I made an online appointment for the salon. Four days before my appointment an Ulta employee by the name of Hannah called and said she had questions about what exactly I wanted. I explained to her that I wanted two dutch braids. My original appointment was scheduled for Wednesday October 16 at 10:30 am. She asked if I could come in later and I said no that was the only time I had available. She then asked if I could come in at 10:15 I said yes. I arrive to my appointment and the stylist that is there says she doesn't do braiding. I informed her that I spoke with Hannah and explained to her exactly what I wanted done. She goes on to say that she was just filling in for someone. I ask to speak with a manager. The manager by the name of Veronica comes in and I explain the situation. She looks into the computer and says that my appointment had been canceled . I explain to her that no one ever contacted me to cancel and that I was there now so what can she do. Her only solution is to ask me if I can come in at a later time. Once again I explain to her that I had to get a babysitter to be able to come to this appointment, this is the only time I have. She apologizes and says that's all she can do. I 'am a mother of three children. When I make an appointment for anything there are steps I have to make to be able to be there. My time is very valuable. I also just opened up an Ulta Ultimate Rewards credit card that I will now be closing. I will not contribute to a company who is incompetent and does not value their customers. I will take my business elsewhere.
