I am disabled and handicapped so it is up to my contractor to decide if columns are damaged. I am not able to open the boxes or lift the product to check for damage. I asked the sales agent to review the entire sale verbally so I didnt miss any details. The sales agent Andrea Milkie lied at every step of the purchase process to get the sale. 1) I asked if there was a low-price guaranty which it says on the website. Sale agent said yes. 2) I asked if there was a customer satisfaction guaranty to return of replace the product if damaged or unsatisfactory. Sales agent said yes. 3) I asked how long it takes to ship and sale agent said 30-45 days depending on if it was in stock, packaging and shipping which was important to coordinate with contractor's schedule. Product arrived in 2 weeks while I was in the hospital. 4) I asked how long I had to inspect and return damaged merchandise or wrong size. Sales agent said 30 day return policy no questions asked. 5) I reported 50% of delivery was damaged and sales agent said she would fill out paperwork to ship replacements but after 1 week I received a letter from customer service manager saying everything the sale agent told me was a lie. There was no low price guaranty, no customer satisfaction guaranty, no 30 day return policy and there was a 3 day notification of damage...but product had to be inspected at delivery which was physically impossible for someone who is disabled/handicapped. They lied about everything to get my credit card information and then told me I would have to rebuy the damaged product if I wanted it replaced. The VP of Sales Ryan Shumaker actually told me that I could throw out the $1500 purchase of columns and buy wood columns from Lowes or Home Depot if I couldnt afford to rebuy them which is easy for them since they already have my $1500 and I still dont have undamaged useable product. ARCHITECTURAL DEPOT HAS THE ATTITUDE "YOUR WRONG, WE ARE RIGHT, YOU DONT MATTER BECAUSE MY SALES BONUS IS BASED ON LARGE ACCOUNTS YOUR A PIDDLY NOBODYTHAT ORDERS SMALL QUANTITIES WHICH MEAN NOTHING TO US IF YOU GO SOMEPLACE ELSE...INFACT...THEY AS MUCH AS TOLD ME...EITHER REBUY THEM OR FIND A DIFFERENT PLACE TO BUY PRODUCT.
Desired outcome: Stand by their product and customer satisfaction guaranty and send replacement columns at no cost.
I am still waiting for President Rick Selleck President of Architectural Depot and Ryan Shumaker VP of Sales to send me replacement columns.
