This company refused to let me change healthcare plans even thought there are major Quality of Care issues which is a reason you can change plans. First I waited over 4 months to see a psychiatrist because over half on their list are not taking their plan. They refused to work with them. Then I saw someone and the practice got shut down so I had to get medical records from the medical board. I saw a third person who did intake but then forgot to schedule my follow up visit so I missed another month without medication again. So I had to get psych meds from a non psych doctor that I had never even met before. I have yet to see a counselor after being with this company for a year. Let alone anyone that knows how to deal with brain injury, vision loss and early dementia. Now I get a letter in the mail my new psych provider will not be able to meet my needs. What a joke this insurance provider is, I have called everyone in their list. I have requested an insurance change and they absolutely refuse it! Christy at their company asked me for my doctors names because she was going to call and see if I needed all those specialist. I have 12 for a reason. It’s called chronic conditions and 2 auto immune disorders. It’s not her decision to decide who I see and if I need a specialist. It’s the doctor who makes the appointments. I have had it with this company. She should be fired for asking me that. I have referrals to everyone of those doctors.
Desired outcome: Change my insurance plan as I requested immediately! Needs to be done by 8/1/2022!!!
