I received injections from a specialty pharmacy and a point of delivery is CVS. I wanted CVS in Lakesite, TN.
My first delivery to them was a nightmare as they received the injection but no one knew where it was and kept telling me it was not at the pharmacy. We got it figured out (they did have it there) and though it was upsetting, I let it go as it was the first delivery. The next 4 deliveries were good, no problem.
This last delivery I had not heard from CVS so I called them the day after the medicine was due to be delivered. I spoke with Ryan, asked him to check if my injection med had arrived yet (if not, I was not sure if the error was on the specialty pharmacy or CVS. First thing, I went through the exact same issue as the first delivery. They had my address as an old one (we had updated that) and started telling me that I had been given the flu vaccine from another store altogether. I told him that is absolutely not true as I get vaccines from my doctor, not CVS. He proceeded to tell me that, yes I did. That was taking me over the edge. He went to look for the order, came back and said that he checked the fridge and it was not there, they had not received it. I said okay, let me call the pharmacy just to verify what they did.
The specialty pharmacy tried calling the store, which he kept getting back on the phone with me and said that no one is picking up but he was going to keep trying. I knew what he meant. That is the worst business I have EVER tried to reach. Horrible service.
I then called CVS back, spoke with Ryan again and told him that it was verified that CVS had received the delivery. Ryan went to look in fridge again and guess what?! He said it was there in a unlabeled brown bag.
That was it for me... I told him that he should have questioned that bag before and definitely do not tell ME that it is unlabeled. I mentioned to him how I did not appreciate him lying to me about looking for the med and that he and CVS is not customer service friendly. CVS needs to be more transparent with what their intentions are with customers. If customers are not that important to the company, just say so. Tell us we don't matter to you and we can go elsewhere.
Ryan speaks for CVS, and if that is acceptable practices, then I can get my med elsewhere along with all the other shopping I do there. This CVS is convenient for me but do not take me as an idiot. Train your people that represent YOU. They do dumb things it is because you have FAILED them tremendously. They take the brunt of your failures, you don't.
I hope you do correct these horrible actions and you reinforce your employees with a positive environment to work in. People deserve that unless they fail themselves, but why would a large corporation want to fail your employees.
Desired outcome: I would like to know that I am not going to be lied to anymore and when UPS says they delivered a package and "Stacy" signs for it, there should be a procedure in place with what to do with pharmacy packages.
