Bob Evans

My friend and I were just in Bob Evans early afternoon Monday 10/9/23 around 12:00. We had to wait a little while to be seated. When we finally got seated. The server came to take our drinks and she brought our drinks. She then took our order. Over a half hour went by and I noticed everyone else had gotten their food but us. Some of them had the same server as us. I finally got her attention and asked her about our food. First she said they were still working on it. I then told her it has been over a half hour. She said she would check. Another 5 minutes another server, and not the original server, came to our table and told us that our food order had been slided. I tried to ask her what she meant. She never really gave me a good answer. I just took it the other server didn't turn in our order. What really upset me was that they let us sit there and the original server didn't come back to our table. The other server told us she was new. We didn't know that. She then said everyone makes a mistake. That's true but you own up to it. She knew I was upset so she really shouldn't have said that. Then she said the drinks were free. Well they messed up on the food order and not the drinks. Not very good customer service.
