21 and I still have not been issued a refund from them and I am concerned after reading other peoples experience with this company. On June , at or around 13:14 CST a John A emailed from email address *** the email stated " ***" On July , at or around 16:24 cst I replied with the following email " thank you for the email and similar beacon suggestions, after further review of both beacons and other products available on your website I'm not longer interested in the beacon light. Since it was discontinued and not marked as such when ordered would it be possible to get a refund just on that beacon unit please? " No refund for the unit has been issued no other email communications have happened. I've called *** the sales and customer service line with no answer from a human being. Being a week has passed now with no contact I'm disappointed in the lack of integrity by this business and hope that you will be able too help.
