Acai Berry Unauthorized charge on my credit card

I was charged $59.95 for Acai Berry which I did not authorize. Thank God for Capital One. they called me yesterday to ask if this was an authorized purchase. When I called the California toll free number (listed on my credit card charge), I was caller number 83. I hung up. Tonight I have been on hold now for 1 hour and 45 minutes. I was caller number 23 at 7:30 p.m.; then #18 (with an automatic response that the wait was 15 minutes); at 8:35 I was caller #13 (2 minute wait); 8:45 caller #10 goes to 29 minutes; at 9:12 p.m., I am now caller #9 with a 40 minute wait, 9:22, caller number 7 and now a 58 minute wait. no more. I just disputed the charge with Capital One. Capital One has to be the greatest credit card company of all time. P.S. This all started with my stupidity to win a free I Phone...Never again, will I go on the internet and try to win anything.

Acai Berry Scam

I too have had several unauthorized charges in my bank account. Why would I want to add a shopping program (price or prize limbo) and an online fitness membership (!) (fit fac) to my monthly expenses!? And the only reason I know what these are is because I called the "searchvitamins" 800 number that was on my bank statement in order to find out what the $89 charge on my statement was about! Upon my SECOND phone call to "searchvitamins" the customer service rep told me that fit fac and price (or prize) limbo were "affiliates" of theirs. Fit fac said they would credit back all $29.95. The agent at with searchvitamins, or perhaps they are also 30 Day Thin, will only credit back $44 of the $89. I have not heard from pricelimbo yet. BUYER BEWARE. There are slick, slimy, dishonest, scamming businesses out there praying on the least-expecting.

Acai Berry Charges to my Credit Card

I like many others were in my myspace when I saw the add for Acai Berry and Colon Cleanse. I decided to try the free samples since I just had my third child and were instructed by my doctor to stop taking my prescription diet pills and water pills due to my health. I had no problems when they deducted the 4.99 from my account because I was expecting that. I unlike some more unfortunate than me did receive the pills but were extremely surprised today when I was checking my account and saw that 89.00 had been deducted. I am more upset that it is December and I honestly have no extra money for BS like this since I am barely making it through Christmas. I want to get with someone on myspace as well to have them STOP promoting these diet pills so no one else has to go through this. I want my money back but don't know who to call! Can anyone help me?

Nice, I got hammered with the $83.95 because I too didn't realize I had to call those ###'s and cancel. What a scam. I think all of the TV news stations should stop advertising (where I heard about this) this stuff and warn consumers that you have to cancel or you will be hammered with extra charges.

This appears to be a different company than Central Coast Nutraceuticals. None of our products actually charge those amounts, but just in case we recommend contacting your bank for the correct contact information on the companies that sell those products. If for some reason it still appears to be our company, please follow these instructions. We do not manufacture either colon cleanse or acai berry

If there are any questions regarding Trial offers, membership enrollment, or returns with Central Coast Nutraceuticals, we recommend contacting the Customer Care Department either by phone [protected]) or through our Customer Assistance Website (Getorderhelp.com). If you call, there is rarely a hold time, and if you e-mail don’t forget to check your spam e-mail box for the response. The Customer Care Department is available to help you 24 hours Mon-Fri and from 8-5 MTS Saturdays and Sundays. We recommend referencing the terms of the offer at the website you placed your order from. Here is an example of the terms, taken from the order page of one of the products PomegranateClear.

“Terms & Conditions: You are ordering the PomegranateClear 14-day risk-free trial offer for only $4.95 shipping and handling. Your 14-day trial begins when you receive the product. If you are not satisfied with PomegranateClear for any reason just return the unused portion anytime before the end of the 14-day trial period and you will have no further obligation. For your courtesy, we will provide you with an additional 7 days after the 14-day trial period to allow for return shipping to avoid further obligation. If you are happy with the product do nothing and your credit card will be charged an additional $39.95 approximately 21 days after your receipt of the initial trial shipment. In addition, approximately 30 days after you order your risk-free trial and about every 30 days thereafter, we will automatically send you an additional 1 month supply. The credit card you provide today will be billed the low price of $39.95 plus $4.95 shipping & handling for a total of $44.90 when each new product ships. That's 20% off the regular price for a 1-month supply. You may cancel your membership during the trial period or any time thereafter by simply calling our Customer Care department at [protected] or by using our contact form at www.getorderhelp.com. Remember, most customers see noticeable results by using PomegranateClear consistently for 3 months. If you are not fully satisfied with future shipments you may return any unopened containers of within 30 days of receipt for a full refund less the shipping and a 15% restocking fee. Please read the full Terms and Conditions for complete details of this offer.”

I was also scamed by fxsupplements. I never even recieved the trial bottles. I started calling and emailing them within two days to cancel but still was billed another 79.95 on my American Express card. Now I have been emailing them daily with NO response for 35 days. American Express is doing an investigation. Anyone else I can call?

There terms & agreement is a much of bull! I purchase the Colotox for $1 and on the very same day they billed me $42.85. It's almost impossible to get through to them by their toll free number. Wait times of 43-89 minutes...wtf? It's like they purposely don't want you to can your membership so they can continue to bill you. Anyway with that being said I would file a complaint here http://welcome.bbb.org/. The company's is Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc. Just thought I would share the information.

Acai Berry Rip-off

I placed an order for the Acai Berry Maxx on November 23, 2008 for the $5.95 charge that was for shipping and handling. I thought I would receive within a few days, but here it is almost 2 weeks later and still nothing. I e-mailed several days ago, no response. I e-mailed them two days ago, and again no response. I called their toll-free number and a recording comes on saying the mailbox is full. I e-mail them again yesterday to cancel the order. Then I go American Express to check my credit card account, and low and behold they charged me the $5.95 on the same day I placed the order. I know it is against the law for a company to charge your credit card before they ship your product. Then I called the phone number that was shown under the charge/reference number. The line is busy, which tells me they probably have it disconnected. I am totally pissed off. As soon as my husband is out of earshot, I'm calling AMEX to file a dispute. If my husband knows about this, he will have a fit. I am disgusted!

When ordering a trial bottle for a nominal cost, you are automatically enrolled in a system where they send you out bottles and charge approximately $85 each month, even if you cancel during the trial period. They ignore your cancelation, send you the bottles, and bill your credit card. When you call to cancel, you get a recording and can not leave a message. Cancellations through their e-mail cancelation address are ignored, and the bottles and charges keep coming.

I have an order number and confirmation of the order dated 11/30/2008. Not received as of 12/17/08 so I called the number on the confirmation. I got told that isn't their product. When I found the website and tried live chat got told that isn't them and isn't their product. So where did my money go and what recourse do I have?

Partially filled out order form, then canceled order, still got it. Tried to cancel membership, but all e-mail address came back non-existant. Tried calling but all numbers given were for the real Acia berry site and they said it was a scam using their phone number. Had to cancel my card and get a new one.

I completely agree...I, too was suckered. I'm now going to have to cancel my credit card. Luckily, my credit card co. has always dropped the charges but have now told me to change card numbers. The fx supplement co. will not cancel my subscription after the trial order & they have sent more pills monthly since Jan. after they confirmed it was cancelled in Dec. '08. I have sent all pills back to sender unopened each month. I've called 5 different phone numbers & each one tells me they don't sell the product & have gotten similar calls about the acai berry maxx. I hope anyone who reads this will be very careful & do more homework from the company they order from than I did.

