On September 13, 2021 I paid 57.00 to renew my membership to AmericanAutomobile Association and dropped my deceased significant other. The check cleared my account on Sept. 20, 2021. I received a call from AAA asking if I wanted to add someone else to my account and I declined the offer. On Sept. 28, 2021 I received a check from AAA for 57.00 made out to my ESTATE. I called AAA customer service, informed them I was alive and well and they advised me to destroy the check. In the meantime AAA cancelled my membership and I asked them to reinstate it as they still had my 57.00 payment. Since Sept. 28 I've made the following follow up calls: October 25 and spoke with Andrea, October 26 and spoke with Sharon, October 29 and spoke with Barbara. On November 11 Gary told me I'd receive on email the next day regarding reinstatement of my membership. I received no email so I called and spoke with Barbara on November 11 who said the billing department is still processing my request to reinstate my membership.
AAA has my payment but I have no membership due to their errors. First error was making me deceased. Second error was telling me to destroy a check that was nonnegotiable anyway.
Desired outcome: AAA reinstate my membership that they cancelled in error.
