American Consumer Shows review: Bad business practices 2

We paid for an exhibitor booth for the Fall 2022 show. With this being our first show, we received many discounts as an incentive to sign up. The show came and went and it was a fail. We hardly received any bookings and decided we no longer wanted to participate in any ACS shows as it was extremely unorganized, expensive and we were placed right next to a DJ booth which completely drowned us out. We couldn't talk to or hear potential leads. Apparently we signed a multi year renewal agreement to which we were never notified that the deadline was coming due on July 1st. We were contacted after the fact multiple times on the phone and sent many invoices asking for payment. It wasn't until early September when I Spoke to Nancy their senior rep and she told me it was too late and it was "out of her hands". We are still obligated to pay for a booth we wouldn't be using for the fall 2023 show. With our 2nd child on the way, she could care less and threatened to send me to collections if I did not pay. I reviewed the contract I signed and nothing states that I am obligated to attend and pay for each year's fall show nor does it state that it's on ongoing contract for each year. Their contract is completely vague and completely null and void. We will not be signing up to ever attend another ACS show due to their lack of professionalism and rudeness we received from Nancy. She kept talking over me and would not let me speak or try to explain our situation. We are extremely unhappy with this business and will not be paying any monies due.
