This place is the worst!
This place is the worst! So, I noticed a leak in my driveway and took my car here on November 15th. They gave me a quote to fix the problem and then tried to sell me other stuff. Two weeks later, I see another leak, so I bring my car back and they charge me almost $2,000 to fix the problem and some other things. I thought it was a good investment, but just one week later, there's an even bigger puddle in my driveway. I called them, but they didn't help at all. So, I asked my sister to call and they said they wouldn't talk to her about my car, even if I gave them permission on the phone, because of some confidentiality thing. They hung up on her too. The next day, we went together hoping to talk to someone, but they told us that leaks can happen for lots of reasons and it's my problem to figure it out and pay for it. The guy wouldn't even talk to us properly, he just walked away while talking. They had time to sell me stuff, but no time to discuss the fact that I paid over $2,000 and the problem is worse now. I wouldn't trust them with my bike at this point. Oh, and I have to give them at least one star, but I really want to give them nothing.
I ain't never takin' my Truck back to them
I ain't never takin' my Truck back to them. I got one of them fancy extended Warranties, ya know? I took my truck in 'cause I had to get the battery jumped to get it there. The battery wasn't that old, got it at some other shop that was far away from their shop. They told me they checked it all out. So they changed it and I left. 5 days later, the gage for the battery was showin' it wasn't chargin'. I took it back and they told me it was the Alternator. So I had 'em contact my *** and the warranty company told me there was a problem with the mileage. So I got my paperwork out from the past time I had the truck in, and they had put the wrong miles on the paperwork from when I had the truck in several months before. So when the *** checked with Car Fax, they told me that *** had to straighten it out. So when I went back to tell them why the Company wasn't gonna okay the service until they took care of the mileage, they had my truck overnight and it was the weekend and I couldn't be without my truck over the weekend. I told 'em I needed the truck, so I had another ***. I used it and told 'em I needed to talk to the manager or ***. He told me the manager was outta town and he couldn't give me Kerry's number. So I went back on Monday, talked to *** who said he was the manager. I explained what I was there for, the guy I had been dealin' with had told him about it. *** told me he would take care of it, but it would take some time and he would let me know. I would have to send some papers to CarFax, which I didn't understand 'cause they have all the paperwork on what they did to my truck. The warranty company told me it had to be straightened out before I could use the Warranty. I let a week and a half go by and I never heard anything from *** at Kerry's. So when I went back to talk to ***, he said I had to take care of it. I said, "Why? It was your guys' fault, not mine." I also told 'em that I thought they needed to pay me back since it was their fault that my Warranty wouldn't pay. He told me I had to get it from them 'cause it was covered under the Warranty, so they had to pay it. I will NEVER recommend Kerry's to anybody 'cause they don't know how to treat people fairly. They don't wanna do what's right when they're in the wrong.
I've been going to Kerry's Car Care at 67th and Happy Valley since they opened
I've been going to Kerry's Car Care at 67th and Happy Valley since they opened. For over three years, I've been buying the 5 oil pack in advance. This means they get to earn interest on the services I've already paid for. The service includes tire rotation. Sometimes, I thought they didn't rotate the tires even though they said they did on the invoice. To check, I started numbering my tires so I could confirm if they had been rotated or not. Several times, I caught them lying about rotating them when they actually hadn't. This caused me more inconvenience as I had to wait for them to actually rotate my tires. In March this year, while they were rotating the tires, they put the hubcap on incorrectly, pressing down on the valve stem. Right after I left their shop and was driving at 75 miles per hour on 1-17, my tire light came on, indicating low air. This carelessness could have caused my tire to blow out and my vehicle to roll over. I brought it to their attention and gave them another chance. As I mentioned before, I've been buying the 5 pack oil change package for over three years. Each time, I give them one of the cards and all the services (oil change and tire rotation) are paid for with the card. Today, a new employee named Andy served me. First of all, he really needs to improve his customer service skills. He was rude and obnoxious when he told me that because they are very slow and have low inventory, he would have to charge me for an extra quart of oil, something that I should have been paying for at each oil change. Unfortunately, this will be the last time I go to Kerry's Auto. There are many other options out there, and I'm sure they will provide better quality service at a similar price. Kerry's response is incorrect. After the first time I suspected they weren't rotating my tires, I started numbering them 1-4. In fact, I pointed it out several times, yet they were caught lying about completing the service multiple times, laughed about it, and then rotated the tires. The biggest mistake they made was when they rotated the tires and put the hubcap on the valve stem, causing air to escape from the tire. At 75 miles per hour on 1-17, my tire light came on. The tire could have blown out, the car could have rolled over, and serious injuries could have occurred. It's true that Kerry's provided a free oil change, but only because of their huge mistake and the near accident they caused. Finally, at my last appointment, I gave them two oil change cards instead of paying for the extra quart of oil.
