Acai Berry fraud withdrew more money

this company appears w/nature cleanse(purenutrients), as backed by oprah & rachal ray shows, as well as cnn & nbc for weight loss. Acai Berry Supplement-herbal tech support offers 14-day trial -pay shipping only $3.99 up front. No addl charges if cancelled w/n 14days of order placement. if not $82.31 charged. this company instead debited the full amt up front. I called to cancel next day less than 6 hrs from order Ordered 11pm PST from NJ. Refused 2 cancel d/t pkg shipped already. Called my bank disputed charge. Bank personnel had same experience. my bank closed my debit card/ordered new one & w/held pymt. Acai has chrgs still pending told me until they get pkg bk. Today pkg left @ my door by UPS. c/b UPS 2 p/u pkg I didnt sign 4. verified shpmt date. Acai lied pkg hadn't been shpd when they said. c/b Acai 2 inform pkg refused rts by UPS. 3 xs hung-up on. They use [protected] on website, [protected] w/my bank & [protected] on pkg i refused. My bank personnel informed me she 2 ordered they wouldn't cancel, kept charging, sending more products and each time called given new number she was suppose to cancel by calling. I am reporting them 2 better business bureau, consumer affairs and whoever else i can think of and sending emails to oprah, rachel ray, nbc & cnn.

I was just charged $78.00 for another shipment and the company did not want to cancel my subscription. I will be contacting my bank as well to ensure that I am not charged for any further products from this company. Please read the small print because this company will continue to bill you and send their products with confirmation slips but require you to provide them with a confirmation number.

Thank you for posting the phone numbers. I have emailed them 3 times before trial period ended with no response. Now trial period over and I'm afraid I will be charged the full price. When I called the guy tried to tell me how to take the pills, that I needed to take them 1hr after eating breakfast and dinner then go for a 15 min walk each time. I too got the website name from Oprah and Rachel Ray. I'll see what happens with the charges.

Acai Berry FREE TRIAL OFFER

I SIGNED UP FOR FREE TRIAL (ONLY) ACAI BERRY AND BROMOLITE ALSO CHARGED OVER $300.00 ON MY CREDIT. THE ONLY CHARGE TO ME WAS SUPPOSED TO BE 4.95 FOR SHIPPING OF EACH PRODUCT.
THIS IS NOT FAIR. MANY PEOPLE, AND SENIORS ARE ON A FIXED INCOME AND CAN NOT AFFORD PURCHASES LIKE THE ONE ABOVE. IN ADDITION, I TRIED THE PRODUCE FOR A WEEK AND IT DID NOT WORK.

THANK YOU,

Its a scam, I signed up for a free trial and before I had a chance to even try it, I was charged nearly $100 for a sample that was suppose to be free. Apparently, the fine print says you have 14-days FROM THE DAY YOUR ORDER to cancel your "subscription". It's a scam buyer BEWARE!

Acai Berry False advertisement

I ordered the product and recieved more than what was advertised on the internet ad. Not only was I sent more but I was charge for something that I did not order. The very first day that I recieved the product I called and cancelled for that reason. I was told that no matter what, whether I sent it back before the payment was granted through my bank, they were going to still take the money out of my account and that I will recieve a refund in thirty days. Not only did I not want what they sent or even open what I had, but there was an invoice stating that as of June they were going ship me more and take more money out of my account. I cancelled my order and instructed them not to send me any more. So now I have to place a cancellation from there company so that my bank will not release any funds to them. I have not and will not try the product to even see if it works even though the custome rep. told me I can send back empty bottles. Joke!

Acai Berry acaiberry/scam

My experiance is like a novel.I will try to make it short. I went online to research acaiberry, because I watched Oprah's show and dr oz was on & he was talking about acaiberry. I chose one of the sites (there were many). I didn"t like the terms and I certainly couldn"t afford it, so I closed the site. The very next day I got a call from the companyand they wanted to know why I didn"t order. I told them I really couldn"t afford it and I didn"t like automatic shipping. They told me to order and take the free bottles to try, but when I received the acaiberry to just cancel the order. I said are you sure I wont have any problems? They assured me I wouldn't. I received the 2 free bottles of acaiberry. When I called the telephone # they had on the invoice they told me that I had to return the 2 free bottles of free acaiberry. I was to say the least I was extremely P... Off and I really told them how I felt I should have saved my breath. Sooo I had to go to the Post Office and pay to send this acaiberry back to them and I really didn"t want to order in the first place.Then...I received my bank statement, not only was the postage taken out there was a charge of $88.55. I called my bank, told them my story and I am in the process of trying to solve this. I intend to report them to "BBB" and calling a TV station to tell them my story. Only so I can put it out there, so others don"t get scamed.

