I live in New Zealand and was charge over $50 for free trial i dont know how to get a hold of them and i cant find their on line chat that they say you can go to i cant afford to be charged again i have kids to worry about. Can someone tell me how to get incontact with them
i though this product gave you your money back but they still charged me. Does anyone know of the address to ship the product back to them and they also had partners stores that were charging me and i had to call them. Need address to return the product and hopefully get my money back. They told me to insure the product to send it back does anybody know about this? Thanks
To call them you can use skype, just put some credit on your account. Real cheap per minute, a little over a penny.
To cancel from outside USA:
-Acaiburn [protected]

-Comprehensive Weight Loss E-book Package [protected] am to 7pm mountain time so 2pm to 2am gmt)
I called Acaiburn and the lady told me my account was permanently canceled, said she refunded me the $59.95 (takes up to a week for the money to come through) and said no further charges will be made. I hopeShe wouldn't refund the $25 for international shipping even though I never actually recieved the product.
The rashes and other side effects may not necesarily be the fault of the product. It conains many ingredients and you may have an allergy to them without knowing, they're not common ingredients. Plus many things react bad with contraception pills. But I don't know enough to judge either way. It's not a miracle product, you need good excercise and healthy diet while taking it, just like any other weight loss pill, however, this one is particularly troublesome in terms of payments.
General advice is not to order to avoid money trouble.
I am so sad to read so many people being taken advantage of. I too fell into the trap of the spin that i could lose so much weight in such a short time. I am usually such a carefull internet shopper, and I would be the first person to say how stupid someone is to order such a product without realising it is a scam, however I will endevour to not judge people so quickly from now on. I have been about 4 stone overweight since my daughter was born 4 years ago. since then i have spent most of my time trying to diet. losing and regaining weight like a yoyo. i oredered acaiburn and within 5 minutes of buying i realised i made a terrible mistake. when my husband returned home i plucked up the courage to tell him what i had done. he was brilliant. he was more concerned about me taking the pills than the money. we immediatelly called our credit card company and reported them as stolen, that way with any luck they won't be able to take any more money. and i am hoping that this will be the end of it, although i have a feeling it won't be. they already took the $24.95 but hopefully they will not be able to take anymore. i guess i will know in a couple of weeks. ordering from this site may have been a huge mistake financially, however it is the best thing that has happened to me since my daugter was born. i have realised that my life is pretty great. yes i may be overweight, but i have to most fantastic husband that loves me regardless of my weight and stupidity and the most wonderful, beautiful perfect daugter in the world. My mistake may financially be upsetting, however it has opened my eyes to the fact that i actually have a wonderful life and that will not get any better even if i were thinner. Thin doesn't mean happy anymore than money does. i am glad this scam happened because now i will not take the pills when they arrive and potentially save myself from any unknown harmfull side effects. i want to see my daugter grow into a woman and savour life in all it's glory. life is not about being thin it is about being happy. i still want to lose weight, but i will only do it the healthy way. i will make an appointment to see my doctor and discuss a suitable diet/excercise plan. it may take me longer, but i will get there in the end. the most important thing to me now is to make sure my daugter grows up without any insecurities about her weight or body image and if she finds herself in this possition in the future, that i will help her lose weight the healthy way. so as a message to all you people out there.
good luck with cancelling and getting your money back, but remember - no one has died. you are not weak or stupid, you just had a slip of judgement. your weight does not define who you are. you are not worth less because you are overweight. if you are a good person you are equal to every other good person on the planet. appreciate the good things in life and be a possitive person, you will feel better for it.
if this text helps only one person then it was worth writing.
Sending you all love and happy thoughts
linda
i have had the same happen to me i have tried to call them but the line is dead how do i cancel it so they cant take anymore money from me if anyone knows please email me emmadhunter'hotmail.com
I totally agree, i ordered acai burn crap on 3rd March 2017. Within two to three weeks of that date, i have been receiving anonymous calls with no call back numbers. Further to the initial $4.95 order, i have been enrolled on E-books, insiders secrets, acaiburn extreme and God knows what else. The most annoying thing is that you have to call all of them individually to cancel or else they will continue to charge your card. Also make sure you cancel your card and get a new one. The numbers required are as follows:
1. [protected] -For insiders secrets and Acaiburn Extreme
2. [protected] -For Acaiburn
3. [protected] -For Comprehensive weight Loss (E-Book)
4. [protected]-For Acai Burn extreme.