I AM 61 YRS OLD AND WHAT A FOOL I WAS, TO FALL FOR SUCH A SCAM AS THIS COMPANY HAS, ONE MINUTE AFTER I HAD FILLED IN THE FORM AND GAVE THEM MY DEBIT CARD NUMBER, I KNEW IT WAS A SCAM... I CALLED MY BANK AND TRIED TO HAVE THE PAYMENT STOPPED, THEY WOULD NOT DO THIS FOR ME.. I WAS TOLD CANCEL YOUR ORDER OR YOUR DEBIT CARD... I HAD ALREADY READ THAT YOU COULD NOT CANCEL THE ORDERS, FROM READING COMPLAINTS, ONLINE..SO I HAD TO CANCEL MY DEBIT CARD... I COULD NOT LOOSE ANY BIG AMTS . OF MONEY..
MY SON WORKS FOR THE FBI, AND WHEN I CALLED HIM, AND TOLD HIM WHAT HAPPENED, HE SAID TURN IT IN TO THE FBI, MOM..SO I BEGAN MY PLAN, I CALLED THE NUMBER AND ON THE SECOND TIME THEY ANSWERED, I TOLD THEM HOW ANGRY I WAS TO BE SCAMMED, AND THAT I HAD ALREADY CANCELLED MY CARD, THEY COULD NOT CHARGE ME ANYMORE, I INFORMED THEM I WAS TURNING THIS IN TO THE FBI.. AND THE NEXT 2 DAYS, THEY CALLED ME ON THE PHONE, FIRST TWO CALLES I DIDN'T ANSWER, NOT KNOWING WHO IT WAS, THIRD CALL I PICK UP ON.. THEY ASK FOR ME BY NAME AND ASK ME IF I KNEW THAT I WAS ENROLLING IN THEIR CLUB, WHEN I ASK FOR THE FREE SAMPLE, I SAID NO, NO.. AND REMINDED HIM THEY COULD NOT GET ANYMORE MONEY FROM ME... I THEN EMAILED THEM WITH THE FACTS THAT I DISCOVERED ON THEIR WEBSITS, WITH PROOF THAT THEY WERE SCAMMING PEOPLE... WELL THE NEXT DAY THEY CHANGED THEIR SITES.. REMOVING SOME PICTURES OF A GIRL CLAIMING TO BE TWO PEOPLE WITH THE SAME STORY OF WEIGHT LOSS.. BUT I HAD ALREADY COPIED THESE PAGES.. AND ALSO COPIED THE LATER, WHICH I AM TURNING OVER TO THE FBI.. I FEEL FOR ALL YOU, JUST AS I FELT FOR MYSELF, KNOWING WHAT THOSE KINDS OF WITHDRAWALS FROM MY MONEY, WOULD KILL ME.. I FEEL VERY GLAD THAT WHEN I STOPPED MY DEBIT CARD THE 5.95 WAS THEN PUT BACK IN MY ACCOUNT, BUT I PAID 30.00 DOLLARS TO STOP MY CARD... I WANT THIS MONEY BACK FROM PURE ACAI BERRY... Don't feel too badly - I did the same exact thing and I'm no ###. Next time I will make sure to locate a telephone number and actually call that number before placing ANY order online. I did find a resolution for myself. Luckily I realized this might be a scam after only 12 days of not receiving my "trial order." The fine print states that yu will be automatically enrolled on a monthly basis for near $80 a pop unless you CANCEL. Well, wouldn't it be nice if you COULD cancel your order? Nice. Telephone numbers don't work. Emaila addresses supplied appear to be bogus. Live chat doesn't work either. So, I called my cc company to check the status and to see if there was anything I could do to avoid the upcoming approx $80 expected to post to my account - since there is obviously no way to actually cancel your order. The only thing I could do was get refunded the 5.95 since I never received anything - then CANCEL YOUR CREDIT CARD. That way, they cannot charge you anything additional. I know its too late for you - but I would dispute the charges through your cc company and then bite the bullet and cancel your card. They'll send you a replacement cc within 3 days. You may have to admit this one to your husband. Sorry! Both Acai Berry Maxx and My Colon Cleanse are scams!

yes very crooked - however, if you issue a dispute w/your credit card co. you need not pay.
The web site states that you have so many days to stop the charge; however, the mailbox if always full & there is no way to cancel.
In addition, file a complaint with the Better Business Burea & the post office for mail fraud as the original "Trial" was sent via the mail.
Help stamp out this fraud!

Acai Berry No contact with company

Unfortunately I ordered this today and then found all of the complaints .
Well after I read all the complaints, I tried calling the three numbers I have and they all have the voice
Of an Indian woman on the recording. Press1 for order Press2 for cancellation. Etc…..

I tried both just for the hell of it and if you press 1 it tells you to go to the website to reorder. Yeah sure go figure. No one wants to take responsibility. I guess they got hip to the complaints and everyone pressing 1 just to get a human voice.

My only consolation is that I did not use my debit card through my bank. I was then I erased it and said no I better not. So I Used my Mastercard. I went online to check my account. They have not charged me yet. I had gotten the special of $1.99 shipping, which pops up if you try to leave the website. then they will charge me $78.81 after 14 days. I am going to notify my credit card company and close it and get a new card. I cant believe how they do business. You would think that you would want to make money if you have a good product. They have the nerve to put Oprah and Rachael Ray on the site. I ordered my Pure Acai Berry Pro from this site.
www.trypureacaiberry.net

I then called back again to see what option 2 got me. Of course you get classical music then another recorded womans’ voice to leave a message.
Evidently they have many sites and many products. Disguising their treachery.

I wish I had looked harder before I purchased. I really wanted to try it. I am going to Oprah’s site to see if she recommends anything. Buyer beware. RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH. IF IT SEEMS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE... YEAH YEAH. IT IS! I WISH I TOOK MY OWN ADVICE FIRST... THEY JUST PREY ON THE HOPES AND DREAMS OF THE OVERWEIGHT.

THIS INFORMATION IS POSTED ON THIS WEBSITE:

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is expanding, for the second time, its nationwide alert to consumers about tainted weight loss products containing undeclared, active pharmaceutical ingredients.

The FDA has identified additional weight loss products (Herbal Xenicol, Slimbionic, and Xsvelten) and new undeclared active pharmaceutical ingredients (fenproporex, fluoxetine, furosemide, and cetilistat).

"These tainted weight loss products pose a great risk to public health because they contain undeclared ingredients and, in some cases, contain prescription drugs in amounts that greatly exceed maximum recommended dosages, " said Janet Woodcock, M.D., director of the FDA's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. "Consumers have no way of knowing that these products contain dangerous drugs that could cause serious consequences to their health."

On Dec. 22, 2008, the FDA warned consumers not to purchase or consume 28 different products marketed for weight loss. On Jan. 8, 2009, the FDA expanded the list of tainted weight loss products to include 41 additional tainted products. The FDA will continue to update this list as warranted.