Ms Vestal:

Upon further research, it seems like we received our two bottles of the Acai Berry Edge before your billing day, so you were never billed $79.90 for the product. Your autoshipments were also cancelled.

If you need anything else please feel free to contact us.

You people are idiots, since when is something truly free in america, You are all just taken over by the word FREE and see a small price of 3.97, how to you think the economy is suppose to work, give you free bottles and hope you'll order again, no you cheap ### are attempting to scam them in a sense with your "i'll purchase a free TRAIL" and that's that...and mind you it's a free trail not a free product. The T&C are clearly stated on the website, and I'm sure you all sit and argue your wonderful excuses on why you don't pay. See I'm smart, I read the term and conditions because I'm savvy enough to use the internet safely and know what I'm doing, and the entire internet works in this way, if your not use to it, maybe you shouldn't be on it, or better yet, make it "child proof" for your costly mistakes. Poor you, poor all of you with your lame excuses...Terms and conditions are given on the web and on all the paper work provided, if you can't read your bad, not theres! I think your all just a bunch of boo hoo babies, the exact same people I would expect to be ordering online with your diability checks and your fixed income when you shouldn't be ordering at all...that'll teach ya!

Acai Berry Scam on free offer-charged me for something I didn't order

Saw the free offer for Acai Berry Edge to help lose weight and cleanse your body of toxins, etc. I should have done a search BEFORE I ordered this free offer. If I had done so, I would have steered clear of it! The old adage, there is NOTHING free in this world, it always costs you something.
The free offer should have cost $3.97 for postage, then they offer you additional bottles for x amount of dollars, I kept clicking on "No thanks" and then they offered a product called Carb Matrix, again I clicked on "No thanks" several times, it was a buy 2 get 1 free offer and I kept clicking "Ho thanks".
Then instead of giving you a chance to review your order, you get a page showing your order is already processed and submitted. No way to back out, so they think. I did get an email from NutraLane showing my free offer would cost $63.91. I sent them an email asking that they please cancel this order as I didn't order the products. Of course, a while later the email comes back, no such email address.
I called my credit card bank, and they said they are receiving a LOT of calls on NutraLane or GNS on this same complaint. They also said, NutraLane is collecting all info on my credit card, etc. to start ID Theft.
YIKES! all on an innocent free offer on an Acai Berry product that is really supposed to work.
BEWARE! Do a Google search before you fall for this free offer scam.

The first charge was for $63.91 NutraLane EdgeElite services and I got credit for that one. And the second was $79.90 - I wrote the wrong amount. But nevertheless, whatever you are calling yourselves, or which sister companies you are using, both charges say NutraLane Edge Elite services, and it does no good to call you on that same number-I already did the first time and you charged me the second time for another charge which I did not make.
Chase Bank gave me credit for both amounts and your Visa bank will be charged for that amount. I am not calling you again, as it does no good! I would hope that there will NOT be a 3rd charge!
I never got either one of the supposed orders and I don't want them after you pulled this kind of thing on me. I can live without it, thank you.

Update by Grace
Jun 04, 2009 3:55 pm EDT

Hi again: the above comment is right on! I called my Visa bank and they contacted NutraLane's Visa bank and today I got credit for something I didn't order NOR did I even get. Credited $63.91. Also today, I rec'd ANOTHER email saying they were once again charging me for now a 21 day free trial $89.95 and I didn't order this either. I called my Visa bank, they told me I was credited today for $63.91 and they put a TOTAL block on NutraLane for NO more charges from this company and if they do, it goes against their Visa bank agreement and they certainly wouldn't want to do that. Then they couldn't scam us innocent people who just want to live healthier and try a risk-free FREE trial. HUH! NEVER again! I've learned my lesson.
I hope Oprah Winfrey and Rachael Ray both sue the pants of these companies for using their names illegally without their permission I hate to see all this happening BUT I think we're in for more of the same!