NOTE: Please note that you must call to cancel Acaiburn extreme (Costs $29.95 and $39.95 which is different from AcaiBurn (Costs $59.95) as they will not cross cancel for you. Similarly, demand a refund (as in ask for it).
The most annoying thing with this nightmare, one click gets into many different accounts yet one call cant cancel these many companies.
KEEP AWAY FROM ACAI AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES.
For those who have ordered outside of the USA, the best option is to log onto SKYPE (skype is a telephony program that you can call worldwide with) and set the calling country to be from USA since it is free to call the following numbers even using skype (i haven't done it but i believe someone from OZ succeeded however i have been using skype for years now). Call the following numbers and ask for a refund and cancellation of the product/scam.
The numbers are as follows:
1. [protected] - Acai burn Extreme
2. [protected] -Acai Burn
3. [protected]- Comprehensive weight Loss (E-Book)
4. [protected]- Insiders Secrets
You must cancel everything separately and YES there is a difference between acai burn and acai burn extreme. You will normally get polite people to help and if you do not get a polite and professional person ask for an ACAI BURN SPECIALIST.
There are some more reports under Solution Get ur money back under the complaints board.
Good luck.
I too live in New Zealand and was caught in a moment of weakness with this abomination of a scam. As trsejada has said there is no on line chat and getting them on the phone is almost impossible. As another poster has said, cancelling your card is not the answer, I went to my bank today and filled in a disputes form, it apparently takes 2 weeks to do and I may get my $50 back but my main concern is stopping the thieves taking any more. Good luck to everyone and lets all hope these rip off merchants get shut down. All the best to you too Amy, try not to let it get you down, go to your bank asap.
Naz u need to add 001 to the number when calling from the UK so [protected] to get through
i wrote before that i canceled and was waiting for the refund. it just arrived. the people whose refunds have not arived or who have been charged continously must have been dealing with incompetent operators on the phone. Or the acai burn system was malfunctioning. I will keep my eyes open though, in case they do charge me again for no reason. hopefuly they won't.
Hi everyone, I sucessfully cancelled my order with acai burn through their live chat facility and when I asked nicely, the representative also cancelled my other membership thingies because I said it was costing me a fortune trying to call from an Irish cell phone. I do feel foolish that I whizzed through the terms and conditions and obviously didnt read them properly...I should have spotted the 1800 numbers were US numbers...
To finish, the representative has said I can keep the 3 months pills even though I will only be charged for one month.
So not a bad ending, but I will keep a close eye on further charges, just in case...
try ringing number on back of card they will send you a distute form to distute your case then get a hold of their bank and if they cant distute why they took so much and why i havent received anything then visa will refund it and stop them from taking any more money try i will let you know how i go
BEWARE ACAI BURN SCAM
I purchased but I believed to be a 14 day free trial OBLIGATION FREE! However what was never mentioned or displayed in check out was the extra $20USD postage for overseas clients or extra $59.95USD+postage per month for acaiburn monthly program. The only time I become aware of these charges was after they were charged. I tried to contact the company for more than 3 weeks but was unable because their contact numbers dont work in Australia and their ONLY form of overseas contact online support wasn’t working atleast not for me. I finally found a valid number on my credit statement which showed up nearly 3 weeks after the purchase and I had already been trying to contact the company for 2 weeks to find out why the trial that was meant to cost me $4.95USD actually cost me $24.95USD then I was trying to contact them to find out why I never recieved the product. I searched the entire site for a contact email address but only found acaiburn@abuse.com under their privacy policy section. I emailled it 3 times without a single reply. I believe the site was illegitiment so I contacted comsumer affairs in my country, who advised me to cancel my credit card which I did and it was very inconvenient. I finally got through the company after 2 days of calling the number on my credit statement. I was informed the company was unaware live help was working in Australia and that Australians were unable to use the numbers on their site and that the “ONLINE” company does not have a contact email address or forum other than live help for consumers. So if don’t live in the country where those numbers work and live help fails TOO BAD! I explained my frustration and inconvenience but was shown no compassion or sincere concern. If you buy from this site, READ IT CAREFULLY! The extra charge for overseas clients is only displayed in FAQ’S under will I be billed if I keep my trials and you must click to see the information and be sure to read the trial information in the very bottom right hand corner on the check out page. The customer service of this company is the worst I have ever experienced EVER!
