This store is an embarrassment to the neighborhood. There is garbage littered everywhere and waist-high weeds surrounding the building and parking lot. The lack of property care is now encouraging rat infestation. The Owner should contract with a local landscaper/ maintenance company for routine oversight & clean up of this business, as the rest of the businesses and homeowners do. It is a disgrace.
Desired outcome: Clean up the garbage and trim the weeds. Routinely!!!
Family Dollar - I'm constantly being harassed and disrespected
I've been going in family dollar for many years, I've never had an associate yell at me and be very disrespectful over not wearing a mask. This is everytime I go in family dollar on MCLEAN me and my daughter are harrassed I told the manager soaul and Sharon who currently work there I have a medical issue with wearing a mask and so does my daughter and they both replied back they don't care we gave to wear it or we can't shop in the store. This is very disheartening to me and I've explained numerous amount of times if something happens to me or my daughter because you are not adhering to the Governor's executive order this store will be liable Sharon and soaul replies are they cant help me we still have to wear the mask like everyone does, Sharon also told the cashier's there do not check me out and soaul told the employees at Mclean family dollar dont let me in the store with out a mask even thought I've told him numerous amount of times I can't medically tolerate it, so I ask the someone please get involved and oversee this because at this point these to supervisor's or manager's are abusing their position, thank you I can be reached at [protected], my Name is Rhonda, thank you,
Please contact the family dollar 180 Mclean Avenue 10705 Yonkers NY and please explain to your employees mask are not to be forced, especially if its not medically tolerated, And this is also against my human rights, as well as a Violation of my first Amendment rights,
Family Dollar - policy for employee vs customer rights
On November 11, 2019 I went to the 180 Mclean location I filled my cart with 97.00 worth of merchandise got to the register and realized I forgot my wallet which was left on my dining room table. I clearly said to the cashier " I am so sorry I will be right back please hold my merchandise."
I left the store at 9:10pm arrived back to pick up my merchandise at 9:20 maybe 9:25 the latest. I said I'm back where is my stuff she blatantly said " oh I put it back". I said what, I told you I was coming right back-and I said where is the supervisor who was standing right there before and after I left . She said well people do this all the time- I said you should not put put a basis of people do this all the- there should be some type of protocol in place. Meanwhile she never looked at me she talked to me while writing very disrespectful not using any customer service skills.
Let me tell you something in order for your store to be successful you must apply good customer service. The supervisor was rude the stock was rude the cashier was rude. Nobody smiles or even tries to help you . Now I live only 6 min away. I work for the City of Yonkers for 39 years.
I also work for the Mayors office. My name is Roseanne Bannister, 34 Wolffe Street, Yonkers NY 10705. What I'd like to see is better customer service at this location. Just because I was treated very disrespectfully and my job is to help everybody in the City of Yonkers I feel I must take this complaint further. Please address this issue immediately.
