I am writing to formally address an issue I experienced during my recent stay at a Vacasa-managed property in the Florida Keys, reserved through Airbnb.

The issue began with a discriminatory response to my service dog, despite its protection under the ADA. A property manager refused to communicate via the Airbnb platform, claiming no affiliation with Airbnb, and escalated the situation unnecessarily by involving the sheriff.
In addition, the dog alerted a rodent intrusion in the yard, causing a noise disturbance, which was a direct response to the property condition. This seems to have further exacerbated the situation, despite being unrelated to my compliance as a guest.
Resolution Requested
I am requesting to be left alone for the remainder of my stay and not be harassed further unless there are valid concerns beyond the rodent intrusion and the resulting noise disturbance. I expect to enjoy the property as agreed under the terms of my reservation.
Actions Taken
• I have requested communication through the Airbnb platform, but this has been ignored.
• I have documented all interactions, including correspondence and sheriff involvement, as evidence of unprofessional conduct.

Chris Bellessimo, Project Manager with Hooper Construction, at 421 North Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301, [protected], has been identified by the property manager as the owner of the property and the individual persisting in the discrimination against my service dog.
The property manager's claim of no association with Airbnb contradicts the booking details and raises significant concerns about the handling of this property. Furthermore, the continued insistence that I vacate the property due to the presence of my service dog is a violation of ADA protections and constitutes ongoing harassment.