The products listed above, some of which are marketed as dietary supplements, are promoted and sold on various Web sites and in some retail stores and beauty salons. Some of the products claim to be "natural" or to contain only "herbal" ingredients, but actually contain potentially harmful ingredients not listed on the products' labels or in promotional advertisements. These products have not been approved by the FDA, are illegal, and include the following undeclared active pharmaceutical ingredients:

fenproporex – a controlled substance not approved for marketing in the United States;
fluoxetine – an antidepressant available by prescription only;
bumetanide – a potent diuretic available by prescription only;
furosemide – a potent diuretic available by prescription only;
rimonabant – a drug not approved for marketing in the United States;
cetilistat – an experimental obesity drug not approved for marketing in the United States;
phenytoin – an anti-seizure medication available by prescription only; and
phenolphthalein – a solution used in chemical experiments and a suspected cancer-causing agent that is not approved for marketing in the United States.
The FDA has inspected a number of companies associated with the sale of these illegal products and is currently seeking product recalls. Based on the FDA's inspections and the companies' inadequate responses to recall requests, the FDA may take additional enforcement steps, such as issuing warning letters or initiating seizures, injunctions, or criminal charges.

The FDA advises consumers who have used any products containing these ingredients to stop taking them and consult their health care professional immediately. The FDA also encourages consumers to seek guidance from a health care professional before purchasing weight loss products.

The health risks posed by these products can be very serious and include high blood pressure, seizures, tachycardia (rapid heartbeat), palpitations, heart attack, and stroke. Sibutramine, a controlled substance, was found in many of these products at levels much higher than the maximum daily dosage for Meridia, the only FDA-approved drug product containing sibutramine. These higher levels of sibutramine can increase the incidence and severity of these health risks. Fenproporex, another controlled substance, can cause arrhythmia and possible sudden death.

Health care professionals and consumers should report serious adverse events (side effects) or product quality problems to the FDA's MedWatch Adverse Event Reporting program either online, by regular mail, fax or phone.

Online: www.fda.gov/MedWatch/report.htm
Regular Mail: use postage-paid FDA form 3500 available at: www.fda.gov/MedWatch/getforms.htm and mail to MedWatch, 5600 Fishers Lane, Rockville, MD [protected]

I read the TERMS OF SERVICE, and trust all companies to stand behind what they put in print, but I made a huge mistake in that before ordering my free trial, I did NOT read people's warnings, in that this company will charge the $78.81, even though they say they only charge for shipping and handling. I called the company immediately upon reading this warning (same day I received the free bottle, which is only 4 days from ordering). The guy I talked to I could hardly understand, and I repeatedly asked him to repeat and to speak slowly. He kept insisting he had to charge me the $78.81. I told him NO, I would not be charged because it was still only 4 days. He told me I had to return the bottle in order to not be charged. He gave me a #, and I will return everything, but I'm not sure he meant anything he said. I immediately called my credit card company to tell them of this. They have a note on file about this and will stand behind me.

Good luck! I received a collections notice for the $78.81 plus $50 from Healthy Online Services after they could not extract the funds from a canceled card. I placed my trial order in March 2009. I canceled within the time frame because I just couldn't fit the product into my schedule. Advanced Wellness has record of my cancellation and I was not informed of having to return the used items (fine print?!). I contacted Healthy Online Services to get it straightened out with a supervisor. No luck. I've reported both companies to Federal Trade Commission for their poor business and pretty much going on the attack with me a year later. Good luck to those that use the product and deal with this company. I have no desire to ever deal with them again.

This product really works for me. My problem is I can't get it shipped to me. I was on auto ship, they cancelled that after 6 months. Now I can't get the product without paying the 78.00. I was on auto ship for 13.80, so I can see why they stopped. But I really want it again at the same price. They keep telling me 7 to 10 days NO such Luck.

Same story here, except after I called to cancel my order and got my refund, less the postage as they said, I'd have to take that up with the postoffice. They continued to send me their Pure Acai Berry Pro...a total of 6. Again, I was back on the phone with their representative who tried to say that I had asked to be put back on their list for additional products. I was floored! I told him that with the way falsely advertised their product that no one in their right mind would re-order their product. Again, I got my refunds and was told to keep the product as a thank you gift for trying their product. I said, no thanks and sent them back. Now, you would think that it ended there...NOPE! 6 months later, I get another charge on my credit card! This time when I called them, I wasn't very nice and or courteous to the rep and demanded to speak to the manager in charge. I was told that the manager was unavailable. I was again told that they would refund my credit card, less the shipping which I had to get from the postoffice. This time, I said NO WAY. You refund every single penny that you fraudulently charged to my credit card or you will be hearing from my attorney. I guess she got my drift because everything was returned. I didn't stop there, I figured if they did it again to me 6 months later, they'd do it again so ended up closing that account and opened another. Please DON"T make the mistake that I did. Be very very careful of the PURE ACAI BERRY PRO SCAM!

Hello, I also made the mistake to order the free trial of Pure Acai Berry Pro and the same thing happened to me. I only authorized the shipping which was $4.99 but thank goodness used a credit card, I never use my debit card to pay for anything online. I did research online but didn't see anything about the scams because I did this way back in January 2009. I kept receiving the bottles of Pure Acai Berry Pro and when I checked my statements realized that I had been billed twice $78.81 without approving anything. I called my credit card and they have credited me the fraud amounts and have closed my account and will be sending me a new credit card. What's interesting is that I am usually so careful and picky about buying anything online but for some reason I didn't think that day and trusted that I would only be charged the $4.99, big mistake...Hope this helps someone out there...

Well, looks like I'm not the only one who got ripped off. I ordered on line the Pure Acai Berry Pro SPecial for 39.99 received the inital order. Was billed almost $500.00 on my visa after the fact and never even received product and now of course no one wants to deal with it. They told me it would take 3 days for a supervisor to contact me. The customer service person I spoke to said she didn;t even have the charges I described to her on their records. Well I would also like to now how a comany can charge people for product almost every other day and not ship the product. Where are the consumers rights? What pisses me off even more is that Oprah is promoting this...Maybe Oprah needs to see some of these comments.

I called and told them I wanted to cancel and was offered a special deal of just $8 a bottle plus shipping which came to $13 and some change. I took the deal. Unfortunately I am not the best at taking pills. The bottles were coming regularly for 3 or 4 months and just sitting there unopened. I happened to pick one up and look at it and it was NOT even the same product. The first bottle I got was Pure Acai Berry, the bottles I got for the "special deal" of $8 a bottle have all kinds of other stuff in with it ... including caffeine. I have high blood pressure so I can not even take it. I called to cancel and complained that they changed the product which was fraud, the told me to keep the last bottle I received and "give it to a friend or family member" and they refunded my $8. Big WHOOP ... I have at least 5 bottles of this stuff sitting around that are worthless to me unless I want to take them and end up with complications due to other health issues.

Acai Berry Unauthorized Charge

The website stated that you could get a trial of 30-day supply to try out the Acai Berry, only have to pay $5.95 for S&H. They bill my credit card right away for that amount, and a couple of days later they bill me again for $79.95...for what?! At that time I didn't even receive the item yet! Than when I finally do get it like 10 days later, it came looking real ghetto, in an envelope with absolutely no information on it. No instructions, no invoice, no information on the product, NOTHING! Even the bottle itself looks ghetto, like someone just made up a lable and pasted it on a bottle! The bottle is sealed and everything, I still have not even opened it because I don't think its safe, especially now knowing how messed up this company is, you don't know what they're capable of! Called and called, left many messages, no one ever picks up. Sent email and emails, no response! THIS IS A BIG SCAM! REFUND MY MONEY!