This is such a run for money, , , I was just looking for something to try to keep me healthy. I have 2 companies billing my credit cards Nutralane and Res Health V The pills do not work, make me sick and the stress is making me feel 10 yrs older. The packing slips with the pills have no way of contacting these people. That was my first clue that this was a money making scam. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to stop these people from billing my credit cards and ruining my credit? I am about to start legal action. Any suggestions?

To Nutra Lane Supervisior:

It appears there are different numbers being left for customer to call. And also "please call us so we can recitify the situation" -- ummm why don't you give them your name and a direct line number to call? When the call they will get the front line reps that will tell them the same thing the last rep did. They do not need call center help, they need corporate help.

Having "inside" working knowledge of this company and their procedures (I did quit because my ethics would not let me continue) - I can promise you, if you do not send back the product with a return receipt, UPS or delivery confirmation --- you WILL be told it never arrived. I spoke to more customers than I can count and the only orders we never "received" were the ones sent through regular mail. Odd - the postal service can lose soooo many packages to the same address.

BUYER BEWARE! No company gives away FREE product for such a low price. There is always a catch or as they would like to sat "Terms and Conditions".

I have the same complaints about this company. I ordered the trial, but didn't receive it. However, I was charged 79.90 on my bank card. I notified the company and was told I had to accept a shipment of this product by signature before they could refund my money. After accepting the product I was to return it to them; (at my expense of course) however, before I could sign for the shipment and get it returned I was charged again in the amount of 83.86. WTH! With all of that being said I am out 164.00 and with nothing to show for it. After speaking with them today, they said my account was mistakenly charged because the rep didn't cancel my subscription. Mistake my butt. I wonder would it be called a mistake, if this amount of money was coming out of the account or check. Ok, correct me if I am wrong or am I the crazy one. This is a scam. They count on ppl not paying attention to their accounts. The world is in a recession. I don't think anyone wants to pay for something they haven't received. What part about I don't want this product is hard to understand? If I am complaining about the first charge why would u charge me again 14 days later. Also, who in their right mind would pay 164.00 in less then 14 days for diet pills when they haven't tried one pill.

Hi I'm Lorna
I would like to add my experience to all the other complaints and concern that's out there about this company is that the way they conduct business is very unethical and abusive the costumers who are shopping for good deals. I am a victim of this circumstance, I went on the site to check out the blog because it came up on my page, I try to view the details of the product but I needed to go on and enter my card info, but click no thank to exit before the any final sale, now I'm scam with a 79.90 charge on my account for what I don't know. I try emailing the company and I receive an error invalid email address, I also try calling no answer I leave them a message with my contact phone# and no one called back. I contact my bank about this company scam and request an investigation into this matter because I never request or place an order with this company for any supplies or products. I plan to print all these complaints and mail it to the attorney General office. Have any one try contacting the better business bureau.

Yes, I had the same problem. They got my cash card, my credit card, and they are also trying to get creditors after me. My credit score is 941 and they will mess it up for sure. I have several disputes with these companies, Bank of America knows all about these companies, and they told me more than I knew about them. Unbelievable. All the paperwork, the returns, the money I spent, and for what? The products don't work, and they do give you a bad case of diarreah, stomach pains and dizziness. Do not fall for this, as I did. This place is SUCH a fraud. I just got off the phone with Hostile Monica and Steven (sp?).

I called in about a week ago (before my trial ended) and asked them how to avoid being charged for the product which I decided that did not want. They gave me the Return # and I was told to return the product BY 7/26 so as not to be charged. The representative I spoke to then told specifically to make sure I got a tracking number so I could confirm when the product was received, as that was an issue in the past. He told me that I could get a refund up until 8/26. He told me to empty a bottle and sent it and the other one back. I really didn’t want the product, but I did empty a bottle to make the shipping less.

I sent the bottles overnight, guaranteed next day delivery by noon. I tracked my packaged and saw that it was delivered on 7/25 at 10:49 AM and signed for by Z. Joslin. I check my account today 7/28 and see that I was charged $79.90 on 7/27.