I Like everybody else on here I figured somethingw as wrong when I was sent confirmation of a $24.95 charge which was supposedto be $4.95. I went to my bank straight away & found out that £19 had beeen taken from my account. My bank teller went onto the website for me to try and find a cancellation email. When he couldnt he tried to find the company using the fraud prevention system that they have. He couldnt find the company.
I then went back online and spoke to a live chat person who told me that she had cancelled my order but that she could not refund the shipping charge and that after 14 days I would also be charged for the months supply that I hadnt asked for.
When I asked her how it is feasible to receive an international shipment and get it back to them within 14 days she gave me an email for the "support team"
I emailed the "support team" and recieved the exact same email response 3 times from different members of the "support team"
They say that they have cancelled my order and will recieve a refund but I doubt very much that I will.
On saturday I cancelled my entire bank account and have re-opened a new one. My bank have logged a fraud complaint against them however since they are not a real company I doubt anything will happen.
On their home page under "contact us" they give an address and number for Cyprus. On the next page its Des Moines. I'v read about people getting charges from Isreal!
Unfortunately people will probabaly only read these warnings once they have been burned. If I was in the US & did just pay the $4.95 shipping cost i would not have panicked and wouldnt have known about all of the charges until it was too late.
Its a complte scam. As my bank manager told me on Friday - If you want to loose weight Eat less & exercise more.
I'd been jipped for a total of $117 not counting the three $35 overdraft fees that resulted ($27 membership with some fitness company and $89.95 for the "free" product) from a company that I found out was affiliated with them AFTER I ordered and I decided to cancel right away. I called and the rep told me to give it a chance and call back on the 6th- which was a week and a half away. She REFUSED to cancel my trial!
I sent 3 emails later that week (the livechat option wouldn't come up for me) and it was cancelled (I had to ASK for a cancellation confirmation code) but I was informed I would still be charged for the bottle and financial obligations with other 3 affiliated partners- who I knew nothing about! Here's what I did: I went right into my bank and canceled my account.
TODAY, I get an email from AcaiBurn saying I attempted to place an order for a free trial 8 days ago, which would've been the 21 days they needed to charge me for another bottle so I strongly believe they fraudulently tried to order another trial in my name with my ATM checkcard! What they didn't know is that I cancelled that account and they will be getting no more of my money. I emailed them back and told them they will not be helping themselves to any of my money and if they want I will send the bottle back at my expense- I mean it's not like the stuff works anyway! lol The email didn't go through- it's set up to send out emails only, how about that. Everything about them screams fraudulence and although I hated to cancel my acct I'm glad I did.
to all these people who think acaiberry is a scam i got a bottle of them and i dident pay for anythingi just simply lied to them and got a free bottle sent out i dont know if it works but i heard 1000times it does its not the fact that it dosent work ur all complaining the fact u got scammed when u ddient cause i read the terms and condions and they said you would be charged after the trial and the live agent was real so before complaning read the small print if it was such a scam opera wouldent advertise it on her show and i wouldent of got my bottle? im from australia to so there ya go and if u look on utube theres heaps of before and after videos of people using it yes real people
DO NOT BUY FROM ACAI BURN! CANCEL YOUR DEBIT OR VISA CARDS IF YOU HAVE.
I have the same Horror story dealing with them as everyone else that has complained.