The phone # to reach Advanced Wellness Research Inc. is [protected]. I too fell for this ad and was double charged. I did not read the terms and condition for ordering this product thoroughly enough until after I ordered, and there were red flags all over the place... immediately started calling and e-mailing to cancel...I am waiting for the results of my phone call...I was told it would take 2 to 4 days for them to process my complaint and reimburse me. We'll see what happens. Good Luck

Ordered Acai Berry All Natural Cleanse on line. Received the product really quickly with a little note that said "We want to make you aware of how the charge may appear on your statement depending on which product you ordered." That sort of made me feel easy. When I looked on my account the next week I was charged $87.00 before the trial was even up. I had received another bottle of the Acai Berry pills the day after my original request and thought that was strange but I was busy doing something else and didn't get back to this issue. I called the telephone number listed on the note and it just keeps stating that all customer service agents are busy, leave a name and telephone number and someone will return the call. I'm going to contact my bank to get these charges reversed.

I guys I have had this happen to me and had £79.98 & £79.99 back from the company. I am extremely appalled and disgusted by this company as its a complete con! I have emailed their customer support and getting no response. I have contacted my bank & they are sending out a warning letter to them & if they try and charge me again the bank will then re- inburse it back to me. However this money has gone out & the bacnk have told me I need to contact them to get the money back! I am livid. Can anyone help me as to how I can get this sorted?.

Wow! I feel foolish. Wish I had found this site sooner. Similar story Total Scam! I am very careful and never sign up for things like this, however it was very convincing since it came through my yahoo news. Here is the site.
http://consumer-warning.net/diet/health_news/index.php?t202id=41016&t202kw=USfri1.1-3-2-15.2
I even called them first to ease my mind and was assured that as long as I cancel by x date I would not be charged future shipments.
Well I had not recieved the product by the cancel date 10 days later and of course I had been charged the $2.95 trial. I had also noticed an add $1.50.
So I called to complain and cancel and they said they were sorry and would, send the product, extend my trial period and and send and additional 30 day supply.
We argued a bit over the add $1.50 charge and finally they agreed to credit it but that I would need to call back in a day or to have this done as it had not shown up in their system yet. I can't believe I fell for that! Well... another 10 days later I still had not received the product, AND the number I had previously called had an out of service tone along with a atomated voice saying lines were busy try back later. Well this went in for days. No product and now can't even cancel. I sopke with my credit card company and blocked Diet Max, They said it has been happening to alot of people and that I am very fortunate to not have had any big charges from them.
Love to do something to help others not fall for this and or bring them down! Let me know!

Acai Berry Charged me illegally

I ordered AcaiBerry Trial which was a bottle containing 60 pills. Then they charged my debit card for $88. This was not authorized. I cancelled my debit card so they could not charge anymore. I called my bank and told them about it. They gave me the phone number to call which is [protected].

This is a scam. How can these people get taken off the net. I intend to notify Oprah, Washington Post, ABC News and Early Show they are backing a company which is a dis-honest and offers a trial and then charges us $88.00. This should be stopped and stopped now.

I will see what my re-course is.

I read all of the comments by the victims of this scam and feel totally sick. I too ordered a free-trial and just check my on-line banking account to see my account was debited over $170 for this - the second time - I was not smart enough to do anything the first time it happened. Not only am I angry I am feeling totally stupid to have allowed this to happen! I cannot see where anyone has had any success in contacting this company or whatever it is - I sent an e-mail to the e-mail address on the flyer that was inside the first shipment I received - got a notice back within minutes that the e-mail address was non-existant. I also cannot see where anyone was successful in any way to stop this except by canceling their credit card. Unfortunately my credit card is a debit card and is tied to my checking account - what a mess! If this is happening to so many people why has there not been a way to stop them - I truly denounce any person or show that advertises and/or supports/condons this bogus company. Please post any information that might be helpful - I certainly cannot and will not give away this amount of money for fraud purposes!

I too have been attempting to cancel after receiving the product and finding out that it would cost almost $100/month. Have tried the phone number [protected] and my husband spoke with a person with broken English and was told he would receive a call back within 24 hours and gave them his cell number so that he wouldn't miss the call. He never received a call and it has now been almost 48 hours. I attempted to chat with someone on www.MyTrialSupport.com and all they did was attempt to send me information about the product and how to change my credit card information to my email address...attachments could not be opened. I thought "live chat" was interactive? I would highly recommend to anyone considering this that it is a bad idea and bording on a "SCAM".

First of all I wasn't even looking for Acai Berry. I was attempting to go to E-bay official site and when I clicked I was sent to Acai Berry page. It caught my interest as I had recently had a discussion with someone about it...I usually do not fall into things quite so easily and I am kicking myself now for my error. It won't happen again. Again, I would not recommend using this company if you are interested in this product. Find it somewhere else.

I am with you on this. When I received my bottle, I called immediately to cancel. Now a MONTH later, a charge has gone through for 88.62, plus a .71 cent visa conversion fee which says it was shipped out of the country and another amount of 94.67 is posting, but since I did this with my debit card, I can't dispute it until it posts. These people should be ashamed of themselves.

Everyone should get together and let's hire an attorney and sue these people! The pills don't even work!

I totally agree with all the mentioned complaints. I too, could not get my money back and when finally getting thru, it was past my 15 days. $88 + gone...taken out of my account. They also charged my account $5.95 for some kind of tea (didn't get or know anything about) but after talking with them and getting nowhere, I finally just hung up VERY angry and frustrated. They all have an accent so I'm sure they are in another country and they're all trained to say the same thing..."Well, I'm sorry Mrs. ***. There's nothing we can do about it since we did not hear from you within the 15 days"! This place needs to be shut down so they don't take our hard earned money. But then, maybe we're just all a bunch of suckers, wanted that magical pill that will take care of those extra pounds. I think the Attorney General should be notified of this!

I thought I was going to receive a month free trial of Pure Acai
Berry thru a website with Rachel Ray's endorsement and got this Acai Berry All Natural Cleansing Formula. I also asked for a month free trial of Bromalite which came in a separate shipment without any packing slip or information at all. I cannot get anyone on the phone and recently left a message on the "support" web address. I will be checking my credit card and if anything shows up, I'll dispute immediately and have them take care of this mess. It is a shame that these undesirables link up to reputable sponsors with misleading ads. It really makes you want to never order from the internet and just buy directly from stores such as GNC.

Acai Berry Fraud

I ordered a free trial of the Pure Acai Berry and agreed to the shipping and handling and found out that I was charged 78.81 before the 14 free day trail was over. I have tried calling them and the number keeps ringing busy and when I tried another number was advised to cancel by email. I did along with my order number and no one will get back with me so I can get the RMA # to send the product back. My credit card company has suggested we first try the dispute and submit all the paperwork and emails that I have sent showing dates and time and that I have done everything right to rememdy this fiasco. Shame on Oprah for condoning this product. Has any one trying to reach her web site to see what her thougts are on this! Maybe I will. This is the worse sham I have been catch in.

as with the other complaints against this company, I ordered the "FREE" sample with shipping charges of $4.95. About 2 weeks later I rec'd a larger bottle and my account was charged $79.76. There was no invoice included with the bottle, so I had to do more research to find the company, and of course no one answers the phone, nor do they return your calls, after leaving several messages. I am going to call the attorney general's office, something should be done about this company. They are ripping off the public and it should not be allowed. I want a refund on my account, I will be happy to return their product as it doesn't work anyway.

