Having been hired few months back while i physically can only do so much due to limitations and have been transparent on a recent tragedy in personal life I had to work through and needed to take care of but focused on the new job as best I can in spite of harassment and more I been overlooking the behavior now makes me remember because I was asked to come in late last night to sign for specific trainings online by a higher up manager then asked to come in few hours later in the morning to be told I am going to be criminally charged in spite of my transparency was lead on by a lie and was given no chance to defend myself or point where it was not accurate and I asked for some more detail and he called the police because he said he felt unsafe. I have had history of anything like this and the store being in a huge deficit taking it all out on someone and he said he has been watching me and the whole store was nearly rearrange the discussion was specifically where there was no camera or proof. I am autistic and have ptsd so this was overwhelming and unfair. Plus not to mention I worked 2 weeks there with no phone when my phone didn’t work and only had a phone again after my dad just passed away I have his phone but the phones there never worked. That had some scary situations working alone day or night. There are continuous turnovers I notice for random reasons and I suppose I got into a dangerous situation when taking the job but they need some real looking into and trying to call any corporate has been a runaround. Now something serious he wasn’t clear about can be charged on me when I had no record before? Something isn’t right in that place and it’s not a first but I’ll do what I can take care of this from my end but I can’t find anyone to reach at the higher up level but I will see what other options I have. It’s just a bit of a shock at the moment it happened this morning.
Desired outcome: Someone to listen to my side that can be fair
Circle K - customer service
Monday night at around 7:30pm, I went to buy some drinks as well as put $15.00 of gas into my car, I was at pump 2. Well, when I got to my destination I realized I forgot to actually pump the gas (I paid in the store). I went in later on that night, about 1:30am and the gentleman told me to go in the morning because a manager wasn't present. I asked what time, he said 7:30am and that her name was Blanca. I called in the morning about 9am and spoke to someone who said they were a manager but didn't give me a name. I let her know my situation and she said she had to check for overages and placed me on hold for a few minutes. In the end, she said I would be able to go in to get the money, I told her I would be there around 1 and then later called and said I wouldn't be able to until 6pm. She said that was fine and she would let "Veronica" know. I got there about 6:15pm and spoke with Blanca who said the most she could do was take down my name and number and call me with a solution because she saw there weren't any overages and that she can't be held liable for me not pumping the gas. I understood I may not have been able to get the gas and that it was my responsibility, however that was the reason I called in the first place. I asked her if she could do anything just simply of the fact that her employee gave me false information. I understand I have to be responsible for my gas, but the company should be responsible for their employees and I am extremely unhappy with Blanca and this store in general. It wouldn't have been a huge issue if the first girl, whoever she is, wouldn't have told me that I would be able to get that money back. But the fact that Blanca said no after her employees/assistant manager said Yes earlier in the day is just bad customer service. Your managers need to make sure their employees know the policies to keep these types of situations from happening.
My advice for Circle K is, "Be more particular of the people you hire; especially, those who don't pay attention to the customer standing in front of them." I live in Columbus, GA. The Circle K employee that I am complaining about is one who works at the one on the corner of 12th Avenue/18th Street. She is a black woman who looks like she has no front upper teeth. She says her name is Maria. She has messed my requests up twice now and has said it was my fault and not hers. The first time she messed my lottery purchases up and I ended up with the wrong tickets, plus she over printed up to $10 extra in tickets ( the gentleman behind me took them and paid for them). All because she didn't know what she was doing and didn't want to wait for the man who was working with her to get back from doing trash run. Tonight (2/4/19), I went in at 6:47:44 P.M., and purchased 5 $3 Uno scratchers...that went okay. But then I asked for 3 White Owl Peach swisher sweets cigarillos. I repeated myself 3 different times. She was talking to the man standing beside the ATM and messing with the lottery register that kept spitting out slips when she grabbed the cigarillos and asked "These?" Again, I repeated, White Owl Peach. She rang up my purchase. I walked outside and sat in my car and scratched off my tickets, and when I cranked the car, I reached for the cigarillos and realized they were the wrong ones. I went in to swap them, only to be told they couldn't. Besides, that was what I asked for. She refused to give me her full name or employee number. I'm sure I am NOT the only one she has done this to...I advice anyone that if they walk into THAT Circle K and you see "Toothless Maria" is behind the counter, turn and leave...or stay and get sc***ed.
