We purchased a complete set of appliances, all Frigidaire Gallery. The company came out twice to tighten the handle on the refrigerator and it is still extremely loose and ready to fall off! When I called the third time they conveniently had no record of any previous fixes and told me that it was no longer under warranty and considered cosmetic only and not covered. Really? How do you use a freezer without a handle to open the draw? What if the screws are stripped from the previous repairs, which they deny, and how do you replace the handle. If the handle fell off would that still be cosmetic? How do you deal with a defective appliance and a company that sold them to you who lied about sending someone out? My husband was home when they came one time and my brother the next. Not sure if it makes a difference but the appliance store sent the "delivery guys" for these fixes. Was that so it would not be on record as being defective? We are in our 70's and cannot access these screws - the delivery people who came back TWICE had to lay on the floor to get at them to tighten them.

Hi Gayle. Frigidaire makes a really good line of quality appliances within their Gallery line. I'm sure you've enjoyed them very much. Whether or not Agren Appliances serviced the appliance previously, and by how the servicing was done is otherwise much less important. In this case, the question is one of warranty coverage. When did you make this purchase? Normally the warranty provided with the Gallery line is an industry standard one year-limited. Did you purchase any additional warranty coverage through Agren Appliances?