I took my car in for an engine noise
I took my car in for an engine noise. They told me the top part of the motor needs to be rebuilt at a cost of $3600. Well, that's more than a replacement motor, but rather than shop around, I figured I would eat the nearly double the cost of what it should run and just get it fixed since it was there. At this time, my car didn't leak a drop of any fluid. I get the car back after they had it 5 days and immediately there is both oil and transmission fluid leaking. I call them and say I don't even want to drive it since it is leaking that bad. They come and pick it up and bring it back a couple of hours later saying it was fixed. Well, it is still leaking both fluids. This was mid-October . A couple of weeks later, I bring it back and say it is still leaking. They have me bring it back another day and claim it's fixed and it was a bad hose they reinstalled. Well, it's still leaking oil and transmission fluid. On 12/30, I take it in and they look it over and say it's now the valve cover gasket they just installed and I needed to come back tomorrow (12/31) and leave it for the day. So I drop it off on 12/31 and they said it would be 2-3 hours for the repair. Their sign shows they closed at 2 that day, so worst case it would be 2 pm. At 1:15 pm, I call and ask for a status update. They say they have another hour of work and then test drive, then clean the underside but will be ready by 2 pm. Huh? It's 1:15 pm already. At 4 pm that day, I get a text an Uber is on its way to pick me up. I get the car and don't drive anywhere (since now I missed out on my New Year's Eve plans) until New Year's day. I start driving and my transmission light comes on, which never had an issue prior. I cancel that day's plans and take the car home and search the internet for the issue. I found a broken vacuum line in the engine bay right by where they were working on the valve cover gasket. So I now take the car back to them on 1/3 when they reopen and show them the vacuum line they broke as well as told them it is still leaking oil. They now ask me to drop it off on Wednesday 1/5 and it will be fixed. It gets dropped off on 1/5 and end of day I go to pick it up and they tell me I now have to drop it off on Friday 1/7 and they will need it for 2 days and it will be done by the end of the day Saturday 1/8. So apparently nothing was done on Wednesday 1/5. I drop off the car on Friday at 8 am and was told by the manager it will be done no later than 5 pm Saturday and he will personally call me with an update on the progress. Well, I heard from nobody and finally at 4 pm Saturday I call to check the status. I had to leave a voicemail since nobody would answer the phone and of course, nobody called me back and clearly my car isn't ready again as promised. So now Monday morning (1/10) I call and they say hopefully by the end of the day today. I asked why wasn't I called as promised and why isn't it done as I was advised as well considering this is now the 6th time I have dropped off my vehicle for a leak that never existed before they worked on it. The guy said "it's a big job and we have other cars to work on." I was advised that is why they had me bring it back to them the 6th time on 1/7 was because they knew it was a big job and they knew it would take 2 days to fix. And apparently now it is the head gasket, which means they need to tear down the motor almost completely. They have continually overpromised and underdelivered. They have had me bring my vehicle in now 6 times for leaks that never existed before they rebuilt the motor at a cost which is double what other places would have charged me. This is beyond acceptable and they clearly do not care. One of the times I was there, a guy brought in his son's brake pads. Apparently, his son was told by Kerry's that he needed all new pads. The dad was clearly upset showing them the pads are perfectly good and told the manager he felt they were trying to pull a fast one on him. I would never take a vehicle here at all and not even for an oil change. When they rebuilt my motor, they had to do an oil change. Even the oil was overfilled by over a quart. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

I was ripped off!
I was ripped off! They charged me $150 for an oil change, they took almost 2 hours even though I had an appointment. They charged me $40 for a cabin air filter and $28 in labor to install it and it's in my glove box.