I saw a pop up to try acai burn weight loss pills for free so checked out there website. It was free just pay $4.95 s/h, immediately after clicking to charge my debit card I suddenly see more info in very small print to the side that I will be entered into a monthly program and charged $59.95. I tried to stop the transaction but couldn't it went thru, I was charged the $4.95 + .15 which went thru on 4-8-09, I called 1 wk later on 4-15-09 after receiving the "free" offer to cancel everything, within this time I of course got suspicious of this Company and saw on the website that $6.95 a month will be charged for web access, I did not ask or sign for this either, The email that I received gives the impression that you have to click the link for this which I did not The operator that I spoke with told me that she will cancel everything but appx on 4-28-09 I will still be charged the $59.95 for the pills and that when I receive them (which I haven't yet) to send them back and I will be refunded the $59.95, I told the operator that I did not like being charged all this and that's when she gave me the address etc. to send the pills back to, I also told her that in their policy (which I have a copy of) it said that they can not accept debit cards. Yesterday I was charged $6.95 for web access which I thought was canceled and I just discovered that there will be another charge of $39.00 for an e-book service. I just went to my bank to cancel my debit card, I also had to call Bank or America to confirm this and the operator told me that they're aware of this Co. and have received many complaints. When I type in acai burn in my web search I get a long list of complaints of unfair practices and hiding information.
I too have fallen prey to the Acai Burn fraud. They advertise a "free trial" - only charge $4.95 for shipping for a month's supply. But as you progress through the million screens, it becomes a two week supply (already warning signs everywhere!). I found the many, many complaints about this company right after I finished ordering, and used the live chat customer service to cancel the trial - maybe ten minutes after I had ordered, certainly before it had even been processed. I was informed that somewhere along the way, I had agreed to a $59.95 charge for the first month's supply (that was to come after the trial) - so while I would never be sent any product, I would be charged this. I have already contacted my bank and am making sure they will never see a penny, but my advice - stay away from these fraudsters.
this is a complete scam!
i was charged straight away for the products, even tho they said that it would be deducted after 2 weeks.
jus after i read up on it after ordering, i read that people had money taken out of there account, up to £60 a month, and its so hard 2 cancel.
so i went to my bank, had my card cancelled, but jus before i cancelled it, they have just taken out £42!
complete scam!
I have been charged under Global Oistribution Montreal QC for £59.09. Has anyone seen this on their credit card as a transaction. big@budgies9.freeserve.co.uk .
Well, they got the "Burn" part right. I can't comment on whether this product stimulates weight loss, but it is true that you're unlikely to get out of this for less than a $70 lesson in "why not to be stupid with your credit card". Feeling glum one morning, I bought into the free trail deal and immediately regretted it. They do send your free 14 day trial in a 30 day supply, charge you for shipping, and also (did you really read through that entire promotion?) sign you up with "partners" for web access, sing alongs, and other surcharges. I have rarely seen a product so misrepresented. In a reversal of common sense, I didn't look for complaints against the product until after I had signed for the free trial. I have since cancelled (will wind up paying the $59 bucks for the "free trial", and also cancelled both the Insider scam and the weight-loss sing along or whatever, although even with all of the confirmed cancellations I'm still unsure who else is in possession of my card number. I haven't lost a pound, although I will say that the product hasn't made me jittery or kept me up nights - that is a result of the marketing. Move over Ponzi scheme, make way for AcaiBurn!
The full amount payable is in the terms and conditions, so I knew about that, what I didn't know was that even if you don't receive the product (which I didn't) you still get charged the full fee and the ongoing monthly fee. I found out today that the numbers don't work and as cancelling the credit card is not an option I need to wait meanwhile they will keep charging me for a product I have never even trialed. BEWARE.
I learned that even after cancelling the memberships, they still took money out of my account. So that is BS!
well victoria, if you read the comments right you would realize that people canceled and still got charged, there is no right to that, i could understand if there was no cancellation but there was. the product was not the complaint.
Aciaburn keep taking money from my account even though I have returned there product over a week ago and they took more money just YESTERDAY. I WILL TRY TO PHONE THEM IN THERE WORKING HOURS. But I would say to anybody thinking of going to this site BE VERY CAREFUL IN FACT DO NOT EVEN GO THERE.