I requested the Pure Acai Berry free trial supply which was supposed be shipping and handling only of 4.99 and then 14 days from ship date to cancel my trial without further product/charges. I called the same night to cancel the order and was told I would have to call back once I recieved it in the mail. I have never heard of such thing. Poor customer service. I tried calling back before recieving and was told couldn't cancel until I got it in the mail. They shipped my trial product & charged my card within the 14 days. I checked my checking acct and seen the charge and immediately called to see why I was charged considering I had already made two calls and said I didn't want the product and the second rep told me to keep it and I wouldn't be charged. Now a rep tells me he will refund me basically 75% of my money back. I am very upset and will never order again from this company and neither will anyone else that I know!

there is a for sure way not to get ripped off..I went out and bought a $25.00 prepaid visa gift card and I used it to order these trials. For 1 they cannot charge you extra.you cannot be enrolled into anything(cause they cant charge a card that doesnt have money in it) and your personal financal information is never disclosed to them. and you can see your balance online for these cards, i only paid $1.95 shipping for this product and thats all that i was chared on the card. Now I am not saying this product works or anything, but there is a way not to get ripped off and Im simply trying to save alot of you time and grief by using a prepaid card. When I order anything online I always use the prepaid card(sure it cost $3.95-4.95 to activate)but its well worth not having your personal credit card charged over and over and trying so hard to get that money back.. Trust me I have gone through this and it is so Not fun...

Beware...this is a scam and should not be allowed to advertised as a popping message on the web. I ordered the Acai berry product because of the 14 day trial period. After I received the product, I took one pill and decided against using it. Within 14 days, I rec'd another order which is around the same time I received my credit card statement and saw that I was charged ..$4.99 +.78.81 + $83.80. I called to get return address and was told they do not take returns nor will they give a refund after the 14 day trial. They did commit to refund me the cost of the 2nd shipment, less the shipping and handling cost. I'm yet to receive the refund!

I am just adding my voice to all the others regarding the scam going on with this product...I ordered the Acai Berry Trial on 2/11/09, received it on 2/14/09, returned the bottle in original box with letter stating I was no longer interested in the product, please cancel, on 2/18/09. I did have enough foresight to get a delivery conformation which said they got it 2/21/09...That's 1 week after I received it and well within the 14 day "trial" period, right? Wrong.
On 2/27/09 I found a $78.81 charge on my card, and have yet to see anymore of the product - I guess they got the point that I didn't want the pills, but not to charge me for them. hummmm. I have since disputed the charge of course, but what a pain! ...and this is good, too- when I've called to try to speak with a "Customer Service" person, they introduce themselves (always from India) and keep repeating themselves like they can't hear me. Nice. Good Luck to all of us who fell for this, lesson learned.

I called to cancell
as the product is too expensive, $83.80. I was told the system was down and they would take care of everything when it came back on and took my information. A month later I'm still charged for this amount and again I called and now they said it would be taken care of again. I can't seem to get this canceled. It's very difficult to understand the person on the other line as they can't speak English very well.

Ordered free sample, when received no info included of any kind. Have since received 2 unauthorized bottles, neither had any info of any kind enclosed. Sample billed on credit card under one name the others under another name with different phone numbers one in Colorado, the other in Florida. Took awhile to figure out who these people were. Can't believe a company can get away with such deceptive business pratices with no information on how to locate them to cancel.

Acai Berry Unauthorized charges made to my account and no product received

Last month I ordered the Acai Berry diet pills and the Colon Cleanse that were seen in a pop up sd on My Space. Supposed to be like 5.95. I still have never received either product but today got an alert from my bank that a charge was made to my account for 29.95. I called bank to tell them it was unauthorized. They said I had to try to get it resolved thru that company first then if they didn't credit me the bank would credit me. Bank gave me phone number for Fit Factory. I called and they said it was not a scam that I had joined a fitness program for 29.95 a month by ordering the products. He said this was disclosed 4 times in there ad. I told him it must be in print to small to see because it was in nothing I read in the ad and I didn't know how they stay in business if that is the way they run it. He said he will get my account credited and gave me a confirmation number. We will see. I learned my lesson. Not to ever order anything in an ad on the net ever again!

I received four boxes in the mail today and opened them, thinking they were maybe an early Christmas present from my mom, for my son. She sometimes orders stuff on line and has it mailed directly to me...I found one bottle in each box of items I DID NOT order. The number listed on the pamphlet is not valid and told me it cannot be used from my area. I received two bottles of ACAI berry and Colon Cleanse. I never ordered these products, nor would I. I cannot contact anyone since that is the only number located anywhere in this packaging. I am going to mail them back and hopefully they did not get a hold of my c.c. # and didn't take any money out of my account somehow. I NEVER order anything on line so have no idea where the got my name from. I tried to google the address and this web site came up, along with a web site called [redacted] that had MANY similar stories to mine about this company where these boxes from this company just arrive out of the blue and the people find that their c.c. has been charged. This company is a ripoff and scam. Any info. you could provide about how to contact this company would be appreciated. The address is 3007 Greene St., Hollywood FL> [protected]. Company name just says ACAI Berry on one and Colon Cleanse on the other, along with the address listed above and a phone number of [protected].

Hi I recieved a call from my bank asking if this was an okay'd order. I was told over the phone by this company that this was going to be around $35 not $169 like I was charged on my debit card. I am wanting to cancel this order because I will not pay $169 that was charged to me. I can not afford to pay that amount for dietary pills. So please cancel my order and I know that this order is on its way, but I will be sending it back in that case for a FULL refund. All I really wanted was to try the free months worth just to see if they work and I haven't seen any results so am going to cancel and get a refund.

I sadly purchased this 'free' special offer of the acai berry and colon cleanse for £3.95 each and thought 'how brilliant' postage only fee.
then the night mare started... they started syphoning firstly small amount of money out of my account - ie £1.00, £7.00, £7.50, £3.74 and then all of a sudden the biggie - £158.00 of my hard earned cash.
I hadnt even received the product either.
I called their help desk and spoke with a lady called Sabrina and she said that it was clear in the small print that it is a free trial for 15 days then afterwards you would be billed whether youliked it or not for the full amount £79 for each bottle. when I quickly explained that I hadnt received the bottles, she straight away said that she would contact thead office and give me a full refund as I hadnt received the goods.
(Phew!) I have spoken to my bank and because of this stupid company I have had to close the account and set up a new credit account- This company are like 'bleeders' they bleed you dry with their small print.

and they are very powerful in their ability to help themselves to people's hard earned cash whenever they want to.

How do we protect our accounts from companies like these? and out banks cant simply stop paying them on our say so - they say we have to go back to the comapny to stop it with them - why would or should this be the case - we should still be able to say who and when we apy anyone from our money eh? or is it still silly season?

thanks
anon ( as the company many be checking this website and may see my name and decide not to pay me my refund!
If and when I do get my refund. I will return to give more info...

Good luck to you all out there.