Paid $3,000 to Kerry’s for an engine rebuild after a rod bearing went, and a new $375 clutch in my student daughter’s Toyota pickup
Paid $3,000 to Kerry’s for an engine rebuild after a rod bearing went, and a new $375 clutch in my student daughter’s Toyota pickup. “We gave you a 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty!” I did not pay for a warranty. I paid for a engine rebuild. I’ve driven 11 hours, one way, and have taken time off work-TWICE to return it because they said they’re “going to make it right”. Oil pressure is still 12 psi @1100 rpm’s. Got the clutch! Motor is still bad.

I was recently having my truck serviced at Kerry's on West Olive
I was recently having my truck serviced at Kerry's on West Olive. All seemed good for 2 years or so. My transmission went out and I took it to a transmission shop. Before a test drive they checked the oil level and said it was 2 qts low. Truck does not leak or use oil so there would no reason for it to be low. I found out from the transmission shop it requires 7 qts of oil. When I picked up my truck at the transmission shop I checked my receipts I kept from Kerry's and it shows I paid for 5 qts of oil not 7. So when i called the manager was with someone and I called back an hour later and was told he has day off. Emails and text messages were sent and received. With the proof I have and the lies I was told, they shorted my V8 truck 2 qts of oil every oil change for 18,000 miles. Fortunately I dont drive hard or abuse my truck so no immediate damage to engine. But it was the response and total denial by them. No apology at all. I suggest you go somewhere else.

I left two reviews on their website outlining my negative experience
I left two reviews on their website outlining my negative experience. These have not been posted yet, and I doubt they will. Here has been my experience. I left my car off on 5/19 to remedy the AC not working and the thermostat being broken and producing an error code, as well as to get an oil change. I was called and received the price for these repairs, and agreed. When I picked my car up, I was satisfied with the repairs that were completed. Within an hour of getting home I noticed my car door locks wouldn’t operate from the outside, and I had to climb through the trunk of my car to get in. I immediately called Kerry’s about this, and was told that they had problems with the locks too, but had tried to call me. I don’t recall it getting mentioned when I did speak to somebody, or it being mentioned when I went to pick up my car. I left a review here on the website about not being notified about the door locks being inoperable after dropping my car off with Kerry’s. I receive a voicemail from the manager, Alex, on 5/24, to call him back about this. I’ve called back and been told by other employees he was busy or unable to talk. I finally got a hold of him on 5/28, and he said he would look into the issue for me, and call me back. I have not yet heard back from him, but I’ve been calling him back to follow up, and kept being told by other employees that he was busy or unavailable, and that he would call me back “as soon as he was done”. Yesterday, 6/2, I was told by one of the employees, that they had, in fact, mentioned the locks being inoperable when I dropped off the car, and that they had the phone call recordings to back themselves up. I personally have no recollection of the inoperable door locks being mentioned, and would love to hear the recordings to refresh my memory. As it stands, I’m still waiting for a call back from Alex to discuss my inoperable door locks, but I’ll believe it when it happens. Judging by other reviews, poor communication by the manager, Alex, seems to be a trend. I should have trusted the other negative reviews more!

At about 3/12/2022, I took my car to Kerrys to fix a problem with the AC leaking. It turns out that the brake fluid reservoir was in a bad position, causing fluid to leak into the belt and tensioner area. They replaced these parts by the next business day. The AC system worked fine for about a week until it broke again on the 24th. They found a small hole in the hoses and patched it up, but they also decided to replace the water pump. This decision was made by the manager, not the experienced technicians. My car stayed in the shop for two to three days, so I had to use rideshares to go to and from work. I will provide more details.

Price Gouging Customers - Please Investigate for Unethical Business Practices Every time I go to this place for an oil change they call me and state so many other things are wrong with my vehicle. I've had to be financed at least 6 times in the past year from them fabricating issues with my vehicle for repairs. I've dealt with Devlin, and Greg in the past and they do not seem to practice ethical business. Once customers are approved through *** they come back with more repairs . Today I was initially quoted $1200, then after they saw what I was approved for they called me back saying I had an additional $600 of work that needed to be done. This is every time I go to them for a simple oil change. I go because of conveniently located to my home.
Auto repair place lied to me bout what work was needed on my car
Auto repair place lied to me bout what work was needed on my car. After I went there for an oil change, they gave me a big list of repairs that had to be done. The next day I went to a really good garage for a second opinion. This garage told me that I didn't need to replace 4 motor mounts, just one, and that there was no leak from my rack & pinion unit. Also, my hoses and struts were fine. Kerry's wanted to charge me at least $2,500, but Toyo Works said it would only cost $800. Kerry's did a quick 10-15 minute inspection while the second shop did a thorough 1 hour inspection. These kind of garages that try to sell you more stuff make people nervous when they bring their cars in. The bottom line is that the guys at Kerry's are not honest. Thanks.