The Acai Nurn and Acai berry scams are almost legendary. About two months ago my bank replaced my credit card at their initiative by noting that it "may have been compromised." If your bank or credit union is on its toes, it may well have done the same for you. The cause of "may have been compromised" is likely the Acai scammers.
Many of us were taken in by the web ad flaunting Rachael Rae and other celebrities. The purpose of the ad is to distract you from the small print. In addition to getting billed for Acai pills of dubious worth, you also unwittingly subscribed to two of their "affiliates." I hope their officers are soon indicted as "accomplices."
To get off, start by calling affiliate #1 Secrets and Insiders
[protected]. My experience was a recording that says they don't do refunds of past charges, but a polite agent who took me off with confirmation number. She cued me to the fact Ialso needed to call affiliate #2 Comprehensive Weight Loss [protected]. They verified my bank had already canceled their act for me .
The final stop is the primary culprit [protected] --Acai Burn. They too informed me that my bank had canceled their ticket. I have paid a bit for this lesson but I am now shed of them.
Yes-- many of these "free sample" and "acai berry" firms are one and the same. Unsubscribe to one, and the others will start phoning.
Register your phones with the Federal no-call list and report the little ### when they phone you. If you pick up on a concealed number, ask the person on the other end their company name, their phone number, and where they are calling from. Immediately tell them to remove your number from their call list. Then-- immediately--report all online to the Federal no call list. If enough of us do that, we can shut them down.
Please, go to my blog at Oprah.com where I´m trying to gether peoples voices to make a difference.
I´ve been scammed to by an internet company that goes under a webcite called www.freepowercleanse.com and oddly enough, they use the same phonenumber as the company that scammed you...!
Please, try to make a difference.
My blog name is: icequeen5
Thank you.
how did you get onto the live chat? i cant even seem to contact them
hi i now have the same problem how do you cancel i;ve tried phoneing but no luck have taken alot of money out of my creadit card did you get a phone number please help all the numbers i have don't work they just cut off.
We had the same thing happen to us that many have complained about. AcaiBurn charged us $59.95 after the "FREE" trial period which was a surprise to us when we received the products and later the credit card bills. But the real surprise was the additional charges that showed up on our bills for web access - $4.95 each month and online diet consultation - $9.95 each month and a $1.00 Transaction fee for each. We called the toll free numbers for all three and the recording for Web and Diet made it very clear that we would be receiving NO refunds for the charges already paid. We were able to cancel both and called [protected] and the $1.00 transaction fees reversed for both. They may have done all of this legally if you read all of the small print, but they sure did not do it ethically when so many people are calling in to cancel these surprise charges. We were on hold for 20 minutes waiting to cancel the Web Access rip-off, I'm glad they were paying for the call. Oh yes, interestingly enough both of these calls had recordings made by the same voice and the on-hold music is the same.
Yeah I was really annoyed when I realised that it was a scam.
But I rung up the number (even though there were about 20 to choose from) and it got answered almost straight away and she cancelled my order and gave me the returns details within 5 minutes. I agree that it's VERY irritating though and I was PISSED when I found out. Who calls it a "free" trial when you're then charged $60 for it?! And man, I can't afford to lose £40 on some stupid pills.
This is the address for any UK returns in case anyone needs it:
AcaiBurn
BTBmailflight Ltd.,
Unit 2 B Viking Industrial Estate
Hudson Road
Bedford
MK41 OQB
I think the shipping company might have been BTB mail flight?
But if you posted it from England to the UK returns, chances are the postage company would be Royal Mail.
(by the way you can still return the pills even if you have taken some of them)
Me too I got scam, they had taken in total up to date is £71.43. I had cancelled the so called membership (which I was unaware) today, hopefully there will no more charges. I had notify my visa card account already, they ensured me that they will dispute if there are anymore charges.