I was forwarded an e-mail for free samples of products. Only had to pay shipping @ 1.00. and thought if I liked the product, I would order some after my trial period. Didn't read all the fine print. It stated if I did not call
them back before 14 days were up, I would be charged the full amount for the product. I called them, and was told I should have read the fine print in the terms of agreement. They will issue me a refund, After they receive the bottles back from me. Their phone number, if you would like it, is; Customer Service @ [protected] and the number listed for the business is; [protected]. The company is located in Hollywood, Fl

I ordered the online "special" in August and as others have explained, the true details of the great rebate and all you pay is shipping are not visible at the beginning. I received my shipment and a few weeks later noticed my bank balance was about $200 less than what is should be. I checked and Nutrition Craze had deducted another payment for the second bottles, which I did not order and knew nothing about having to make another payment until I called to question. They told me I would be able to request my rebate after the second botttles payments cleared. I started the rebate process in October and at the beginning of November there was a post on my account with Nutrition Craze that they had sent me an email saying my rebate waa approved and should be credited to my account in 3-4 business days. The second week of November I had not received the rebate and I called again. I was told at that time the process might take up to a month. I questioned why they lied in their advertising and in the email and was told that they shouldn't have said 3-4 days. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told that was not possible. I waited the "billing cycle: and have still not received my rebate. I called again toay and was told the same thing again, it might take another billing cycle. This company is a fraud and all people concerned with it should be in jail. I don't know how anyone connected with a TV station could in good faith recommend a product from a company that rips off the public.

Am not often fooled on the internet, however, after ordering these products, 1 for £1.99 shipping, the other for £4.99 shipping. 1 month later both appear on my credit card for £75. each!

The add was on facebook, and stupidly I asumed it would be safe. Am awaiting on the credit card company to get back to me!

I rec'd trial size bottles and just had to pay freight .. or so I thought...until I rec'd my credit card statement and called to complain and was told that since I did not call back in 2 weeks that I would be charged the full price...because the 2 weeks was my trial...not the bottle...where do I go to from here...it was a total of $125.90...

Channel 6 supposely did a trial on Acai Berry. It sounded legit. I ordered the free trial of AcaiOptimum. It was suppose to be $1.99 shipping and handling. My credit card was charged $1.99, $.80, $.01 and $99.96. I was supposed to get a rebate. I found out that I have to have two orders @ $99.96 before I can send in for a rebate of $99.96. If one gets a rebate they will still pay $99.96 plus $1.99 twice for shipping. Where is the free trial? I do not see it. I called and cancelled the second order. I will check my credit card daily. If this company charges any more on my card, I am going to file a dispute with my bank. I am going to write the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General of the State of Arizonia. I think everyone involved should pursue this issue. Together we can stop these robbers.

Same thing happened to me.

Funny thing was, the products didn't even arrive until three weeks after I ordered. I didn't HAVE the products when the "two-week trial" ended!

When I complained and demanded a refund, they put me onto an online chat with someone who didn't speak English very well. It was ridiculous. I threw a fit and eventually got about half back.

Acai Berry Acai Berry Supplement

I ordered the free trial offer, which promised a 1 month supply of Acai Berry Maxx for $5.95 shipping. What I received was a 10 day supply of a product called "Natural Acai Berry" with 20 total capsules (10 day supply) -- hardly a one month supply! And it was not the product promised! In addition, 2 capsules only provided 100mg. or Acai berry, not what was indicated in the advertisement.

Fortunately, I copied the terms and agreements, so I did have a working number to call. It took a 45 minute wait to be connected with a person to cancel future automatic orders.

For people who do not read the entire terms and conditions (fortunately, I did) they do not understand that you are agreeing to automatic shipments for the life of the company. I think this kind of "opt out" automatic shipping is a scam!

Additionally, my parter ordered the same trial. He has not yet received his trial offer, although he is 13 days from the order date. One more day, and he will receive automatic shipments, with no trial period to test the product. They debited his account just 3 days after the trial was ordered, but he still has not received the sample! We tried to cancel the automatic shipping yesterday, but they could not find his account! We called back today, waiting for 40 minutes to speak with someone. Finally, we were able to cancel; there was no answer to why they had debited his account and a product had not yet been received 13 days later.

It needs to be clearly stated that you are signing on to automatically receive the product when you agree to the free (shipping cost only) trial. I feel it should be stated UPFRONT as well as in the terms and conditions. It goes to show that lots can be hidden in the "terms and conditions, " which many of us do not read carefully. Fortunately, I read them this time. Still, it seems dishonest to me.
Sincerely,
Jan Derifield

I also ordered the trial offer, which stated very clearly I had 10 days from receipt of product to cancel with no further charges. I didn't like the stuff and canceled 6 days after trying it out. I went online AND I called and left a message. I was then charged $79 and change and called again, but there was never any answer; the message told me to leave a voicemail and my call would be returned. I was NEVER called back. I sent multiple emails as well. I was sent another bottle and charged again, so this time I waited, no kidding, 40 minutes on hold until a rep finally came on. I explained, very calmly, that I had canceled my "membership" about 6 times and I kept getting charged. I told her I wanted to send the secondary bottle back and have the amount refunded. She assured me I wouldn't be charged any more and would refund all charges. A few days later, I was charged again! By this time I had submitted a complaint with the Better Business Bureau AND my bank. It took 3 months, but I finally got my money back. Thankfully, my bank rescinded any future authorizations that FX Supplements may attempt. This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life and I will never, ever, buy anything like that again, certainly not from them!

I also ordred a free trial. They kept sending bottles at $80.00 each time when I returned them and requested a refund to my credit card I was ignored. I tried in vain to call the 800 number and at first there was no answer then I was left on line for 20 minuted no one answered finally on the third try I spoke with a man that said they could not refund me because their computer had gone down in December and the records were gone. I am at a loss to how to get my account credited. Please if you have any advice I would greatly appreciate it.

I ordered my free trial from www.acaiberrymaxx.com paying only $5.95 for S&H, the next day I get a call from "Robert " telleng me about special offers they had for first time buyers, never did he asked me if I wanted to buy any of their offers shortly after that I get a charge for $180.00 That I never agreed on. He got my credit card no. from their website and charge me for more product, I had to call my bank and cancel my credit card and open a fraudulent case against them. I called acaiberrymaxx to cancel those charges and they keep saying that I agreed to buy them when "Robert " called me, about a week later I get 3 bottles of acaiberry, 3 bottles of power flush 500 and 3 bottles of green tea along with my free trial acaiberry bottle, called them back now they are telling me I cannot return those bottles because it wasnt part of the free trial, so they dont want to give me my money back .

Hi Jan!
I wanted to thank you for the phone number you provided. (I called you just a little while ago). I was actually able to get a different number from the first shipping charge on my card. If anyone has ordered from FX Supplements - another phone number you can cancel at is [protected]. (the number you had provided was [protected]).

They were able to cancel, gave me a confirmation of the cancel, and since the charge is still pending, they will give me a credit and will email me confirmation that the credit has been applied. (Regardless, I warned my bank since it was my debit card, and they were ready to put a claim in once the charge became final).