to the exterior of our vehicle that was not there before
to the exterior of our vehicle that was not there before. We were quite upset about this and immediately called Kerry's Car Care to inform them of the issue.
Unfortunately, the customer service representative we spoke to seemed uninterested and dismissive of our concerns. They simply brushed off our complaint and told us to bring the car back in for them to take a look. We were frustrated by this response, as it seemed like they were not taking responsibility for the damage caused.
When we brought the car back to Kerry's Car Care, we had to wait for over an hour before someone finally came to assess the damage. The person who looked at our car seemed rushed and unprofessional, barely taking the time to listen to our explanation of what had happened. They quickly determined that the damage was indeed their fault and said they would fix it.
However, the repair process took much longer than expected. We were told it would only take a couple of days, but it ended up taking almost a week. During this time, we had to rely on alternative transportation and it was quite inconvenient for us.
Finally, when we got our car back, the exterior damage had been fixed, but we noticed that there were some new scratches on the interior as well. It was frustrating to see that they had not taken proper care of our vehicle during the repair process.
Overall, our experience with Kerry's Car Care was extremely disappointing. The lack of communication, unprofessionalism, and damage caused to our vehicle made us question their competence and reliability. We will not be returning to this establishment in the future and would not recommend it to others.
I took my car to Kerry's Car Care cuz it was runnin' rough when it was just sittin' there
I took my car to Kerry's Car Care cuz it was runnin' rough when it was just sittin' there. They did some repairs and charged me 'bout $2355.06. They kept sayin' it would be fine after drivin' a few miles. But I got it back twice and it smelled like burnt oil, made me sick, and still jerked when it was just sittin' there. I kept takin' it back, they kept doin' quick fixes, and I kept tryin'. BUT IT'S STILL RUNNIN' ROUGH WHEN IT'S JUST SITTIN' THERE! Recently, I went back and asked 'em to just PLEASE fix it. The lady who says she's the boss was waitin' for me. She tried to say I told 'em it was all good... NOT TRUE! She said it was in their notes, but she wouldn't give me a copy, so I reckon she added it after I left. All she wanted to do was argue, so I said I'm gonna report 'em... and that's exactly what I'm doin'... THEY ONLY DO THE BARE MINIMUM REPAIRS EACH TIME JUST TO KEEP US COMIN' BACK AND NEVER REALLY FIX THE PROBLEM... NOT RIGHT!
I brought my vintage Corvette to Kerry's Car Care in Norterra for a differential repair, as recommended by a friend
I brought my vintage Corvette to Kerry's Car Care in Norterra for a differential repair, as recommended by a friend. They asked me to bring the parts since they had limited resources for older vehicles. I provided the new differential, and they charged me $1146.08 for the labor. However, the repair was not done properly, and they attempted to fix it multiple times over the next year by adding more parts. Unfortunately, the issue was never resolved, so they agreed to let me take it to another shop for repairs and promised to cover the cost.
I had the vehicle towed to a specialized Automotive shop as per my request. They fixed the vehicle by replacing the fluid in the differential and addressing spindle, axle shaft, and brake problems, all of which were part of Kerry's Car Care's initial repair. The total cost of the repairs at the specialized Automotive shop was $1940.04. When I asked Kerry's Car Care for reimbursement, they refused to pay because I had provided the part. They never informed me beforehand that they wouldn't cover additional costs if I supplied the part, even though the part itself was not defective.
In conclusion, Kerry's Car Care asked me to bring the part, but they failed to mention that they wouldn't cover additional expenses in such cases. The part I provided was not faulty, yet they did not reimburse me for the repairs done at the specialized Automotive shop.
