Valuepest review: Dishonest contracts and sales

Had door to door sales canvass my neighborhood. I felt comfortable with the person so I asked them to treat the house. I was told that there were no long term contracts and that the services were provided month to month, and that I would only get billed for as long as I used their services. Fast forward and I purchase a new home, having not had problems with their services thus far, I asked them to treat the new house, and I began paying 2 service fees as I had 2 houses using their services. When my old home sold, I called in to ask that they discontinue my service at the old address and was informed that I have to pay out a year long contract... At both houses...

I actually really liked their services and their techs, but this is just dishonest business, especially when they collect an up front fee too.