I called and spoke to Lindsay (sp?) and she said that the refund was issued today - though it wasn't showing up at my bank, it may take up to 48 hours. She said that I should not have been changed that is why the funds were returned.

I call my back to see if the funds were showing as pending, they were not. I called Nutralane back.

I spoke to Monica, who was hostile because I would not let her just feed me the canned response, I wanted an answer to the question, why was I told that if they received it BY 7/26 I WOULD NOT be charged, not I would be charged and refunded. She stated that she did not know why I was told that as it isn't correct, that they have to process the return. She then went on to read me the return policy stating that refunds would be issued up to 30 days from date of receipt and it can take 5 business days to process the refund, that is from the 2 business days that it take to process returns. The 5 business days also contradicts what Lindsay told me a regarding the 48 hours.

Monica read me the T&C regarding the timeframes, but that still did not answer the question as WHY I was changed when I was told I wouldn’t be.

I asked to speak to her supervisor because she kept talking over me and was getting agitated and short. Just because she is giving me a canned response and she cannot vary from that, doesn’t mean I have to accept it. I spoke with Steven for probably 45 seconds; he kept insisting that 1 person would not go against company protocol and promise me that if the package was received by the 26th, I would not be charged.

I believe I asked Monica and Steven (it may have been only Monica though) to pull the call (7/13) but I was told no.

I understand that they need to process the return, and I also understand that it takes time to process refunds, that does not change the fact that I was told if they receive it (not process it) by the 26th of July I would not be change.

We are sorry for the inconvenience you have experienced with us. It sounds like you were not properly taken care of at that time. We deeply apologize for the experience you had with us. The order you placed for was a buy now, pay later offer not a free sample with autoshipments every 45 days. The pay later is usually 21 days after the purchase date. Please be aware that if the products are not sent back to us, you are liable for the $79.90 charge as our terms and conditions state at the bottom of the webpage however ALL of our orders come with a money back guarantee. Our records show that you were fully refunded $79.90 on May 13th please contact us if there is anything else we can assist with.

Our number is [protected]. We are here Monday through Friday 7am to 7pm MDT and Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 5pm.

The charges that you are referring to don't sound like familiar charges of ours. Our trial offers are usually $79.90 and our autoshipments are $69.90. Please ensure that the charges you were charged for are from us. If you feel like you were billed for something that you did not order, please call us so we can rectify the situation. Acai Berry Fraud

On 1/24/2009, I ordered a trial size supply of Acai Berry Edge for the shipping fee of $3.97. Having second thoughts about the product, I immediately called and spoke to GNS customer service rep., Christie, cancelling my order and any subsequent auto shipments. She assured me the order and autoshipments would not happen and gave me cancellation confirmation no.
ceb012401. Since then GNS, Inc. has charge my account the $3.97 shipping fee and continues to attempt to charge me an additional $79.90 for orders that I have never received.
If I hadn't closed the charge card account GNS, INC. would continue to apply charges for items I cancelled and never received.

Acai Berry Supplment

Signed up for a trial of Acia berry edge for $3.97.
I am being billed for $79.90 to complete (trial) order on 4/5/09 and was sent an additional shipment totalling $69.90 on 4/29/09. By the time I received the 4/29 shipment (that I did not know I would receive because I did not order it) I had not cancelled in time to cancel the whole thing! This is fraud of the highest order. This is a very clever company, using Oprah Winfrey and Dr. Oz to defraud the general public. I have never been so gullible and will never be again, but fear for others. This needs to stop. Please put these people out of business!

Acai Berry msn messanger scam

There has been 2 times now that my msn messenger has opened saying that my daughter has signed in. Then the messenger opens and it appears that my daughter is chatting with me. Both times she talks about the acai berry elite weight loss. Then is gives me the link to click on (http://kindlain.com) I called her on the phone and asked her if she had ordered any of these pills and she said she had no idea as to what I was even talking about. She said that she hadn't even been on her computer all day. The 2nd time this happened was a couple of hours ago. And I know she was in bed. Somehow, someone is hacking into her msn messenger account and claiming to be her and trying to get people to fall for this acai berry scam. I made a copy of the msn messenger conversation so I can show my daughter tomorrow. Just wanted to let everyone know that there are hackers out there for this web site.

