If it may it please the court, I would like to proceed with my complaint against this company for insulting my intelligence.
I am very upset to receive this email threatening a warrant for my arrest. I am not worried about the warrant part. I am upset that someone would send me such an idiotic attempt at abusing legal terms INCORRECTLY EVERY SINGLE TIME. Not once did this person say anything within the realm of legal possibility so I a complaining because people are stupid.
A. Warrant for arrest. 5 reasons to have a warrant:
1. probable cause by police officer of a crime committed
2. failure to show up to court
3.Warrant in another state
4.Violation of probation
5. Failure to pay child support
B. I am being threatened that this impersonator is going to file a case. It has a case number listed. I don't know how this is possible. Furthermore she/they/it says I have a docket number. I have no case number, I have not appeared in court, so no court proceedings have been recorded. How is there a docket?
C. The prefix EVR is not a standard docket abbreviation
D. She/they/it is calling my employer and telling them to garnish my wages and that I am bad and naughty. I haven't received a call yet. I'm self-employed.
E. "Will release a clearance certificate from the court: doesn't even make any sense. I mean, just looking at the sentence it doesn't make sense. And as far as I know, there are security clearances, tax debt clearances, job duty clearances, visa clearances...nothing having to do with anything
F. They are going to call the sheriff's office...who will then call the court...and someone will gently lay a summons upon my doorstep? I suppose I should pretend to be Daisy Duke? That is not how it works, dingbat.
For the love. That was just painful.
Desired outcome: Cease and desist order on all emails to people, some actually believe it and send money. I wasted an hour dealing with this, I work as a medical writer at a rate of $150 /hr and demand reimbursement for an hour of work missed
I just received one of these emails. Your message helped alot. Thank you
