Amedisys review: Your management

Do not use Amedisys Hospice.
They are a terrible company with no compassion for their patients.
The company rejects their patients after a few months with no reason.
They discontinued my clients hospice care all of a sudden. My client was bedridden and not able to even sit up. There reason was that they had not declined enough. Notified his doctor and they were also in disbelief.
The company they use for their medical equipment called my client after they discontinued service and said they needed to come and pick up the hospital bed that my client was in. They made no plans for my client to receive a replacement hospital bed. The supplier of the bed arrived to pick up the bed and could not wait while the firefighters were moving my client into another bed. He left angry and was very unprofessional.
He caused much unnecessary stress to the patient's family.
Always know the quality of the companies that work with you and for your company.