I paid for a "free" sample of Acai berry. However 2 weeks later my account was charged more than $80 for a subscription I neither agreed to or was aware of, plus I never received any of the product that I "subscribed" to.

Acai Berry cancellation

The 14 day free trial period is way too short. a shipping invoice was not included with my trial offer. when another bottle showed up 30 days later, again without an invoice, I decided to call them. when I called [protected] it took multiple paths and attempts to finally get thru to a real person who could help me cancel future orders from automatically arriving. I should be receiving an e-mail confirmation - time will tell. their phone number tries to direct you to a website www.myordersupport.com that does not exist.
I urge everyone to look at the refund and exchange policy and terms and conditions. it states you can send an e-mail request to cancel your account at the following adress; [protected]@fwmlabs.com. include your name, address, order #, products ordered.
I hope this info helps someone else get out of this scam.
Sincerely, dawn

I ordered the sample of Aci Berry in October to which I was charged $4.95 and received, then I noticed that they charged me an additonal $126.40 on the 19th of October for something I have never received and again on the 2nd of November they charge to my visa $131.35 under the name of Global Wellbeing. Visa suspected that that was a fraudulent charge so I have been credited and Visa is now going after Global Wellbeing. I am trying to recoup the $126.40 but to no success as this time. I can't seem to find a way to contact this company.

Be very careful when taking trials of the Acai Berry products. I was fortunate and had my credit card company alert me that a trial I was going to do was from a company that has been investigated for fraudulent activity so they reversed the charge of the shipping immediately (they called the same day I made the charge) and closed my account. I have to wait 5 days for a new credit card but from what I'm reading it is worth it! The fine print in the offer for Acai Berry Detox says you have to return the unused portion of the 30 day trial 15 days from when you place the order to not be charged. Depending on how long they take to mail it to you, it is not possible to even receive it then take it to the post office and return it in time. That is how they scam people, and the only way I found this info was clicking on the small links at the very bottom of their web page. Unless you really want to use it and pay full price, don't take the trial offers!

I placed an order with this "company" on July 11. As of July 27 I had not received the order. I called on the 27th to cancel the order since I had received no product. Imagine my surprise when I saw the charge for 86.42 on my card. I called immediately and was on hold for a long time. It was expalined to me that I had a 15 day "trial" period before I was charged. I explained that I never received the product. How could I have a "trial"? Long story short I have to wait until I receive the product, write my cancellation number on the front, and then ship (I pay shipping) it back to them. Then I have to wait for my refund. I have never written a complaint before. I seriously think that this is a scam.

Your refund policy is not very good. It says you have a 15 day satisfaction guarantee return policy on all shipments. However, it took almost that long just to get the product. You don't have enough time to try the product because you have to turn right around and send it back. I want you to CANCEL my account! DO NOT CHARGE ANYTHING TO MY CARD! My order # is: 1158922. It is impossible to reach you by phone! I have already contacted my bank about this and I am going to meet with my attorney on Tuesday. The whole ad that you have placed is completely FALSE ADVERTISING! I can't believe Oprah, etc. would endorse your product knowing everything that your customers have had to go through with this company. Again, CANCEL MY ACCOUNT & DO NOT CHARGE ANYTHING TO MY CARD! I also want confirmation that my account has been cancelled. Your product is in the mail being returned to your company.

I don't need anymore and so far the product has no effect. Please refund my money. I will see which organizations and newsgroups I can complain too. I just found out about this charge today. I have only ordered the trial size of this product. And i will pay nothing more i will cancel my card cause i do not have the extra money for this. The website says nothing about sending you more or billing you more. This is why i do not order on the internet. I always get took. Acai berry did the same thing they give you a free 15 day trial but you don't receive the product until the 17th day so you really don't get a trial at all then the 2nd bottle shows up on the 18th day so they can charge you for that to. So before you even try the product your being billed $87.00 before you try the product this is rediculous. There has to be a different way of promoting this product if it does work because you make a consumer unhappy they will not try your product nor will they promote it. Something needs to be done to protect the consumer. I would like all my money refunded from Acai Berry and i hav'nt talked to anyone yet at cleanse pro x . I tried calling to cansel and i sat on the phone for 15 min. Finally i thought i got someone but it just said thank you for calling and it disconnected me. Very frustrating . Acai Berry Multiple Unauthorized CHARGES!