Hope this helps!
Claire

You guys should just wait because in about a month they will send you a second bottle and charge your account a second time. When i first decide to purchase the product i was not told that in 14 days i would be charged the full amount until after i gave my card info. They said i should cancel my order if i do not want to do this. So i called the company and i got an answering machine that asked if i had any problems. I said that this company was horse ### and i want my order canceled. I recieved no call back so i called again a left the same message. Once again no call back. So i called them again and the answering machine said to send an email to aciaberry5000@cancelorder... so i sent them and email and Once again know information. 2 weeks later i finally recieved my order and it took the 14 days to recieve it. but the truth of it is i feel like ahuge idiot for giving my info away and know im screwed.

the best thing about this hole thing is that we are sending one hell of a message to our country... hey every one to help our economy grow you should not be afraid to spend money b/c there is companies out is hundreds of companies out there try to steal your credit card info and take your money.. dont you people love rich people... glad you guys keep gettin richer ...

These companies (not sure that it's only one) are completely fraudulent. They charged my credit card last month and shipped a bottle of Acaiberry to me even after I sent a cancellation email back on 12/23/08 that stipulated my desire to no longer receive their product. I contacted the company and had to hold for 30 minutes before a recording came on that asked me to leave a message because all agents were busy. I called right back and eventually spoke with a rep who was courteous and worked hard to assist me (poor girl, but with the way the economy is, I guess some job is better than no job at all). She gave me an RMA# and told me to write it on the package and send it back to them. Well I did just that and my mail carrier left it right in my mailbox three days in a row. Also, if you notice you cannot cancel your order by just writing "Return to Sender" on the package (Clue #1). After some searching the rep found my original email, stating that it must have been overlooked. She told me that I should see the money back in my account within 48 hours. Well more more than 448 hours have passed and the money is still not in my account. I'm going to call the BBB and my bank to dispute the charge.

This is LUDICROUS!

I also ordered the free sample for Acaii Berry Maax which I did receive. They then charged me 79.95 for product I did not receive. (Plus the product did not work for me.) I am unable to cancel the product as all their contact information is bogus. I wonder if Dr. Oz, Rachel Ray and Oprah know they are using their names to promote this fraud. My credit card company did agree to do a fraud investigation. Say it will take 6-8 weeks. I urge everyone to take this step. If anyone has any other ideas let me know. Patti

I have had the same experience as everyone else...I ordered and was charged for the trial shipment...then when the product didn't work for me, I tried to cancel via their gethelp website link; however I did not have an order number at all so was unable to submit my complaint.

I also tried to call them at [protected] and was was told there was a 30 minute wait time (due to the "popularity of their product" ?!?) and I never got through at all after waiting for 45 minutes...I am now going to try to cancel the new $80 charges they made against my credit card via my bank, and my next step will be to contact Oprah and direct her to this complaint board. I definitely can't afford this type of fraud as I am unemployed! This company need to be shut down immediately!

I ordered acai berry powder for $1.00 plus shipping and handling for $3.95, however they charged my account $85.90 when I called they denied charging my account they stated they only charged the $3.95. They stated their web site is www.extremeacaiberry.com and not www.acaiberrymax.com. They are both and the same, so be aware do not order anything from them; it's a total scam to get your money. I asked if I could speak with a supervisor, first she stated their wasn't one there, then she stated they were in a meeting and I could call back in 3 hours. The number I dialed was [protected] if you want to try the number. I am so frustrated with them right now, for denying they've taken the money. I think they should be sued.

I also ordered the product, when I received it the bottle didn't look anything like what was on the website. They charged the membership fee AFTER I CLEARLY AND INEQUIVOCABLY sent them emails canceling before my trial period date. I called the company right away and a lady named Rhonda said my money would be credited back to my account in a 24 to 72 hour period...I still don't have the credit. Now when I call the company, I get a busy signal or when it's answered the call is immediately disconnected...FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD...NEVER AGAIN!

Acai Berry FINALLY GOT THROUGH [protected]

It's been well over a month and a half since this nightmare began. I ordered the ACAI BERRY SUPREME and was unable to cancel the 15 day trial. I was charged for the the ACAI BERRY AND THE CLEANSER. I have tried everyday to contact this company with all the phone numbers provided and had no success. On 26 Nov, I received another bottle of ACAI BERRY. I tried calling again and still no success. FINALLY! On 28 Nov at 8:45 central I got through on [protected], plus I went on Live Chat at the same time. While I was talking to the individual on the phone (Rex), I was also on Live chat with (Jessica). On the phone Rex cancelled any future orders but wouldn't give me a RMA # to return the current product I had just received, he said to keep it. Jessica (Live chat girl) gave me an RMA # and said all future orders were cancelled. However, she stated that I would only get a 70% refund if I return it with in 15 days from the order date. I found that strange. Anyway, I have yet to see a confirmation email which she said would take at least 24 hours. I do have a copy of the the live chat. As of this morning 29 Nov, I found that they charged me $94 for the current bottle. I contacted my bank and have filed an unathorized charge dispute and have cancelled my check card. When I called the bank last month I put a dispute in against White Tea Co, which is what the name was on my bank statement hoping to avoid anymore charges. This time the name came across as ACAI BERRY. SO EVERYONE BE AWARE AND CANCEL THOSE CREDIT CARDS OR CHECK CARDS!

I am also going through the same issue. Had I known that a simple supplement would cause this much trouble I NEVER would have tried the 'free' trial. What a pain in the neck.

This company is an absolute fraud and very unprofessional in it's refusal to refund my money.

I am having the same problem with this company. It was not made clear on the link I went to that there would be a charge after 15 days. I just saw the charge on my bank account and lost my mind! Anyhow, I tried calling the [protected] phone number and it just cuts off. No busy, no ring, no nothing! I called my bank and they said to try and e-mail this company, and keep track of all of the documentation so I can try and get it taken care of, but it looks like I may have to cancel my debit card!

Acai Berry scam

I ordered a trial bottle for $3.95 of Acia Berry. Did not know was auto renewal. Never received item. Called when I saw it on my credit card statement and was told that since I did not call to tell them to cancel the item, which I never received, that it automatically renewed for $89.31. Also, there is a charge I never authorized for $29.95 from www.fit-fac.com that I now know is part of this Acia Berry scam. I asked several times to speak to a supervisor and was denied. Thank goodness the credit card company is handling this.

Hi everyone... so i'm not that stupid or at least I'm not the only one! I've ordered the free trial of Extrem Acai berry and actually received it, 14 days later they billed me a 97, 86$ of that acai stuff witch I, ve never received ( I'm in Canada so it's more expensive) I've called, they say they have cancel my account. But 2 weeks after, they charged me again, and I also had a price limbo thing of 30$ AND a 30 day thin thing at 29$ too.
I was mad so I called my credit card compagny.

Just to let u no, you have a contestation service on your card. I told them I've called to cancel and still they billed me and I received notting. They refund the entire ammount. BUT they keep on billed me under different compagny name. So I had to call back my credit card last week and I spoke with a guy that told me that it'a a reseau of compagny that exchange clients adresses and credit card numbers. There'as actually millions of people that have been scams by them and ask for a refund witch credit card compagny automaticly do.

As for the quality of the product, it's 5% good and the rest is ... ###! Acai power is most found in the fruit juce.
your buddy will absorbe 70% of it in that form. For the pills, the body doesn'T even absorbe 5% of it. It's not a weith loss solution ether, it's good for the organism as an full antioxidant fruit. They sell an 100% real acai juce at 30$ at the bio store. That will be much more affective!

So that s it!

