I use to love my rite aid and pharmacy but around the 1st of May the entire staff changed. The worst is the pharmacy. I got phone notifications that my refil was ready but when I would call to confirm no one would answer the phone, I called for an entire week 3 times a day. I went in the store thinking the phone was broke and waited in the slowest longest line and my medicine was not ready still. The staff was moving very slow and their attitudes were uncaring. I'm worried about my next prescription and if il get it timely or not to this day the rite aid is still not operating smoothly
Desired outcome: I would just like for the staff to perform their job efficiently like the previous staff did. They don't seem like they want to be there or know what they're doing
Rite Aid - Pharmacy dept
I went to pick my prescriptions yesterday afternoon. My physician called in a prescription for me as well. When I arrived, I inquired about the prescription which my doctor called in. I was told to wait in the sitting area. There were other people waiting in the area, not sitting 6 feet apart. I waited 20 minutes before inquiring about my prescription. I was told then my doctor did not call it in. I immediately, contacted my doctor who assured me that indeed a script was sent to the pharmacy. I was mad at this point! Again, I inquired about my prescription which again I was told it wasn't called in. The pharmacy department didn't bother to check the system thus making me wait in unsafe conditions for almost 30 minutes. Yes, I was pissed off, and yes used profane language because this situation did not make any sense. Only then, they responded informing my prescription plan didn't cover the cost of the medication. Why not tell the truth instead of lying and making me wait?
I called yesterday to report this incident and as of yet have hear back from Regional Manager. This is the second time I have complained about the unprofessional services I received from the Pharmacy Department from this location. I like Rite Aid and would like to continue to utilize it services but I can't at this City Avenue location. I refused to be inconvenienced and lied to.
I am trying Rite Aid one time time at a different location. If I continue to experience problems, I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau & take my business elsewhere.
I hope this situation will be rectified so that others will not be inconvenienced or lied to during this time. I realize things are hectic during the recent events which took place in West Philadelphia but still, consideration and honesty needs to come in to play when dealing with customers