I just recently dealt with Acai Burn and it makes me even regret looking at their website, let alone using it. I, as many others as I've read, was overcharged. I ordered the "free" product online with just paying for shipping and handling of $4.95 but also was charged a $0.15 charge for an out of country charge...which is funny because they have that their company is in IA. Anyways, I received their product and also found out later that I was signed up for 2 additional programs that I did not know about until after paying the $4.95 shipping. I called as soon as I received the product to stop any charges on my account, including the 2 that I didn't know about. They told me that I needed to send any unused portions of the pills back and would not be charged, but it had to be insured mail. I did this, but also used a return receipt. I sent off the pills way before the trial portion was over and they received them before it was over as well. I know this because I did the return receipt and they received it 4 days prior to my trail ending. They still charged me the $59.95 for the pills even though they had them. I called to complain and the guy told me that they would refund me my money but it would take awhile. In this time they sent my account into overdraft and I let him know that they had done this, he said "Well its not our fault you dont have enough money in your account." Beware of this company...not to mention the pills dont work at all...
When you send your portion of the pills back not to be charged make sure the use a return receipt with the insured as well. This way when they charge you after they have already received the pills you can PROVE they received them and on what date.
To send the pills back here is the address:
Acai Burn
PO Box 10233
Des Moines IA 50381
Phone number: [protected]
Make sure to put your order number on the outside of the package as well as insuring it with a return receipt.
It cost me $10.25 to mail it back...so beware of that too.
To cancel the "Web Access Fee" you need to call:
[protected]
They are only open Monday through Saturday 6am-7pm Mountain Time
To cancel the "Weight Loss EB" Fee you need to call:
[protected]
They are only open Monday through Friday 7am07pm Mountain Time
Make sure to call ALL of these numbers and cancel or they will continually charge you. Write down who you spoke with, what time and what date. It will help when they try to argue that you never canceled with them. And whatever you do, make sure you get a confirmation number of the account being canceled!
I cancelled the Acai berry one but also cancelled my bank card, will they still try any take money even though my account is cancelled? Should I still call and cancel the other 2 subscriptions, it does say on their terms and conditions that they would charge for any payments not met and interest.
I tried calling and the man couldnt understand me! grrrrr Such an idiot! Why do we do these things when we know its stupid!
Also what if i dont return the stupid pills, they cant take the money then? Going to cost loads sending them back!
The lady on the online help also said to me that I wasnt charged $24.95 but $4.95, even though Im in the UK!
We will see!
So anyone who cancelled their cards, what happened after?
I have had a real problem with acia burn, they have overcharged me on everything and have continued to take money out of my account. They do not give you a number to call from england and do not provide the openeing times. I applied for my free trial which they said would only be $4.95 i actually got charged £18.21. I didnt recieve the pills for a whole month and during that month they carried on taking money out of my account.
I would recommend anyone who is looking at Acai burn not to do it.
I received a free trail pack, but it wasnt really free, I was aware of the postage costs etc... Then I received a email saying they had'nt responded to a message and was sending out $300 worth if free pills and to send my shipping detaiuls of course it prompted me to add credit card details which I DID NOT do.
Can't say I am seeing any results although I have totally stuck to what they said to do. I found I lose weight faster eating properly and healthy and exercise produces faster results then what these tablets say they so..
How sad is it, that we who are out there trying to lose weight get totally scammed by some money hungry ###!
I have learned the hard way that this ACAI Berry bull is a big scam. I called to cancel my products but my debit card was charged anyway. They give you this bull that you had 14 days from date of order even though the product is not even sent out til two days later. How can they say you have a 14 day free trial if I only had 8 days to try it before I was charged for it. I went so far as to speak to two supervisors who are in my opinion just there to repeat the same old bull and do not do anything. I am going to take this to the State Attorney General's Office in hopes that other people do the same and maybe someone can look into these companies and close them down. I dealt with ACAI Berry and Nature Cleanse and lost $88.00 to one and 87., 13 to the other plus shipping and handling fees. To anyone out there please please please do not get scammed like we did. IT IS JUST TOO BAD THAT WE ARE NOT GIVEN THIS WEBSITE UNTIL THE PRODUCT IS ACTUALLY RECEIVED AND THEN AS IN MY CASE I DID NOT TAKE THE TIME TO RESEARCH PRIOR TO ORDERING. PLEASE TAKE THIS TO YOU ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE AND SEE IF SOMEONE CAN PUT A STOP TO THESE COMPANIES. THANKS ORALIA