I too ordered ACAI Burn and Bromalite Colon Cleanser and had to call 5 different ph #s to cancel all. As I was ordering I used my Print Screen button to save the fine print to my PC so I had all the phone numbers and details. For the ACAI product you are signed up on autoship and if you do nothing after receiving your 14 day free trial you will be billed 69.95 for the bottle and be on autoship so that in 30 days you will recv another bottle and charged 69.95 again. Also the fine print states you are signed up for Insiders Secrets to Weightloss and signed up for E Book Package. (what ever that is)

Here are the ph #s: ACAI Burn [protected], Insiders Secrets: [protected], E Book: [protected]

Then for Bromalite same thing your on autoship unless you call and cancel acct. you are signed up for a 21 day free trial for Fit Factory website and after that they will charge 29.95 monthly for use of their website.

Here are the ph #s: Bromalite: [protected] and Fit Factory [protected].

One more comment - the worst thing about this scam is all the "Add Ons" that they do not warn you about. I didn't know anything about the Fit Factory membership (where was this even mentioned?) or anything else. Conveniently they send you no information with your trial size so you have no idea what you're getting yourself into. Despicable!

I am going through all of this myself. I live in Germany so some of the 1-800 numbers don't work. I finally was able to cancel with Fit Factory, but have all these ridiculous charges on my bank card from places like Price Savers and Price Limbo. I have called my bank to ensure no future charges are accepted. These people should be closed down and quick!

Even if you have the phone number and their address, they still wont refund the money. Take it up with your CC company, they are all aware of these people and are working to get them shut down.

I sent for 'my acai max cleanse' and 'pure cleanse' which went through as free samples. Pure Cleanse did at least state that shipping would be £10+ and I accepted that but there was no mention of any such amount for My Acai Max Cleanse. After taking both of these for a few days, I have now discovered that £64.58 has been taken from my bank. Unfortunately I can't remember which site I ordered from as I don't keep paperwork for such things once the goods have arrived. As they were supposed to be free samples, I didn't expect to have to send them back. I just remember reading what was supposed to be a reporter's story and recommendation. Thank goodness I have a bank account that covers this sort of thing.

I wish I had seen your posts before I got suckered in by them! Thanks to a add on WEATHERBUG...they should have to remove all scams from their advertising.

I ordered the "FREE" sample on 7/30/09. Come 8/14/09 it still wasn't here. So I cancelled my account with them. The product arrived on 8/17/09 - on 8/19/09 I was doing online banking...only to find my account had been charged the $87.13. I called them immediately. Only to find that I didn't cancel within 15 days of the initial order, so I must therefore pay for it. Now if I want a refund I'm suppose to return the product to them. WITHOUT EVEN TRYING IT!

I had tried the juice, liked it, thought the pills would be easier. Had no intention of not staying with it. But NOW after seeing how they scam people I want NOTHING to do with their company!

The exact same thing happened to me. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company. Even after filing a complaint with the acai berry company and receiving an e-mail telling me that my order would be "cancelled", the charge has still not been removed from my credit card, despite the fact that I returned the "order" back to them immediately. Absolutely a fraud.

They charged me for something I didn't buy either. I paid shipping on a free sample and on 11/24/08 there was a transaction of $88.62 that I did not authorize. I have filed a complaint to my bank to stop the payment. However, when I try calling the number for Acai Berry, you can't get through. This is fraud in the 1st degree.

Acai Berry Free trial Scam

I sent for a free sample of the above product and agreed that my credit card be deducted in the sum of $3.95 for post and packing. Upon reciept of the free trial the advice slip informed me that my account would be further deducted on a monthly basis $89.31 for a months supply of Extreme Acai Berry Tablets unless I cancel the arrangement within 14 days, a telephone number was supplied as per above but it wasn't contactable.

The advice note also stated that the company had "several great products and we want to ensure that you are aware of how these charges may appear on your statement" Acai Green Tea Fusion, Acai GT Blend, My VIP Fit, Your VIP Fit, I also understand from a blog complaint site re this company/scam that customers may also find them selves "signed up to" Acai, Nubodi, Pricelimbo and Fitfactory with attendant unagreed charges being made.

I most certainly did not knowingly undertake to recieve anything more than the free sample when making my order and giving my credit card details. Neither did I give my authority to have my details passed on to any other undertaking. I am now aware of hundreds of customers world wide having been scammed by this company.

I for my part have cancelled my credit card account, blocked all transactions and made a fraud report to my bank/credit card supplier. There was no other contact detail on the advice note other than the phone number. The shipping detail on the package is

This may be of help in tracking down this organisation. I do hope that you are able to do something about this shocking business.

Ordered Online "free sample" . Cancelled further orders. Was charged for a membership to fitfac.com 29.95 per month, prizelimbo.com 8.51, and 89.31 for another bottle of Extreme Acai Berry melt away tablets. When I called the number on the bottle to dispute, they would not reverse the charges. I am disputing with the credit card company.

I paid 2.00 postage and handling for a 15 day trial supply of tablets and was charged 89.00 plus for a "membership" and monthly tablets. Nothing was ever said about having to pay for a membership or for more tablets when requesting for the 15 day supply.

I ordered this trial size of acai berry tablets for just under £3. What the website didnt tell me was that after 14 days of having the trial size i would then have to pay around £60-£70 for 31 day supply, so on and so forth. I have been given an American contact number to ring, but as Im from England I cannot ring the number. I just want to know how the hell I cancel this as Im a single mum who is struggling to feed my child and now I have this to worry about aswell. I am in desperate need of cancelling this right away but I have no idea how to. Please help me.

The only details left on the delivery package were:

I had read many complaints here about this company so when I came across their advert on the internet I decided to check it out. Their terms and conditions clearly state when and how much will be debited to accounts and also give clear instructions as to what has to be done and when in order to avoid any charges. This seems like a case of people not taking the time to read what they are agreeing to by taking the trial offer.

Yup I'm another one been scammed by this company, the contact number is the same but the address is PO box 2061 Sandy, Utah 84091.
Only realised last week that they had been taking money and only ever received one bottle of pills after the free trial !
Tried to ring the number but apparently my provider needs to authorise the number (whatever that means)

Never again will I be scammed like this, would like to know how I get all my money back ;o(

Why are these people allowed to post ads online?
This is a pathetic scam - they should be sued - and, wait, perhaps ALL the sites that post their ads should be sued as well, as they are ENABLING these ###.

Listen up! If you try to get a free sample of Wacaiberry8 they will take your credit card number for shipping than they will charge your account $88.62 per month for a monthly supply without your knowledge! The number they provide on the charge is [protected] its either busy, discontects you or doesn't pick up at all. The only way to get them to stop charging you or sending you pills is to contact them... and guess what GOOD LUCK trying to do that! Can't trust anyone anymore. Very sad.

Acai Berry Credit American Express

I continue to received charges on my American Express card even though I have written numerous letters with attached credit card statements since I could NEVER get though to the phone number listed. I have received the two credits due me for the $74.95 each, but there are four other charges that have not been credited. They are as follows: 7/29/08 for $4.95, 8/09/08 for $5.95, 9/29/08 for $5.95 and 10/28/08 for $4.59 - totalling $21.44. If this is not corrected soon on my American Express account, I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau in Chattanooga, TN. If any further information or proof is needed, I will gladly comply. Thank you, Linda D. Morris