I saw this website advertising that OPRAH magazine highly recommended their product and like most of the people complainig here I ordered the "Free Trail Offer" which is advertised for the Shiping and Handling price of about 5 dlls. Of course, right away I recived another shipment which cost about $$80! OK... although I didn't appreciate the underhandedness of the transaction I actually did not mind having another bottle so I sucked it up... low and behold though, I got another charge shortly from some self help site out of Las Vegas for 30$ and another for 5 dlls a few days later! After reading all these reviews I will be cancelling my AMEX today before this gets more out of control!

Acai Berry Mail Fraud, Scam, How to get charges removed

This is totally a scam, it's ridiculous that this company is utilizing Dr. Oz and Oprah to provide credibility for a product that doesn't even work. Using a gimmick to entice consumers to try this product for free trial and then automatically shipping supplements, billing your credit card for $80 plus dollars -- all of this without your consent to purchase. The customer service reps continue to defer to the small print in the T & C language, but once you mention filing complaints with the FTC and Attoney General's office they seem to back down and pretty quickly refund your credit card charges. This whole experince was a scam and a lot of trouble for 14 free pills. This company should be investigated for illegal, unethical business practices.

DO NOT order the "free" Natures Acai Berry supplement. Although they state that they will only charge you $4.95 for S&H and indeed you will receive a bottle of "acai berry, " you will also be plagued with having given a random company your credit card information. In addition, Nature's company will happily give your information to 2 other companies, Fit Factory and Cost Smashers, who will then enroll you in a "free 21-day trial" of their products. This is not mentioned on the Nature Acai Berry website, not even in the fine print. Lesson #1: You are better off physically walking into a store and purchasing this supplement rather than giving out your credit card information to random third parties. It may cost a little more initially, but the money you will save on not being involved in this scam is huge! And by the way, the acai berry supplement contains mainly Chromium at 63% of the total capsule, in addition to, Green Tee Extract of 225mg, CAFFIENE of 135mg (very healthy for you...sense the sarcasm?), Acai extract of a mere 50mg, and finally L-theanine of 8mg. I am a physician and I have never heard of L-theanine in my career, so the ingredients are likely a farse.

After more than 45 minutes on the phone with the representative at [protected] to cancel Fit Factory and Cost Smashers, I was given 2 confirmation codes; one for each company. After attempting to get the rep to agree to send a written letter of confirmation to my home address, she insisted that I give her my email address. I asked her, "You sent me two emails already enrolling me in your product line and you are telling me that you do not have my email address in your system already?" She beat around the bush for many minutes and I refused to give out my email address, since they already have my physical address, b/c she made me verify it upon answering the phone. I then asked for a physical address for the companies and she again beat around the bush with me and acted like she was typing something, which sounded like it must have been a novel for all the typing she was doing! Again I asked for a physical address and she answered with, "Ok, I am just sending you a confirmation to your email address." Now all of a sudden she had my email address on file and was sending me a confirmation. Again I went back to the question, "Can you please give me the physical address of these companies, " and this time she said hold please and immediately placed me on hold. I thought this was the end of the call and that I would be dropped shortly. However, she came back on the phone and gave me this address: 2620 South Maryland Parkway Las Vegas NV, and no zip code. Then I asked if she was physically located at this address in a call center or the like and she responded, "No, I am in the Phillipines." Super, I thought.

In the background during my phone call I heard people coughing and sneezing, I heard loud noises like heavy machinery in addition to many other bizarre noises. At American call centers, from having worked for Sprint Telecommunications years ago, the headsets they use filter out that type of background noise and also the cubicles are set up to ensure that other noises do not interfere with the call. Why do I address this issue? Because this clearly indicated to me that this girl, who probably has no idea who she is working for, is in some factory or sitting in her "house" answering calls for $2/hr from some company in the States that doesn't even physically exist!

I was infuriated, to say the least, that some company would distribute my information without a disclaimer regarding it on their website. However, I realize now how ignorant and naive I was to actually have believed that I could safely order a supplement online from a website that I now realize had no credentials. It wasn't like I went to walgreens.com or GNC.com or some other credible American company. Lesson #2: If you haven't head of the company before, and you cannot find any other information about them by Googling the name besides websites about it being a scam, chances are, its a scam!

