Around 12:40pm I stopped for gas, I added about $17.03 to my tank. By 1pm I was trying to do my laundry, and found I had an insufficient funds notice on my bank card, I called my bank to find there was a pending charge from the shell station near my home, Locust st, Dover NH for over 80 dollars...unaware of the Shell charge hold policy that was stated via automated phone when I called the customer service number provided by the company...I called the station, as I was told to do by my bank. My bank explained that it is not a hold but actually a pending charge...meaning it will be processed unless I dispute it...I called the station directly, only to talk with the worse attendant I've ever had to speak with, she was vague, told me it's probably a hold, explained it happens, happened to her and took a week to resolve...and when I asked to speak with a manager or supervisor she yelled at me and hung up the phone, stating I can call in the morning. She was not only very unprofessional, but also incredibly rude to someone who is out over 80 dollars! Right before Christmas, right when it is so inconvient and as I am trying to access that money...suffice to say if this matter isn't resolved and the charge is completed as my bank wanted...I will be disputing the charge, as well as seeking some sort of action for the attendant spoke of above. This is absolutely ridculous. Merry Christmas.
