I scheduled a move across the country with Olympian Worldwide Moving and Storage, picking up my goods on 4/27/22. They could not fit everything inside the pod provided and so took 2 boxes not inside the pod but attached to it. They took my possessions to their warehouse for storage until I was ready for them to send it across the country. I agreed to storage for 2 months, not knowing when I would be ready for my goods to be sent. In early June I requested my items to be sent. I was promised a date for this to happen and Olympian never called back (after repeated phone calls to them) or they would make a date and change it to a later date. In as much as I contacted them June 6 for them to send my possessions, and I didn't receive them until July 21 (after 3 dates were cancelled prior)I suspect that they waited to send the items to increase my storage bill. They only gave me a date, after I called them multiply times-they never called me with a date.
The items arrived on July 21 by a very caring and personable individual but we noticed certain things were damaged. Everything that was customer wrapped and placed in boxes, was fine. However, items that were blanket wrapped by Olympian were damaged. After unpacking, we noticed some items missing. Perhaps the boxes that were not placed inside the pod and were loose, never made it with the rest of the shipment. I have made numerous calls to Olympian to speak to the warehouse Manager, Dave and he has never called back. I have left several messages with Olympian customer service and they do not return my phone calls. I started a claim with the parent company Allied and sent it in on 8/27/22. I have called the adjustor six times after being given a claim number and a registration number to find out the status of my claim and have not heard from them at all. I don't like the way either company conducts business and their customer service is horrible. There is no follow through. Olympian made promises to check on things and never called back. Allied has ignored every phone call placed to them.