I hope that my bad experience with these "companies" will at least be a testiment to others so that you do not fall for the same scam that I did. Please, please, for your own good, do not order Nature's Acai Berry unless you have the extra time to call your credit card company to request a new card with a new number, call Nature's and sit on the line for 30 mins before getting anyone to answer, and have the tolerance to put up with ignorant people.

I received my free bottle of Acai Berry. Upon receiving my credit card statement I noticed unauthorized charges for $79.96 from Nature-Acai, a $29.95 charge from DJM*Lifstylefit and a $2.95 charge from DJM*Costnsave. I had only agreed to the $4.99 shipping charge.

Currently these charges are under review by my credit card company. I have notified each company to stop charging my credit card immediately.

These companies are rip-offs.

I am also a victim of this acai berry scam. They used a yahoo messenger contact in my contact list to send messages to me purportedly from my contact, endorsing and testifying to the effectiveness of the product and to get a free trial bottle, which I did. Before I could even finish the trial period, a charge has already been taken from my credit card. I experienced headaches and lost no weight during the 1st week. There is no tel no., no website to dispute the charge after I returned the product. Worse is my credit card did not honor the dispute because it wanted me to do it with the scammer merchant which is impossible.

I too received my credit card bill and was charged for the initial $5.95 plus $1.00 for the free trial, which I did order; however I did not agree to any further purchases, in fact I returned both shipments that I received, which I did not agree upon. I called the companies and cancelled anything that they thought THEY had agreed upon. I insist upon a full refund of $79.96, $2.95 and $89.95 and $85.91, credited to my credit card. I was stupid to fall for this sample, but I thought that was all that I would be getting unless I ordered more; however that does not alter the fact that this company is a RIP OFF Company.

I was also taken by natures acai berry. I only agreed to the free trial bottle and paid the shipping and handling cost, then i started seeing additional charges of $79.96, $2.97 and $29.95. I called the toll free # and they told me that my membership would be cancelled. What membership? I never agreed to a membership. This company needs to stop lying to everyone. Im sorry i ever decided to try these pills that dont even work!

I was charged $79.96, for a product that I wanted to return and was told I didn't have to return and I wouldn't be charged. It is on my credit card bill.

I agree with the complaint. I called and said I wanted to return because I can't take Green Tea, and I was told that I didn't have to return and there would be on charge. On my bill there was $29.95 charge. I don't think they are being honest with the people that are buying with there company.

Acai Berry illegal deductions from m y checking account

I order the Acai Berry Diet and now I am being charged on my bank debit/credit card unusual amounts all the time. I am going to have to cancel my card and get another one. This is ridiculous. Oprah and Rachel Ray are rich...so I don't guess they care about us poor people just trying to get by on a so-call "free" diet product.

I will never again trust these two shows. I have lost over a hundred dollars just on this. It is amazing how 1 free diet product can produce up to 4 or 5 company's that have access to your bank debit/credit card. This is a felony and should be stopped immediately.

we are from Canada, Alberta we also ordered the acai berry diet and they charged us close to two hundred dollars. when we phoned then they said there was nothing they could do. and we haven't even received the diet pill. mind you they sure would have to work really good for that kind of money. We sent in a stop payment just in case they try to take more out.

It is a same thing happening to us we have ordered the trial Nature Barry product for the shipping cost and we have received it. In August I have seen my credit card statement they charging a full retail for their product which I have not ordered and have not received. I will try to call costumer service and my bank about an unauthorized draw from my account. What a scam!

Is it possible to file a "disputed charge report" with your bank? Also, you might want to file an official complaint with your State Attorney General's Office, and with the Better Business Bureau. A "friendly" email to Rachel Ray and Oprah might make them a bit wiser about what they are endorsing.