Kerry's Car Care did NOT fix the problems with our Jeep Wrangler (service done on December 23) that we paid for
Kerry's Car Care did NOT fix the problems with our Jeep Wrangler (service done on December 23) that we paid for. We brought the car back 2 weeks ago and they said they would fix it. Many days passed with no updates from the shop. When we contacted them, they said, yeah there ain't anything we can do, you can come get your car. But we already paid them in December to fix the issues (driver side heat and driver side chair heat)! They also told us that the mechanic who supposedly fixed the problems (total service cost was $1699.97) was no longer working there because he had family problems that affected his work. So, the employee had documented performance problems, got fired/quit because of it, my car is NOT fixed, yet I had to pay for it?! I tried contacting the manager, but she said she was available and asked who was calling. I told her my name and why I was calling. She put me on hold and then came back asking for my number, saying she'll call me back. She never did. I filled out a request on their company's site to talk to someone; no response. Please, I'm just asking for the repairs we paid for to be done. Why tell me what the problem was back in December, give me a price for the repairs, and now that I've paid and it's still not fixed, you say you can't fix it?! Please do the right thing. $1700 is a lot of money. It may not be a big deal to you/your company, but it is to us. Thank you.
They said the top part of the motor needed to be rebuilt for $3700
They said the top part of the motor needed to be rebuilt for $3700. I just wanted it fixed and was willing to pay the high amount to get my vehicle fixed and back on the road. I picked up the vehicle on 10/23. I picked up the truck and it's leaking oil and some fluid. Before the work, the vehicle never leaked any fluid. They picked up the truck an hour or so later and brought it back saying it's fixed. Well, it was still leaking both fluids, so I went back to Kerry's. They had me schedule a day to drop it off, and when I picked it up, they claimed it's fixed again and it was a hole in a line, but it's still leaking fluids. So I went back to Kerry's on 12/30 with an appointment, and they told me they need me to come back on 12/31 and drop it off, and they'll have it completed within 2-3 hours. I dropped it off on 12/31 at 8am and assumed it would be done by 2pm since they close at 2 that day. Well, at 1:15pm, I still don't hear from them, so I call and they tell me it will be done by 2pm. Finally, at 4pm, I get a text that a ride is coming to get me, so again, no communication, but I assume the truck is done. So on 1/1, I try to drive the truck and now my transmission light is on. I search for the cause and track the root of the problem. They broke a vacuum line in the engine bay and the truck is still leaking oil. So now they ask me to drop it off on 1/5 for the day. At the end of the day, they say they need it for 2 days, so drop it off on Friday 1/7 and it will be done on 1/8. Well, nobody calls me on 1/8, so I call and leave a message, but no one returns my call. I check on Monday and they tell me it's torn apart and they have other cars they're working on, not just mine. I said I was told it would be done on Saturday. Finally, on Tuesday, I call and they say it was done on Monday? No communication, terrible service, and I still don't know if this issue is resolved.

I have been a customer of Kerry's Car Care at 67th and Happy Valley since they opened. For more than three years, I have prepaid / purchased the 5 oil pack. This means they get to earn interest on the services I have prepaid. The service includes rotation of the tires. Several times I thought they had not rotated the tires; even though they indicated so on the invoice. To verify, I started numbering my tires, so I would be able to confirm if the tires had been rotated or not. Several times I caught them lying about having rotated them when had not, causing me to be further inconvenienced while waiting for them to actually rotate my tires. In March this year, while rotating the tires, they installed the hubcap incorrectly, pressing down on the valve stem. Right after leaving their store, while driving on 1-17 at 75 miles per hour, my tire light went on indicating low air. This sloppiness could have caused my tire to blow out and the vehicle to roll over. I brought it to their attention and gave them another chance. As I said earlier in my review, I have been purchasing the 5 pack oil change package for over three years. Each time I present one of the cards and all services (oil change and tire rotation) are paid in full with the card. Today, a new employee named Andy waited on me. First off, he really needs to work on his customer service skills; He was rude and obnoxious while informing me that because they are very slow, and inventory is down, he was going to have to charge me for an extra quart of oil, something that I should have been paying at each oil change. Unfortunately, this is the last time I will patronize Kerry's Auto. There are lots of options out there, and I am sure they will provide a better quality service at a comparable price. The response from Kerry's is incorrect. After the first time I suspected they were not rotating my tires, I started to number them 1 -4. In fact, it was pointed out several times, and yet they were caught lying about completing the service many times, laughed about it, and then rotated the tires. The biggest mistake they made is when they rotated the tires, and placed the hubcap on the valve stem, causing air to escape from the tire. At 75 miles per hour on 1-17, my tire light went on. The tire could have blown out, car rolled over and serious injury. It is correct the Kerry's provided a free oil change, But only because of their huge error and almost causing an accident. Finally at the last appointment, I produced two oil change cards in place of the extra quarter of oil being charged.
