I was contacted by a man with a heavy indian, mid eastern accent. He claimed his named was calvin colins. He stated that i had a payday loan from 5 to 6 months ago that i got online (in which i havent ever), and that if i didnt pay 300.00, he would take to me court. Kept telling me i am getting arrested. He knew my name, bank information, my moms name, etc...really scarey. He couldnt tell me any information, when the deposit was made, etc... I did research and found out this man and the so-called company is all just a fraud and scam. I called every agency i could and put in complaints. He also called me a ###, liar, amoungest other names i will not list. Kept saying, get a attorney, ur gona need it.

Wow! Reading every comment and it is identical to mine. The first call I got was from a Greg Nelson who left a message on my work phone. Strong accent and I couldn't even understand what the hell he was saying. No call back number but threatening me same as everyone else. Said I had 48 hrs and he was coming to my work to arrest me. Never happened. I got three more calls today. Two on my cell from a Michelle Jones Dept of ATS phone. Again heavy accent and sounded like she was reading from a script card. I could also hear yelling in the back ground. No call back number and came up with no caller ID. Second call on cell was same woman and this time she left a phone number [protected] out of New York. I thought two can play this game so I called the number and went through everything you all went through. I got a Gerald and after his script reading and me not letting him get to me he hung up on me. I called the ### right back and was able to get the name of the business of Cash Advanced USA out of him. I never took a loan out with them. Make a long story short I harassed them to where they kept hanging up on me. I googled Cash Advanced USA and got a [protected]. I called the number and someone answered the phone "Hello". Right away I knew that this was the same crap. I went off on this guy and he told me to not call on this number. I ended up reporting this to the FBI this evening on the FBI website.
I received a call today...heavy Indian accents, don't know what name he gave, but said the same thing, but said he was from the Federal Beauru of Investigation, partnered with American Legal Service. He sent me to his "supervisor" who stated the same thing and said all the legal documents were sent to me via mail and email (he had all my information as well) I stated to him I never got them and for him to resend them to me so that I may show my attorney, he began to get really angry and refused to give me his name. He said if you don't want to help me and cooperate, then I won't help you and hung up. I kinda knew it was a scam, but I was trying to get as much information as possible...they are persistant and will tell you just about anything to get the $300.00 that they are asking for...oh and the number that they are using is [protected]-Please beware everyone and DO NOT PAY these people!
I am getting the same calls and now I am getting emails saying if i don't call american leagal servicesthat there will be a warrant for my arrest . i had emailed them back to tell me what was going on and they wouldn't tell me about it The guy that is calling me his name is tim crosby with a heavy accent . I DO NOT KNOW HOW THEY GOT MY EMAIL DUE TO THE FACT IT IS A WORK EMAIL IT'S SCAREY HOW THEY ARE GETTING ALL OF THIS INFORMATION ABOUT PEOPLE. I KNOW I DON'T ANYONE ANYTHING LIKE THAT. I KNOW IT'S A SCAM AND I AM NOT GOING TO FALL FOR IT BUT IT'S JUST REALLY SCAREY THAT THE LAW WON'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS. THE NUMBER IS [protected]
