McDonald's - Racist store manager at 3611 crater lake hwy medford oregon mer# 602124

I placed my order. Was waiting a long time for my order as was other customers.

No one provided feedback on progress in filing order. I waited some more and still no order. I got the attention of the manager and request that he issue a credit for what I ordered. He said he only had 3 people. I said he should have told me when I placed the order, but he didn't. He became agitated and started talking in a loud tone. He started to go into his personal problems and started with the racial references. One was where he said "you people" come in and expect immediate service. I am sure you tape your transactions. You should pull the tape and use it as a training tool on how not to treat customers. The tape will show that his actions toward me were those of a racist. He received a call while processing my credit. He stopped taking care of me and was focused on the call. I said "how about taking care of my credit first". He said something about his being to multitask even though he wasn't. The whole experience was unpleasant for me and should be avoided at all costs. After I exited the store he slammed the door shut. I am surprised he didn't break the glass. I'll mention there were 5 other customers in the area I was in. I am sure this situation wasn't pleasant for the either.

All he had to do when I first started ordering is saying he's understaffed and the order will take longer than usual at which time I could have left or been prepared to wait longer than usual. He didn't. He lacked both management and people skills and should refrain from making racist comments regardless of circumstances.

Desired outcome: retrain on management skills, refresher on people skills, and the consequences when making racist comments.
