AIESEC International review: EP house, AIESEC Sri Lanka attitude

I arrived on 11 Feb, 2024 I went to the EP house and I found it miserable and sent pics to Didula, and Mindi and they did nothing

I was suffering for 7 hrs till tharindu helped me to find affordable hostel

As I didn't want to take any action without telling AIESEC

Didula just came to me yesterday, after 3 days

I asked him about compensation (to deduct hostel amount of $8 per day in the 4 days)

He contacted someone and said only $13

I informed my team leader & VP in Egypt that if they wouldn't change this amount I won't join the project!

Then Didula said in a very welcoming way, they accept that I'll leave and not join the project!

I sent in the group what happened on the first day and no one took an action!

I've been dreaming of this trip for 8 months and I left my family, job, friends and my comfort zone to participate with you!

Everything they informed me before coming to Egypt was a lie. They said they will provide a good CLEAN accommodation, we will travel to many places, in case something bad happen they would take a quick action to make me satisfied, they are gonna take care of me!

I'm so disappointed after trusting AIESEC and after wasting my money & time!