Acai Berry did'nt get free pills & got charged $88.55 for something I did not order

I got into an add on the MSN Web Page on 4/12/09. It intrigued me as there was testimony from a customer from Cuba City, WI, the same town I was from. (however the name listed is not in the local phone book). The add was for Acai Berry Diet Pills and you could get a free 30 day supply for the cost of postage only. Against my better judgement, I gave my credit card #. I was billed $2.79 on 4/13 and to this date I have not received any merchandise of any kind. And I have not been able to locate that web site since then. Now on 4/24 there is a charge of $88.55 on my credit card statement. I have not ordered anything and I do not recall having a time limit on a committment to order any more merchandise. The day after I was on the website and fatefully committed my identification, I received three phone call soliciting other merchandise and they said they had gotten my name and phone # from Acai Berry. I made it quite clear to them that I did not want my name passed onto any other merchants. First time I have ever been so careless on the internet...

I wanted to try out the Acai Berry Diet Pills FREE TRIAL. I only had to pay the shipping and handeling charge of 3.95 dollars. I then got charged the next month for 87.00 dollars, making my account go negetive. I tried to cancel my order and called all the numbers that were listed. But, no one could seem to pick up their phones. I tried talking to someone on a chat about cancelling my order also, they're too dumb to understand anything I was saying. I was told to check my email account for a verification code. I checked both of my emails and there were NO verification codes listed. All I want to do is cancel my order so I don't get charged anymore. I do not have the money to keep getting over charged for diet pills that don't even work.

I ordered a free trial of Acai Diet pills and then $87.13 was taken from my debit account. on 12/2 and then agin on 12/19. I called on 12/3 and was told it would take 7-10 daysfor a credit. . It was not credited back to my account till 12/25. I am still waiting for the second payment to be put back into my account. I have made 8 phone calls regarding this problem and all I ever get from the represntative is that she will forward my concern to there billing department. I do not have $87.13 to put out on diet pills. I told the person on the phone that I didn't receive any other pills other than the free sample and that it bothered my stomach and wanted to cancel. Now the one phone number I have is disconnected and the other # I have constantly says the mail box is full and not accepting any other calls. I would appreciate it if someone can help me with this problem. The last time I called I asked to speak to a supervisior and waited on the phone for 30 minutes. When the person got back on he told me I will still have to wait and when I complained he just put me back on hold.

Thank You

My daughter ordered a free trial order of these pills... we had to pay the $5.95 shipping/handling. We never ordered any more pills. The company keeps charging my credit card $88 and $94, within 5 days of each other. I tried calling the company phone number, which gives a recording for a website, which goes nowhere. I tried calling the number on the insert, and it just disconnects after ringing. This is a fictitious company who is ripping the public off... and getting away with it. The web-site I went to lists NUMEROUS entries of the exact same problem, and even the exact same charges to others credit cards. I am calling the better business bureau next. I have since had to put a suspension on my credit card and deal with this crap on my own. It's not right!

I order a free trial of the Acai Berry Diet pills, which was only 15 pills. They said you had to call within 14 days to cancel subscription or they would automatically mail out a new month's supply and charge the debit card you have on file $89 a month. I called the 800 number they had listed on their website, which was same one listed on my debit card statement. I couldn't get through during normal business hours, the line was always busy. I was unable cancel my subscription and therefore had to cancel my debit card so I would not automatically get sent a new months supply and be charged $89.

I ordered a free sample of Acai Berry, I was then charged 2 payments of $87.13 on 12/2 and 12/19. I called on 12/3 and cancelled. I was told it would take 7-10 business days for my refund. I was charged on my credit card four times: 39.95, 4.97, 2.97, and 87.47... I have received the refund for 4.97 and 2.97 but the other two charges are still in my credit card's statement!... I dispute these charges and every time that I call them they said that they will refund me in 3 to 5 bussines days... its been already more than two months trying to get the refunds! :((( I'm really mad! I want to call the billing department but I can't find their phone number!

Acai Berry Product Made me Very Sick

BUYER BEWARE: This product made me VERY SICK FOR DAYS ON END. I tried the Acai Berry Detox plus The Bromalite because some person by the name of Susan Glanville said that she saw it on the OPRA Show and tried it and it worked for her. However, it made me so ill, I thought I would have to go into the hospital. And I did not lose any weight. The products made me sicker and sicker. I cancelled my order, and I hope the ACAI BERRY DETOX/BROMALITE COMPANIES PROCESSED THE CANCELLATION.

I wished I had seen the COMPLAINT PAGE PRIOR TO ORDERING THE PRODUCTS.
